I ended up with creases I didn't have prior. My eyes ended up sagging down. I called them. They wanted me to come in a second time. I did only made the situation worse ended up with the crease now between my eyes and they only gave me a partial refund on my lips. They offered to have me come in a third time I said I no longer trust you I want my money back. Verbally said they would never did I then showed up to their office three times they were never in sent me up to a different location. Spoke to a manager who said oh we certainly don't want small claims or a Yelp or Better Business Bureau and we will get back to you as soon as possible and no one ever did. I am still fighting them this need they need to go out of business. They're awful.

I've felt like facial massage has become a lost art lately, and often times estheticians are so focused on gadgets/tools/lights/etc that the soothing benefits of manual facial massage have fallen by the wayside. I was so so pleased when Carla give me a wonderful face/neck/shoulder massage while under the LightStim. It felt wonderful and it gave the impression that she cared about her clients relaxation in addition to results. So when it was time for the mask, I hoped she would continue that level of warmth and she did. She did a hand/arm massage while I masked, and that was so nice too. I've had so many technicians either do their dishes during that time or leave the room completely and I appreciated her care for the full treatment. Her products were all great quality, facility was clean, I was offered water and never felt rushed. It genuinely feels like Carla cares for her clients, and sadly I think that's not always the case (especially in LA). I left feeling relaxed and refreshed and had a healthy glow. Thanks Carla! It's tucked away off the street a little so it was very nice and quiet inside Lulur Spa! Only negative is parking can be a little tricky in the area, it's right on the busy part of Robertson (but near a bunch of the Vanderpump Rules landmarks if you're a fan!) so give yourself extra time for parking.

Part of my plan to fix the problem included regular deep cleaning facials (along with better diet/exercise/supplements/etc) During the first year, Carla noticeably decreased cystic breakouts overall, along with the scarring marks I had along my jawline/cheeks (caused by those breakouts). She put me on a new facial regime using iS Clinical products - which I continue to adhere to religiously to this day. Basically, she helped my skin recover from a traumatic 2 years of hormonal acne. Today, I RARELY breakout. I can't even remember the last cystic blemish I've had - it's that seldom. During the service, everything was great until we got to extractions. After already going past 15 minutes, I was told there would be an additional $50 charge for "extra" extractions. This was not clearly disclosed beforehand, and I felt put on the spot to agree since the service was already in progress. The final total came out to $400. After the facial, I was shown "premium" products and told the total would be around $1,000, which had never been discussed. I explained that I could only afford around $500, and I was considering a selection of products within that range. However, when I asked whether one item, specifically an SPF, was necessary, the tone shifted. I was told there was no point in continuing to go over products if I was not going to purchase anything and that we "were not a good fit," to which I agree, but not because I asked questions or was unwilling to buy. As a result, I chose not to purchase anything and canceled the next appointment. I left feeling dismissed and unwelcome. As a young client still in college, I would have expected a more understanding and respectful approach rather than pressure. Overall, the lack of professionalism made this an uncomfortable experience.
