    RED-S HOUSE SPECIAL
    Thommy C.

Been a big fan of Red's Savoy for many years. Last week, we picked up a couple of small pizzas for dinner. The order process was quick. Our pizza's were ready within the window the old us and the staff was friendly and helpful. Both pizza's were fresh and used a generous portion of toppings. 'Sota pizza is my favorite style of pizza and Red's does a great job of doing justice to this style. Will definitely visit the Eagan location again.

1/2 Hawaiian Pizza & the other 1/2 pepperoni was something I hadn't had in a long long long time at Savoy's Pizza place in Eagan. Sure miss the old place on 7th Street in St. Paul, MN but it was the second choice of places to try pizza. Still made with Red Savoys special pizza recipe sauce and the ovens are new and not the old so it came in a close second for the original pizza that was served on 7th Street in St. Pail, MN. Miss the old but still worth a visit for pizza the Savoy Way! Enjoy!!

    burnt :(

i feel bad writing a review but here i am. tonight i ordered a pizza, sometime around 8pm, not knowing they closed at 9. i felt bad ordering soo late. my pizza was delivered without notifying me, it seemed like a long delivery so i went downstairs to check and the pizza was left at the door and completely cold. when i brought it up to reheat, i opened the box and it was burnt. i don't really know what the deal was as the pizza is usually pretty great.

Just like the original St. Paul joint. Delicious marina sauce. Crispy thin crust. Micky Sorini would approve.

I can't tell you how many times I've tried disappointing Phillys across MN - we really need to get our act together. This sandwich broke the chain of disappointment. The sandwich itself was loaded with meat and peppers. They weren't stringy with their cheese either. I did get the cheese wiz on the side because I don't like that. The bun itself was toasted but still chewy. As I wrote this I'm salivating. That good! My bestie and I also tried the buffalo chicken sandwich - it was good, but honestly I don't remember tasting any buffalo sauce - it looked like a standard grilled chicken patty. Compared to the Philly - not an option for me, but I understand not everyone enjoys Philly sandwiches. The seasoned fries were alright, but I'll be back in the future for the Philly specifically. It goes to show you how good they are. I blinked and there was a long line behind me.

Dominick's has been my go-to for a Philly for over 10 years, and they still never miss. The cheesesteak is definitely the star, but the rest of the menu is actually really good too. The pizza was great and the stromboli had an insane cheese pull. Definitely grab the curds and fries with the seasoned sour cream on the side. It's a local staple for a reason.. super consistent and always hits the spot!

We were greeted promptly and seated within just a couple of minutes of walking in. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and very pleasant. She explained the specials and was also happy to accommodate my request for gluten-free bread options, which I really appreciated. My husband ordered our drinks, and since it was happy hour, the bar drinks were offered at some great prices. For dinner, I ordered the Lemon Chicken with Roasted Veggies, while my husband chose the build-your-own baked pasta dish, loaded with plenty of vegetables. The only downside was our table location. We were seated right next to the kitchen door, and every time someone went in or out, the door made a pretty loud bang. It was distracting and a little irritating throughout the meal. Maybe a hydraulic door closer or hinge could help with that? When our food arrived, the portions were generous, everything was hot, and it all looked delicious. My lemon chicken was incredibly flavorful, and those roasted vegetables were absolutely the best! My husband's baked pasta was also packed with flavor, and he loved all the roasted vegetables he added to it. Aside from the noisy kitchen door, another great dinner and experience. We'll definitely be back!

The vodka pasta, kids' noodles, and margherita pizza were all really tasty and definitely the highlights of the meal. Service was a bit slow, and we had several different waiters throughout dinner, which made things a little confusing at times when we needed assistance. Still, the food was enjoyable and we would likely return.
