I went to Reds the other day for an alignment issue after replacing my tires (steering wheel shake, ended up not being my alignment at all). When I first called the store, I was greeted super nicely and the staff was super nice. She told me that the shop was open and I was able to come immediately and told me that they would take care of me. When I got there, I broke a part of my bumper and the shop staff lended me tools to fix it, which I greatly appreciated. I got my car situated on the lift and one of the mechanics started aligning my car while I focused on my own stuff. I wanted him to align my car to specific specs that I had provided him, but mainly wanted to adjust my rear wheel's toe since it was off by a lot. For an alignment, the job took longer than normal, which might be an issue regarding their work or simply because my car's alignment is complicated; for this reason, I wouldn't blame it entirely on the shop. It took about an hour and a half to fully finish the job and when I got my alignment paper, I noticed that my alignment specs were barely even close to what I wanted (see pictures I attached below). The camber and caster were barely touched despite me telling him to adjust it exactly to the previous specs. However, they solved my main issue which was the toe so I guess they solved it. I was also only quoted for $55, which isn't bad for an alignment at all; the reason I was charged so low might relate to how some of my other specs were not touched at all, but who knows. When I went to pay, the lady who was cashiering (different from the first person I talked to) was slightly moody which was off-putting. I tried to make small talk and she basically just ignored me, not really anything to fret over but a response would have been nice . My overall experience here was lack luster, there were definitely good aspects to the shop, but also its downsides. read more

I would not recommend this shop to no one they had my classic car held up for over 3 years took the engine out never install it back in the owner always had excuses owner is just a bad business person his shop is only good for fixing flats a doing wheel ailments plus my window got broken out while sitting in his shop. Yeah this is a bullshit shop. Don,t even come here. Im not even playing when I say it took them 2 hours to change 2, I repeat 2 fucking tires on my car. After I needed a alighted, the guy who did the alignment literally took 10 mins not giving a single fuck. Also, a guy came at the same time as me in I think a 69 classic mustang, and what it looked like is he needed ahocks replace. BRO, this kid took off the chrome rim covers and litteraly dropped them on the floor face down making a loud bang in fromt of the owner! And im not even plying it took the same amout of time I was there to take of one, I repeat one fucking shock off! Thats not all, the boy literally torqued the wrong nut and broke a bot off the new shock! So, im leaving now after like 2.5 hours and they charged me $60 for a 10 min alignment.l and for the 69mustang guy, they gonna "warranty it out" and put back the old shocks. Yeah gmfu. We took our classic car in and had to take it back 5 times for the same thing. I even told them what I thought was wrong and they did everything else but that. Finally picked it up and waited 6 hours there at the shop for them to finally fix it. Had to get it towed home cause they didn't tighten my bolts and my tire was coming off. They took my dads classic car apart and had it for 3 years, they broke my dads window out, he switched out parts in my dads car and put bad parts in / every time he would ask about it he would have an excuse about why it wasn't done like saying he had no mechanic "allegedly " they cut wires when they took the engine out, he wouldn't answer the phone without a known caller ID and when he would go there, he would stay in the bathroom for three hours, waiting on him to come out, I would not recommend no one to bring your classic car there or any engine work/ they're only good for fixing flats read more

Took my 2016 Scion FR-S for a alignment and one of the workers said my engine mounts were loose. So I said hmm that's weird can we check. Once we went in the shop I told him the engine mounts are fine and proceeded to show him the engine mounts. He then pointed to a completely different part which is the hood latch subframe. Then tried to ask if i wanted him to fix it. I told him no and after that no one helped me. My car was still on the rack after they told me the alignment was finished and I paid. After 30 minutes of waiting I went inside and drove my car off the rack with the guidance of another worker. First 5 miles were fine then bam car started pulling the wheel was off center once again. These guys are great! I got my catalytic converter changed here and it was a way better deal. The Nissan stealership in Orange tried to rip me off bad and was trying to have me swap out two O2 sensors near the catalytic converter that I didn't need to change out. I got my transmission replaced here too. Was lower than several quotes I got from Nissan stealership in Tustin and other mechanics in the South OC area. Red's shop is the best you're going to get. I came in on memorial day weekend when every other place was either closed or lacking an experienced mechanic until Tuesday. My alternator randomly crapped out, I was far from home, everyone was closed, but Red had no problem taking care of it right away. His shop is clean and well organized with top quality equipment. His service is top tier and most importantly HONEST. He's not going to try and fool people into getting things they don't need or misdiagnose when he could be wrong. What you'll get is outstanding service for a fair price. Simple! Last week my car overheated on the highway next to Riverside Carlos agreed for me to come in even though I called 10 minuets before they were gonna close the shop for the day. He and a couple of his men helped me with my car till 2 hrs later, and offered me to stay inside in the cold. As we waited for the radiator and rest of coolant system to be checked we shared drinks, food and memorable conversations about our lives and this party under the bridge in Bloomington. They figured out my coolant was leaking a bit because the radiator cap did not have enough pressure, so they gave me a replacement. They didn't charge me anything and offered for me to still come back the next morning and get the coolant system and engine rechecked. Save your money and your time this place is terrible lack of communication between there boss and there employees i took my car in on Sunday so there Business hours on Sunday say they open at 10am i got there 10am some employees & customers were there waiting for the boss to get there to open the business the boss didn't get there till 10:30 a.m. still when he gets there still stays in his car about 10 more minutes Until he sees there are customers waiting there I took my car in for a misfire one of the employees told me he would check it as soon as I can I went back on Monday to check on the status of my car they say there were going to be open business was never open went Tuesday I asked the owner whose employee working on my vehicle he said he should of been back from lunch already The employee didn't show up until another 20 minutes later I told them that I had gone Monday he told me some employees went and some didn't so they were short on staff And had to close the shop So I told the employe who was working on my car If they had check my car or done anything to it he said no and he lied because it look like there were trying to turn it on because there were all your finger prints all over my driver side Fender Power steering fluid all over the place I just wanted to leave already but I need it some tires Literally took about another hour to put 2 tires on When they go to Jack up my car To change the tires One of the employees lift up the car On my brake lines I told him to stop to look at what hes doing he said he gets nervous when hes working on cars So I had to later new go on the floor adjust the Jack and then told him to lift it And then when he was Tightening the lug nuts he was using the wrong socket and to another employee came have flipped a socket over because he was doing it all wrong and then he tells me that there mechanic sucks and is lazy and that last week he forgot to tighten Some other customers lug nuts and was lucky he spotted owl but the car was already driving out the baseness honestly by far the worst place I've ever been to Sorry to say this but I will never go back read more
