Two months ago, I acquired a Mercury Sable and it already had a remote starter that was weak (I work at Global Foundries, formerly IBM in Essex). The remote started in my driveway, but not at work where I was separated by 500 feet from my car and six panes of glass and two concrete walls. I had Yipes install a mid-range remote starter that did just the trick. A two-way unit (it not only starts your car, it lets you know your car successfully started) that I paid $500 for, and it was the best $500 I ever spent! If you live in Central Vermont and you are fed up with Siberian cold weather impounding your vehicle, go to Yipes in Barre. Have them install a Compustar remote starter and sleep well tonight!

According to Kyle, the business automatically sets the car starter for 15 mins. This is done without asking the consumer. I mentioned before purchase that I wanted 20 mins. After expressing my concern regarding the run time, Kyle was very rude and said 15 mins 20 mins whats the difference? The difference is 5 mins and that his name is not on my paycheck. When asked to reset the time, Kyle was not willing to make the change. I was made to feel as if it was my fault for not asking more questions. Spoke with Yipes owner and he was willing to accommodate a change request; however, expressed no empathy for the less than positive interaction I experienced with salesperson Kyle. I did not feel comfortable returning to Yipes in Williston for any further service. Do not recommend Yipes in Williston VT. The salesperson at Yipes in Plattsburg NY was more helpful and friendly. Also the Yipes in NY is less expensive. Note: My request to extend the run time was a very easy request and took less than a half hour to make the change.

Would not recommend doing business with them, unless you enjoy being belittled. I may be naive about this subject matter, I understand that, but the flippant attitude and rude remarks were not going to convince me, or anyone else for that matter, to spend the "$800 minimum" he demanded for a camera installation at his place of business.
