Located in the Oriental Market, the ordering process through kiosks was easy. I appreciate the lactose free and dairy free milk options for their drinks! The drinks were not overly sweetened. We ordered the mango lychee and cantaloupe lychee drinks. We chose 50 percent sweetness which was not sweet enough so next time we will go with at least 75 percent. Boba texture was inconsistent: chewy in one drink, soft in another. The bubble waffle with boba had a nice crispness but the boba didn't add much. The Korean corn dog was small but tasty. The service was friendly and the staff asked questions to make sure the order was correct. Reejoy is a counter with no seating right around it, but there is seating around the hot foods area of Oriental market. Parking was not too difficult on a Saturday in the lot. read more

I was really craving some matcha and happened to be at the Oriental Market, so I decided to try the ube foam matcha. I love both ube and matcha, so I definitely had to get it. I was also on the lookout for the best takoyaki, and I couldn't resist that either. The ube matcha was amazing! However, the takoyaki was just alright. I was quite hungry at the time and wanted something to snack on, but it didn't have much octopus in it. I have been here a couple times and I just wanted to point out that the drinks are good. However, customer service is extremely lacking. There is one lady who works there who was very rude. For example, I ordered 3 drinks and asked for a drink carrier. She angrily replied: "A drink carrier? For 3 drinks?" WELL I DON'T HAVE 3 HANDS! So, yes, a drink carrier would have been nice. In another instance, I asked for an extra straw. She rudely gave me a lecture about how she already gave me a straw in front of other customers. Irritatedly, she handed me a straw in the end. At this point, I was fed up. Didn't want my drink anymore. I understand that some people have off days, but I experienced the same treatment twice. The woman with the glasses is very kind. Reejoy is inside Oriental Market, an Filipino/Asian supermarket in Roseville. It is not open year round, they are rarely open on the colder season. There was only two people ahead of us on a Sunday afternoon. We ordered two drinks and takoyaki. The drinks are about $7 by default and when you add different milk/toppings its approximately.50-.75 more. With tax and everything our order went up to $28. You can lower sweetness down to 25%. The takoyaki was good, not anything special. The drinks are good and the boba was chewy. I believe they use fresh ingredients for the fruity blended flavors. The store attendant gave a bit of attitude to us when we had trouble paying on the kiosk and kept repeating that I was pressing the credit button which is why its not working and came up to me and looked at it herself then unplugged it and told me to pay at the other one instead. It came off a bit rude in my opinion, and when I came back to check on my order and took photos for my review, she had a complete mood and personality change. This place is my wife and I's favorite bubble Tea/Boba drink place. They use real fruit and vegetables in their drinks. They also have several choices of milks for those who can't have or don't like some milks. They have a large variety of flavors (more than most of the other places out there). Not much in service, they have 2 kiosk screens where you place and pay for your order. Now the thing is this place is in an Asian grocery market, the Oriental Market in Roseville off of Harding. The great thing is you can go grab a few things and purchase them as you wait for your drinks to be made. Not much of a ambience it's a rectangular cubicle that has an opening in the middle where they put your drinks when they're done making them. Again not much in service but the drinks are great. The Strawberry Smoothie was made with real strawberries, and you can definitely taste it. Smoothies and boba drinks! Not all halo-halos are created equal (I've tasted some not-so-delightful ones) but I've always enjoyed their halo halo here at Reejoy. I haven't tried anything else from their wide selection of smoothies and milk teas other than the halo halo. The ube ice-cream on top and the slice of leche flan adds to a delicious touch to the cold dessert. The only thing I don't like is the coconut. They put a lot of it, I always forget to tell them to hold the slivers of "buko." I know, I've heard it before. How could I not like coconut when I'm from the islands. The answer is I don't know... I just don't like it. Anyway, I digress, the service is always fast and the employees here are nice and friendly. This little smoothie station is located inside Oriental Market immediately to your left as you enter the store. There is seating available. Please note: This review is specifically for the "Milk Tea with Boba" (the classic style I used to get when I lived in Taiwan). The best damn boba around. The boba itself is soft and flavorful, and the milk tea is spot-on (I should know, I lived in Taiwan for a time). The drink comes in a clear plastic cup with a sealed plastic top, which allows for proper shaking. This helps mix the boba and tea, and also cools the boba at the bottom--something that's commonly needed in Taiwan--before you pierce the top with your straw. The automated ordering system is efficient, just as good as any other in the area. There is no real ambiance, and no comfortable place to wait for your drink, but I can't take off a star for that since the product is simply superior. Yes, it's more of a kiosk than a full boba shop, but it's well worth standing in a grocery aisle for a few moments while your drink is made, just to enjoy the amazing boba tea. P.S. I don't know what the 3-star reviews are about. This place had a worker shortage for a while, which is why they weren't open--not because of the "cold season." read more

This place was new inside the Oriental Market. I could not say not to boba so I gave it a try! The marketing on the stand states they use fresh fruits which was a plus for me! It size of the drink was larger than the regular sized boba drinks. I tried the watermelon lychee with boba. The boba was spot on-- sweet and fresh. The only problem was that the actual smoothie part was more bland and seems more icy that tasting the flavors. I was bummed... THIS IS THE BEST BOBA PLACE EVER. I have a 2 year old and love that I don't feel guilty to give her one of these drinks knowing that they're made with 100% REAL FRUIT. You can taste the difference in these drinks. All the other boba chains use powder in their smoothies but using real fruit makes Reejoy the real winner. Overall pretty good! Place is kind of difficult to find as it is located inside an Oriental Market. I jut discovered this place today as it was in the way on the way home. It tasted good and they give loads of boba. My 1st choice is still Lollicup. The reason behind that is that their milk tea tastes a lot like "Chai" (which isn't a bad thing) but the almond flavor was very mild. At Lollicup you can taste the almond more than the tea. Another aspect worth comparing was price: it's about 15-18% higher, which means just a few cents like .80-$1.00. You don't get the option of choosing a regular or a large you just get a large for $5/- something. It's a mental thing for us humans when you get a drink $3.99 we're thinking $3/- not 4. So I like to stay under $5/- ordering a drink, that's just me though. Overall yes, I would return but if I have the choice, then I would go to Lollicup. read more

My absolute favorite boba place! Though they are a lot of the times out of mango, they had it in stock on Tuesday so I was super stoked. The only sad part was that they were out of coconut.
