My husband and I came here for dinner, and as usual, we had another wonderful meal and overall experience! We were greeted promptly and seated within just a couple of minutes of walking in. Our waitress was friendly, helpful, and very pleasant. She explained the specials and was also happy to accommodate my request for gluten-free bread options, which I really appreciated. My husband ordered our drinks, and since it was happy hour, the bar drinks were offered at some great prices. For dinner, I ordered the Lemon Chicken with Roasted Veggies, while my husband chose the build-your-own baked pasta dish, loaded with plenty of vegetables. The only downside was our table location. We were seated right next to the kitchen door, and every time someone went in or out, the door made a pretty loud bang. It was distracting and a little irritating throughout the meal. Maybe a hydraulic door closer or hinge could help with that? When our food arrived, the portions were generous, everything was hot, and it all looked delicious. My lemon chicken was incredibly flavorful, and those roasted vegetables were absolutely the best! My husband's baked pasta was also packed with flavor, and he loved all the roasted vegetables he added to it. Aside from the noisy kitchen door, another great dinner and experience. Visited Andiamo in Eagan and overall had a good experience. The restaurant itself was very clean, spacious, and comfortable. The vodka pasta, kids' noodles, and margherita pizza were all really tasty and definitely the highlights of the meal. Service was a bit slow, and we had several different waiters throughout dinner, which made things a little confusing at times when we needed assistance. With a full parking lot I was excited to dine at Andiamo, however, the meal left me less than impressed. Everything was absolutely bland. The Caesar salad was watery and lacked flavor. The bolognese sauce was oddly sweet but was still bland. The Cajun pasta special didn't have any spice to it. Our server was nice and fairly attentive. We had purchased some gift cards for this restaurant at Costco (amounts to a 20% discount if I remember correctly) and decided to come here to use them. We scored a 1/2 price bottles of wine (a Tuesday special), so our savings were multiplied! The vibe in the restaurant is warm with all of the wood tones. Our waitress was pleasant and welcoming, and was helpful when I inquired about what was popular on the menu. She steered me towards a dish I hadn't had before, Chicken Andiamo, which was absolutely delicious! A lightly breaded chicken filet served with capers and a creamy sauce was fantastic, but for me the star was the side of vegetables (which were cooked to perfection). I can't quite figure out how they were prepared, because I think they were described as roasted, yet they were al dente like when you've had a perfectly steamed veg that is cooked but still crisp. However it was accomplished, I'm a fan. My partner had a perennial favorite, spaghetti and meatballs. We finished with tiramisu, another favorite of mine. We had a great meal! Visited 12/14/24. Okay Andiamo continues to do a really great job while hanging around in Eagan for a long time at maintaining their standards. All staff were incredibly kind and while they felt maybe newer to the restaurant they made up for it in their awesome attitudes! Pros: The complimentary bread! Surefire way to win me over. Also, the happy hour option on a Saturday which you don't see often. Prices are incredibly reasonable and the flavors of everything were solid. Good variety of options without being overwhelming and solid flavor overall. Cons: very minimal just a few polish things like asking if people wanted more fresh parm/pepper mid meal and not following up, difficulties with regularly filling water. Easy things to fix! I selfishly also preferred the bolognese with the fazoletti sheet pasta and while the spaghetti still pleasantly surprised me it didn't hit quite the same. We ordered large quantities of pasta for a family gathering. Great value for the amount of food provided. We especially loved the bolognese sauce. However, we were disappointed with the lack of white sauce we received with the fettuccine Romano. I love a great white sauce pasta, but this tasted more like buttered noodles. This was our second visit and I can now say we have finally found our go-to Italian place after searching for years. Great food (always go for the specials) and amazing service. Food comes out fast and we always feel attended to. Tonight we dined for my daughter's birthday. The waitress brought our ice cream for my daughter, and an extra bowl for her friends free of charge. Then allowed my son to have the same to go with his kids meal. My son left saying it was his new favorite restaurant. Everyone loved it! Plus it was so great having a place the served gluten free options. Oh... and it doesn't cost an arm and a leg to eat at a nice place. Prices of eating out has gotten insane! After attending the MASA dinner seminar at Adiamo Italian Ristorante on Feb. 23, 2026, I was quite disappointed withe the quality of the food and service provided. The server, a Hispanic female with her hair tied, was rarely found in the banquet room, rarely came out to take drink orders or provide any type of accommodations, and seemed to be overwhelmed, even though she only had 17 people to serve and had other servers from the restaurant assisting her. This server needs to keep a sharper eye and watch when guests need something, rather than hanging outside the room the majority of the time. It was quite disappointing to have to wait so long for our salad, which should have been served prior to the main entree rather than afterwards. Bread was not put on the tables until after the dinner was served. This server needs to be better trained as many guests were displeased with her service. Please provide a more accommodating server in the future who can keep a sharp eye on guests' needs. She seemed to be overwhelmed all the time and provided excuses for certain requests made. There always seemed to be a hesitation in her responses to guests' needs. The chicken parmigiano did not taste "Italian-like" but had a strange flavor. It was paper-thin and plastered with "non-Italian-like" sauce. The room ambiance was great along with how nice the temperature of the room was maintained throughout the 2-hour presentation and dinner. Please improve the quality of the service (especially with this server) and this food selection in the future. Your salmon dinner is usually tasty, but please FOCUS on these other major areas of concern or you will lose your regular customers! read more

