    Charcuterie plate

This place is awesome!! I went here for happy hour with a friend and it has a nice ambience. The waiter that checked on us throughout the night was very attentive and made sure we were good on our wine and food. He also was very helpful with helping us figure out our charcuterie board. The cab I had and the wine flight we had was delicious! It was very enjoyable and it all tasted very smooth. The charcuterie plate was amazing!! Everything on there was great and there was a good amount of everything on it. I'm definitely coming back!!

Most people probably wouldn't even notice, but there needs to be a lot more emphasis on the quality of the food. The good points. My friend's tacos were great, the broccoli appetizer was very tasty and had a fair amount of heat and my glass of Riesling was really nice. That said, truffle popcorn had no truffle taste whatsoever, the crab dip was pretty nondescript, I ordered the creamy chicken penne but with linguine and the chicken was supposed to be sauteed, but tasted like it had been cooked earlier and then reheated in the microwave. I picked out every piece of chicken because the taste was just not good. Luckily I wait person was kind enough to take that off the bill but I would have rather had a dish that I enjoyed. There were only a few specs of sun-dried tomato but big pieces of onion. I know the cheesecake was from Cash and Carry but the crust was a soggy mess and the touted chocolate sauce was Hershey's syrup from a can. Three of us wanted the cauliflower soup but they were out and wasn't getting it back in for a number of days. Please take it off the menu if it's not going to be there to order.

I love Reds, my go to spot at Kent Station. Friendly service, good food and great wine! The truffle popcorn and mushroom bruschetta is amazing!

Cool little wine bar in Kent! The vibe inside is really cool and the flights of wine are quite fun to try! I've been here a couple times now. Once was for an event and once was just to check out the restaurant. Both times I had amazing service, great wine, and felt like I was getting a great deal for the $. Perfect spot to discover new great wineries!

I frequent this place on and off whenever I'm in the mood for some wine. They have a wonderful selection and can make excellent recommendations. They also do have 4 craft beers rotating on tap. This place is on the Southernmost far end of Kent Station. Parking is easy and it's easy to get in and out of. There's usually trvia on Tuesdays, wine tasting on Wednesdays, and live music on Saturdays starting at 8pm. I always get excellent service every time I have frequented this place. I usually order appetizers to go with wine but the last time I came here, we had ordered dinner. The food was delicious and the servings are perfect. The ambiance is very relaxing. It's a small venue but the way it is laid out, it is quite spacious. Highly recommended if you're in the Kent area.

Tim does an outstanding job. He knows his wines and their appetizers are awesome. You have to have Reds Platter.

Nice little wine bar for the neighborhood. Wish they rotated their beer taps a bit. Overall, great find. Love Trivia Tuesdays.

Has Reds reopen? Since the decision in April when they closed?

Yes, Reds is currently open 7 days a week from 3pm-9pm or so.

I it 21 & over only? The food looks amazing! But sometimes people have children or babies and I wanted to know if they could eat there also.

Bar seating is 21 and over, however all are welcome to dine at the dining room tables. As mentioned by another poster, while all are welcome, we do not specialize or often cater to children or babies.

    Are children allowed?

I wouldn't think so It's definitely a great spot for grown ups to relax with a nice wine and tapas. It's a cozy intimate atmosphere. Might want to get a sitter for a date night.

We kicked things off with the truffle popcorn--my go-to starter here. Light, warm, and perfectly kissed with truffle oil. Not greasy, just addictive enough to keep reaching in between sips of wine. Then we ordered the artichoke cheese dip. Warning: it arrives piping hot (our server kindly gave us the heads up). We dug in anyway and immediately learned patience is a virtue here. Once cooled, it's gooey, creamy, and totally worth the wait. And because conversations just kept flowing, we added the meatballs to the table. Hearty, flavorful, and the perfect "something more" to balance the lighter bites. Service was spot-on--attentive enough to make sure we had everything we needed but never intrusive. I also love how this spot works for so many moods: girls' night, solo bar hangs, or even patio time with pups. Overall: cozy, versatile, and always a solid pick when you want to sip, snack, and chat the night away.

As for the wine, whatever house savignon blanc they offered us was delicious. The salads were good. The pastas less so. One was a spaghetti with meatballs. The balls were good, the spaghetti was mush. The other was chicken Alfredo which tasted like a frozen meal. We also had two cakes to choose from for dessert but I didn't have any. The staff was nice and I understand it's hard to manage such a big group but they tried hard.

Opened in October of 2023, the space is the official tasting room of the Drum Roll Winery owned by Sundee and Matt Frazier who have been make local Washington since 2016. The space is cozy and open to the public for tastings of all their award winning offerings. Backstage Blanc? A Columbia Valley Chardonnay Monet? How about their 2024 Gold Award winning Seurat Syrah? It's there. I had their popular and bubbly Starry White, which earned the 2025 Gold Award in the Boston Wine Competition. The best part, all wines are reasonably priced and definitely approachable for all palates. Drum Roll does have a wine club that you can easily sign-up for that qualifies you for special events! The tasting room also boasts different sized spaces available for rent for your personal and business event, making it a great place for friends to gather. I have been a Drum Roll fan for YEARS now and was so excited to watch their tasting room come to life. My first encounter with them was at the Issaquah Wine Walk like 6-8 years ago (it's hard to pinpoint) and Matt, one of the co-owners, was so personable and nice. The added bonus was that the wine was delicious. So when I discovered they were opening a tasting room in Renton, I was so ecstatic. They've been open for a year or two now and they are flourishing! The space is creatively curated and speaks to the owners and their family so well. It's kid-friendly and pup-friendly which makes this really a very welcoming spot in the downtown area. They don't carry food, but they do have snacks. But more importantly, they have delicious wine (duh). Over the years, my favorite has stayed constant - their white blend! They've never made a wine I haven't liked, but their white blend is a guaranteed classic that I can crack open for myself, or at family dinners, and know it's going to be a hit. Sundee and Matt (the power duo behind the Drum Roll brand) are truly wonderful, welcoming humans and this is such a bright piece of Renton. Do yourself a favor and mosey in for a sip or two!

We came by after happy hour at Anthony's and listened to a live set of great music. The place was packed, but everyone is friendly and was willing to share their table with us. So, don't repeat my mistake.

I stopped by while visiting Seattle and while the food situation was a bit chaotic (they had rotating menus because they were out of a few items), I ended up ordering a kimchi-inspired sandwich that I wanted to love...but it just didn't do it for me. Not inedible, maybe a 2/5, but I'd definitely try something else next time. My friend ordered what I think was the Garden Harvest Wrap (a staple on the menu), and that was more of a 3/5. Both dishes were served cold (intentionally), which I think made a difference, I could totally see them being much better if they were warm. Now let's talk about what is worth it: the mimosa flight. SO good. Like dangerously easy to sit there, sip through all of them, and forget any minor food disappointments. But honestly, the real star here is the ambiance. You're right on the water with the most effortless, breezy, coastal energy. Boats drifting by, sun hitting just right, people lingering over drinks--it's giving main character energy in the best way. I found myself wanting to stay way longer than planned and even doing some work while there. This is absolutely a spot I'd come back to, just with a strategy: eat before or after, and come here to sip, sit by the water, and take a little walk on the dock. 5 stars for the vibes alone

When you make reservations a week or more in advance but then when you show up (party of 4) get sat in the bar, this is immediately a red flag and a big miss. 2.
