We saw Song Sung Blues, scheduled for three forty five p.m! Power outage. There was repeated announcement of Emergency, Please Proceed To The Nearest Exits! Yes every followed the instructions! I want to commend your employees and I want to commend your volunteers! They in my own opinion, they did an excellent job to be sure all Guests if Guests is correct word, were evacuated in an orderly way! Eventually all the Guests were able to return to the respective auditoriums to finish seeing their different movies. My auditorium for Song Sung Blues had fifty four Guests! LOVED this theater! It has a nostalgic vibe and very nice employees. We will happily be going back to visit for future movie features. Also, noticed a silly comment from a previous visitor. As movie goers we should all understand that movie times are "delayed" due to previews. Please, Just adjust your arrival time if you don't want to sit thru them. It's not the local independent theatres fault that previews are so long. They are just trying to make it possible for us to enjoy films - be nice to them. read more

This has to be one of the best regal theatres we have visited within the scope of our regal subscription. Why? Let me begin by telling you this story. First of all we live in Elk Grove California south of Sacramento. Why of all places did we come here? Bc my better half said there's a movie being shown only at this particular location. An indie film to be exact. I drove an hour to get here despite running errands in the process so we managed to get here just in time. Parking spots were numerous. Yay! We didn't have to stand in line as we just went to the computer terminal area by the refreshments to purchase our tickets via our membership card in our Regal app. The satellite dish was a little slow but finally came through to get us our tickets. The gal employee explained that thankfully! We proceeded to the theater room although my wife needed to use the ladies room which she said was all good & clean. The seats here were stadium just like the ones at Natomas but we have a particular spot where we favor to sit at so not such a big deal like for some people & that was the only reason for one star less. After leaving this short real life movie a man approached my wife & asked how she liked the movie. Come to find out he was the producer of the film! We talked for a bit & he gave us one of the last posters signed by the real life actor & took a video of us too. My wife did all of the talking of course! LOL It certainly was an amazing surprise & doesn't always happen! Maybe too we watch numerous amounts of movies too. Will we be back? Possibly. read more

Went to see Beatlejuice 2 last night with the fam. Had to catch a later show (8:25 was the posted time) because of life, but we were all looking forward to it. Rushed to get there on time. Yes I was kind of a butt head dad moving people along. Got to our seats at about 8:20. I was surprised there was nothing on the screen yet. Usually they have a bunch of commercials on. 8:25 and the screen starts up but it's not previews it commercials. Like 40 min of commercials! No joke! And then 10-15 min of previews. 55 min before the actual movie started. That's BS! One family sitting behind us flat out left. Clearly they thought the movie would start at least close to 8:25, but no they left with sad kids at 9:15. Just be honest. Thats all I ask. I'm not buying any of the crap you're advertising, so don't trick me into watching the commercials. Please. But... theater is clean. Staff is nice. Three stars. read more

Had a big gut-busting "laugh a minute" while watching Project Hail Mary with my two sons. Timothy & Blake Perry! The theater was hot to begin with. But, after another movie goer complained to management about it being too frigging hot in theater 5, they immediately turned on the air conditioning. I am very hot blooded & only wore my sandals, shorts & a thin tank top. But it was roasting, before the air conditioning was turned on. I'd like to publicly acknowledge the very kind & sweet girl behind the concession stand who waited on me, when I purchased a nice, tall, cool lemonade for Blake. Her name is "Brie" & she ALWAYS is sweet, helpful & kind, whenever I am at Auburn Regal Stadium 10! Kudos and accolades to "Brie" or "Bree"!! 5 STARS Bree/Brie simply ROCKS! read more