We came here for an early dinner happy hour, we were at first seated at a table that was wobbly and our waitress happily helped us switch to a new table! We both ordered happy hour drinks, which was a steal for the price! Food was great and service was good. There is a nail salon right next door, so depending on what side you sit on, there are hints of acetone smells but it dissipates pretty quickly! It is not a daily specials card but one that stays on the table. It was hidden under the condiments tray. Service was quick and efficient. The menu is red sauce heavy. Happy hour was in progress and they have discounts on some appetizers and drinks. The bread on the table was very dry. Dip in oil and vinegar to improve. On a gorgeous spring day I was happy to get a patio table. Our server was amazing and bubbly. My companion had an old fashion that he said was tasty as well as a Peroni. I opted for strawberry lemonade which was your standard with strawberry syrup. The calamari appetizer was huge and only $22 during hh. My chicken artichoke pasta was delicious and my guest opted for spaghetti and meatballs. I ordered crème brûlée for desert and while it was delicious probably a bad option on a warm day, it melted quickly. I got parking right in front of the entrance. Arrived 10 minutes before our reservation time and checked in. Staff quickly got our table ready, no problem, we were early and we were a table of 8. Four adults and four children, one who has celiac. I heard the manager send a wait staff home, big mistake. Saying we received 'poor' service is being generous. When we finally got to order, she took the order from half the table and then asked if anyone else wanted to order. Uh yeah, like the rest of the table would. When the food finally came out, they didn't have the gluten free order. Our server was MIA for a lot of our time there. I watched the manager on duty tell the waitress where her section was, twice. She was actually very bubbly but not attentive at all. We had to get our own to-go boxes and asked twice for the check. The red sauce on the pasta had little seasoning and tasted like the can it came out of. I am NOT looking to be comped in any way because I have no desire to ever go back. This was the Eagan location and we went on a Sunday at 5:30. They were busy and I then questioned why the manager would send someone home when they clearly needed help. The service was great, and everything from the ambiance to the meal makes you feel like your at a true Italian restaurant. When it comes to the food, the pasta dishes are to die for. The Shrimp Arrabiatta is loaded with meaty shrimp and a combination of olives that gives the dish such a great acidic flavor. The Pasta Alla Basilica had a great balance of flavors and textures covered in a rich creamy sauce. With such great food what pulled everything together for me was The Godfather cocktail. A drink that has strong flavors, but in the same way does not burn your throat. My only drawback of the night was the Caprese Salad and the Blackberry Old Fashioned. The Caprese Salad was good, but I expected more then what we got for $12. The Blackberry Old Fashioned was too muddled and made the drink too filthy. I was unable to enjoy the drink without eating blackberry seeds every sip. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at Andiamo and would definitely come back to enjoy more Italian cuisine! read more

The calamari was some of the best we've ever had. The marinara sauce was just too good with it! The drinks were on point as well! I ordered the white sangria and bacon carbonara. The sauces were soooo good on the pasta and didn't seem too heavy and fake from a jar. I liked the bite I had of my hubby's and I don't even like mushrooms. Our server was top notch and friendly as could be. I just thought maybe they'd do a free dessert to go or something special for it being our wedding anniversary, maybe even seating us at a nice private booth, and not a little table in the middle of all the action especially since I reserved a month in advance. So disappointed!! We celebrated Valentine's Day this year here, 2026. We were seated in what appeared to be a side banquet room. Lights on full, leftover dusty Christmas ornaments still hanging from the ceiling, THUMPA THUMPA music blaring out the speakers, no candles, no table clothe, ZERO attempt at any kind of romance or atmosphere. We ordered Aperol Spritz, bruschetta, a side salad (wasn't included with the scallops dish), chicken parmigiana and scallops on crab and shrimp risotto. Cocktails were well made and delicious. Lacking the orange garnish. The bruschetta (along with all the food that was delivered with no effort at plate presentation) was the tomato mix dumped in a bowl along with a few slices of dry grilled bread. The side salad was cold and had good flavor. The chicken parmigiana was a disaster. The salad that came with the entree was served on the same plate as the lone chicken breast topped with sauce and cheese. A cold salad served with the hot entree on the same plate is unacceptable. Even the very mediocre Olive Garden doesn't do that. The scallops dish was fair. Scallops were well prepared. The crab and shrimp risotto lacked any evidence of either shrimp or crab. The dish was topped what looked and tasted like dried out long sliced green onions. At no point was fresh ground pepper or Parmesan cheese offered. Desperately lacking atmosphere, only adequate service and well below food quality we will not be returning here or recommend Andiamo to anyone. read more

Tonight we had a group of 10 family members at Andiamo's in Eagan to celebrate some birthdays. The food was fantastic, and the service was excellent. Our server was Molly and she really cared about our table, including our two toddlers we had at the table. We made reservations ahead of time and our table was waiting for us when we arrived.
