Robin, with her passion for fitness, welcoming personality, and fun approach to getting each individual thru a class, is a star. No one session is the same as the next. I do 3 classes a week and get a full body and cardio workout from her huge array of simple to follow exercises. Amazing what a workout you can get in 30 minutes with a chair and a single 8lb weight. I'd been dragging and looking for a good total body workout that wasn't an endurance competition or some fad. This is good old fashioned exercise done with the purpose of getting you fit and enjoying it while you are doing it. It's the best combination. And not easy to do.

You never have to deal with "shared" equipment like at a gym and not being able to use the equipment you need as part of your program because it's being used. The only area of the business that could use an improvement is the lack of a good app or web based appointment management system. The mindbody integration is a bit half-baked... Would be really good to have an app that shows exactly when my sessions are scheduled, which time slots are available if I want to re-schedule, and how many session credits are left on my account.

The worst I've seen is you can't use one machine for 1-2 mins. Very good classes/instructors. They have recently added a bunch of the Les Mills classes (Bodycombat, bodypump) The only knock I have is the evening classes start at 6:30. I'd like them earlier or later. I like price is right for what you get. It isn't the low cost option but if you want to take classes it is a great place and a good value. The place is a typical suburban gym a mix of meatheads, highschooler, mothers, retirees, and middle aged parents. No one group dominate the place. You can see yourself when you go here. The one negative is the men's bathroom. While not the worst gym I've seen, it could use more frequent cleanings and more ventilation.

I was looking for someone who would work with my 14 year-old brother on the 5x5 program that his school had assigned for the upcoming soccer session. Filipe was fantastic. He modified the program to better fit my brother's soccer needs and was incredibly patient and down-to-earth. My brother worked with him for about 8 weeks (roughly 3x a week)and felt huge difference during tryouts. The facility is brand new and well equipped plus Filipe's pricing is incredibly reasonable. You pay as you go and there is no need to sign up for an annoying gym membership. Here is what my brother has to say about his time with Filipe: Filipe not only helped me to become a stronger person but a more determined one, as his deep knowledge of fitness combined with his welcoming personality and unending patience created an environment of hard work and perseverance. His emphasis on proper form taught me the importance of not only the weight of what I was lifting but the technique I was using to lift that weight. Additionally, Filipe did not judge me but rather encouraged me to keep going when I made mistakes, giving me pointers to do so, all leading me to not only obtaining the strength I needed but the knowledge and work ethic to continue to develop. So in closing, Filipe's knowledge and understanding of fitness not only create a friendly environment to work out in but a mindset centered on hard work and dedication. I am unbelievably grateful that I found Burning Wheel - it is exactly what I needed. I hadn't…read morepracticed yoga regularly in over five years, but it's all coming back like riding a bike because of the nurturing and welcoming instruction and environment. I've never cared for hot yoga before, but I love the hot classes at Burning Wheel. The lighting system is state of the art; the instruction is phenomenal; the environment is better than any other I've experienced - I just can't say enough positive about this studio.

I am an out of shape older guy who isn't very limber and has some other physical limitations but all the instructors have been great at helping me find movement and poses that I can do. The facility is quite nice with showers available. There is a wide variety of different classes and times that have provided a great amount of choice for my practice. I have improved so much that I am now comfortable in any of the classes. The best part is how the leaders challenge even the people with well developed practices and help us learners as well.