We've been to this theater in the past, and have enjoyed the experience. So we were excited to return for the showing of Spinal Tap II: The End Continues. I purchased tickets online for the 2:40 p.m. showtime. We bought the obligatory over-priced drinks and snacks and settled into our seats. At the conclusion of the trailers, a movie began. But it wasn't Spinal Tap. We went to the lobby and told them that they'd directed us to the wrong theater room. We were told that Spinal Tap wasn't playing at 2:40 p.m. I had to ask them to fish my printed ticket voucher out of the trash, to prove that I had indeed purchased tickets for a 2:40 p.m. showing of Spinal Tap. One of the fellows behind the counter apologized, promptly refunded our money and offered that we could watch any other movie for free while we were there. But someone should have realized that the movie we'd come to watch wasn't actually playing, even though we had a receipt showing that we'd paid for a 2:40 p.m. showing of that movie. We wouldn't have bought the snacks or hung out watching trailers. We'd have just gone home--which is 30 miles away from the theater. It seems the person in charge of scheduling movie showings arbitrarily cancelled the 2:40 p.m. showing of Spinal Tap II in favor of a different film, disregarding the fact that people had already paid to see Spinal Tap at 2:40 p.m. Bottom line, they should not have sold tickets for a movie that wasn't being shown. read more

Well, I don't know what has happened to this Auburn regal theater in the last year, but his went downhill. I love it has the arcade. and the food is decent popcorn at least extra salty now the hotdogs have some packages of ketchup, mustard, and relish. Most of the time it's empty. The counters are dirty. The bathroom stalls ate out of 12 of them have no toilet paper with pee on the toilet the area where they're serving food is full of popcorn on a slow busy weekday night There was no napkins in either side of the condiment station a little boy let the person know at the desk, older gal with long wavy hair and glasses. She came over took a dry napkin, smeared the soda on the counter, and then put the napkin away no cleaning with water rags . It's just really dirty. Does not feel clean here anymore. The movie was fine. It started on time. it's just kind of a bummer. I'll probably head up to Grass Valley get a hotdog with real onions and sauerkraut get a theater with toilet paper in the bathrooms. Doesn't take that much time to check a bathroom once an hour maybe one bathroom without toilet paper, but seven that's pretty crazy And everybody moves like slow zombies read more

I usually like this cinema but I came to watch Nosforatu and a couple sat behind me. They drank white claws, loudly burped, made full-volume comments all throughout the movie, and on top of everything, obnoxiously laughed at every dramatic, significant scene. Of course it's not the cinema's fault, but when I confronted them, they told me that they "come here all of the time", so I won't be returning. read more

RESERVED SEATING HAS RUINED THIS MOVIE THEATER. I used to show up, buy my tickets outside, walk inside, buy snacks, then head to my seat. Easy. Now, I have to show up and wait in a loooong line out to the door. Then I buy my tickets and snacks at the same time (way less efficient). Then when I get to my seat, someone is always sitting in it and I have to be the one to ask them to leave - the employees will not do it and will actually encourage you to sit in another seat. WHAT? Then why did I reserve in the first place? They inconvenience me to reserve and then I have a worse experience after with something that is actually supposed to benefit me. And dont get me started about buying online - I will not pay any "convenience fees" as they keep adding on more to charge me for. I am tired of and done with it. My daughter went there tonight to see the Taylor Swift concert showing. She paid $40 for 2 tickets on their website, even picked their seats. They took time off work, got dressed up, even made bracelets to trade. When they arrived they were told there was something wrong with their tickets because there was no showing for that time, which makes no sense because those tickets have been available for sale on their website all week. She was super disappointed!!! She asked if she could at least buy the limited edition Taylor Swift popcorn bucket & was told by the manager that she could either have her $40 refunded OR get the popcorn bucket. So she left with no movie & no popcorn bucket because she didn't want to pay $40 for f'n popcorn!! Seriously the worst customer service EVER!!! What a freaking JERK!!! It was their error! What happened to our nice theater? I thought the lack of Raisinettes was going to be my biggest issue when I went to see Guardians of the Galaxy, but it turns out the trash that was literally everywhere was. We reserved our seats in advance only to arrive with the previous viewer's concessions still in the seat, in the cup holders, all over the floor... for the patrons who can't seem to throw away what they carried in, Regal used to clean that up between showings, but I guess those days are over. The trash outside the theaters was overflowing, and so were the bins in the restrooms. Many toilets were filthy and in need of a flush. This place was absolutely disgusting. I'm driving to Roseville or El Dorado Hills for my future movie needs. read more

I have a Regal membership used once weekly which saves me money and time for movie purchases and seat selection. As someone mentioned regarding issues with the app, I had problems initially on my first visit but discovered the theatre's area has bad Enternet connectivity, so making purchases prior to leaving is beneficial, but once I was able to make a purchase in the parking lot. I had mentioned in a previous review, this is an old theatre with outdated seats, but they have large movie screens with perfect Dolby sound system. The snack bar has fresh hot popcorn with a variety of snacks, and the attendants have always been helpful and accommodating. The restrooms could stand an upgrade but they are sufficient. The best thing, a lot of available parking close to the theater, and the lot is always clean. read more

Regal Auburn is our local cinema so it is convenient when we want to see something on the big screen. We went to see a movie last night after not having been here in about a year. Wow. It is so sad to see this cinema so run down. I bought tickets on Fandango so I didn't have the experience others shared about having to buy tickets at the snack bar, but that seems kinda crazy. What was worse, in my opinion, was the 30 minutes of advertising we had to sit through AFTER the movie's published start time. And since we got there 15 minutes ahead of the start time, we sat through 45 minutes of advertisement. My husband was ready to walk out, but I convinced him to stay. Seriously? 30 minutes of advertising? And sadly, the movie picture quality was really bad. So bad, that I regretted not waiting until I could watch this on my computer at home. Regal, you seriously need to spend some time and resources updating this theater or it will completely die. At this point, I won't be back. read more

This used to be my favorite movie theater. some friends and I walked in to see the new Thanksgiving movie and we walked up to the front desk and were rudely greeted by a worker. We said we were there to watch the Thanksgiving movie, and she snapped back and said, "you have to be over 21 and show ID. ". I do understand the concern. However, I have been going to this theater for years with my friends seeing R rated movies and this hasn't happened to me once. We were forced to refund and leave. read more

Went here recently to view Angry Birds 2, and the theater was okay. Purchased tickets at the snack bar. Overpriced food is nothing new at the movies so that's whatever. Overall, it's not a bad place. Matinee prices weren't really reflected on our movie purchase but again, it's not a huge deal to me. The employee didn't seem to know what to make of my regal membership when scanning my phone. went and saw the mario movie on tuesday (tickets are half off on tuesdays) and was impressed by the cleanliness of the theater, they also took the time to put out a little mario display for promotion of the movie. It was not crowded at all, so the assigned seating was unnecessary, but i understand they are trying to stay up to date and this feature streamlines the process of purchasing a ticket. employee working at the booth was very polite as well and explained the rewards program to me. read more

Here's a very nice theater in our pretty little town. All the top movies are available, with a nice selection of some lesser known titles. As well, there are selected dates with old movies at reduced cost. The popcorn has never been stale and the entire establishment is clean. Also, make sure to get a Regal card, as it affords such kickbacks for frequent visitors as free small popcorn that you can upgrade to a large for $2 and the same for your drink. Today we had a free earned movie pass and got a large popcorn and drink for $8.33. That's not bad at all. read more

On another scorching hot day recently we decided to get out of the heat by taking a drive to the foothills, getting lunch, and going to see a movie. Our first impression of this Regal Cinema was good, with easy and convenient parking, and the employees we encountered were nice enough. I found the women's restroom to be clean and well stocked with the essentials. Also good was the sound quality of the movie and the temperature of the theater. What wasn't good was the stale popcorn, and the uncomfortable seats. Those last two things, rather than the driving distance, will be what keeps us from returning here. read more

Went to the theater on 8/15/21, there was a line from the snack bar to the entry doors. Instead of getting tickets at the ticket window, everyone has to wait and get tickets at snack bar, so you wait and wait while others decide what snacks they want and what seat they want to sit in!
