This theater could really use a rehab. Bathrooms very out of shape and need work. Almost feels like this is an afterthought Regal experience. For the same prices as other Regals it should be held to a higher standard. It was the closest one for us and had the better screening time but it was not one I would return to again. read more

I honestly do love this regal location. It's not my nearby regal but going here is always a treat. The staff is friendly, bathrooms are clean, and the theater is comfy! Only downside is some screens are better than others so maybe pay attention and remember what auditoriums have better quality screens if that matters to you. Parking is super easy and free. Hassle free parking matters to me :) I saw Wicked for good twice now here and it was so fun! They went all out with the decorations which was highly appreciated and loved! I would recommend and I am definitely returning to this theater! read more

I love the location of this theater. It's easy to find showings that are fairly empty as well, which is nice! I've only had trouble finding a decent seat once and that was on me for going on a busy Saturday afternoon. The staff members are super nice and patient! If you're looking to relive what going to the movies felt like in the early 2000s, this place might do it......for 4 times the price. This theater clearly hasn't been updated in decades, yet tickets cost over $40 for two people for standard stadium seating. The seats were uncomfortable, close together, and the theater just overall really crammed and outdated. Additionally, the showtime was listed as 8:40 PM, we got in our seats at that time, they were still cleaning from the last movie. Finally the screen came on and proceeded to play 25 minutes of commercials (not even trailers, actual ads) then followed by another 10 minutes of previews. The movie didn't actually start until around 9:30. To make things worse, the women's restroom had no toilet paper in any of the stalls. Save your money and go somewhere more comfortable! read more

Sure, it's an older theater without the massive, modern recliners and full food service, but the facilities are also keep very clean, and the kids love it. Parking is also as good as it gets - plentiful, over a huge lot (vs. a dense parking tower). It's also nice to watch movies in here with only a few other customers. Probably not the best business situation for the owners, but that ability to view movies with kids in a very chill, uncrowded environment is wonderful. read more

Decent movie theatre in Redmond, came here not too long ago to watch the newest animated Spiderman movie that came out. Inside is pretty clean and not too busy on a Tuesday evening. I actually came a little late to the movie theatre due to some traffic and I had a ticket for 3:40pm showing. However, they were able to help me replace the ticket for the 5:20pm showing instead which was helpful and didn't cost me anything. Undoubtedly in response to complaints about hard to hear dialog this theater chose to crank up the volume rather than ensure the audio system was propery calibrated. As soon as I walked in, I felt the movie theater was not cool enough. So I thought maybe I just got in so I wanted to wait a little bit. While I was trying to purchase the popcorn and drinks, the female staff was training someone I guess. He seemed like a trainee which I didn't have any problem with him. The female staff had very rude attitude instead of asking me what I want, she kept asking her co-worker to see if I want the items. Okay, it's been a hot humid day, I understand. So I moved on to get my ticket scanned to find the seat I purchased, oh my gosh.. I started to sweat.. I asked my husband is this just me or him too, he said he doesn't feel any cool air coming. So we thought maybe the movie won't start another 20 minutes or so so we decided to wait.. I was stupid enough to wait long enough and I couldn't take any longer. So I stepped out and I saw a staff and asked. Do you guys have ac on auditorium 1, she said yes we have fan going on. I asked her fan is on but not AC? She said yes only fan is on. No wonder why everyone was seating in auditorium 1 was trying to make something to use as hand fan while movie was going.. this movie theater staff didn't bother to notify any of their customers to know their AC wasn't working. The worst place to be in the weather of 90 degrees.. worst movie theater I have ever been to. Don't bother to go unless you are desperate to watch something. Plan ahead to avoid this horrible place so spend money!!! read more

Regal Bella Bottega is located in Redmond and it very much has that dated feel to it when you step inside. We visited this theater as I was wanting to watch a particular film and had a Costco pack Regal Cinemas tickets, so this was the only Regal Cinemas around my area that was showing the movie I wanted to see. Like most Regal Cinemas, the decor and style are all similar, with colorful carpets and gray counter tops. Given the vaccine requirement guideline, they are checking vaccination cards before anyone can purchase tickets. You cannot purchase tickets at the outdoor windows. Instead, you buy tickets where they sell refreshments. There was also no self-checkout area like at other movie theaters. Seats were older, but comfortable. They don't recline, which is definitely a game changer these days when watching a movie. The snacks they sell are typical: popcorn, candy, ice cream, nothing out of the ordinary or special. I would come back only if I was looking for a particular movie and/or was already in the area. read more

Not a review of this particular theater but Regal itself. Purchased a movie pass to go and see unlimited movies. I was one of the first so didn't need a one year commitment....just month to month. Took 4 months to cancel while they kept charging me and saying my cancellation reason wasn't acceptable. Response rate is slow and I think I had to email them at least 10 times. It just felt a bit shady since they just wanted me to continue to pay:(. There are whole Reddit threads saying to just cancel your credit card since they were doing this to many:( The manager here tried to help but they have no control over corporate. Friday night at 7pm and the lobby was empty! We LOVED it. Reserved seating is always a plus and we had the entire theater to ourselves. The employees were kind and helpful. Ben made sure I got my coupons applied and was very friendly. The movie (F9) wasn't great... But the experience was fun. Our popcorn was delicious and the theater was clean. Although outdated, it gives the theater a homey feel which I actually liked! The ONLY thing I would change was the speakers in the theater we were in sounded like they were coming straight from the screen rather than around the entire room. We had fun & I will certainly be back-- just for a better movie next time! read more

Theater was clean and ready for customers. I think it was Erik at concessions (might have that name wrong; sorry!) who took good care of us before our matinee. We saw the Oscar shorts showing. You buy tickets from the windows outside. That is why I was surprised yesterday. We found out that there were not enough representatives and we purchased tickets inside. Probably you can buy tickets while buying snacks on a regular basis. We were able to choose our seats there too :D Clean and few people on a week day. Both times I've come here (at different parts of the day) parking has been pretty tough. It's always packed with people as there is a lot of stuff to do in this plaza. Don't think you'll automatically find parking because of that giant parking lot like I did. It was super packed at Friday 7pm and I actually got a bit lucky. The seats were not that comfortable as they were not reclining at all. It's unreserved seating so while there are a ton of seats, depending on the movie you go to and how new/popular it is, you might have to resort to sitting close to the front. read more

Im surprised this theatre isn't rated higher by my fellow Yelpers?! Just a few minutes from 520 and downtown Redmond, Bella Botega is super close and convenient! Nice big theatre, remodeled in recent years and always seems pretty clean. Seats are comfortable and the high backs are nice. I like that this theatre is rarely crowded- means you can still find those highly coveted middle seats even for a popular movie like Wonder Woman or a special event showing. I might be a little biased because I remember coming here back in the day on a couple of high school dates- I was so young once! lol! We went there to see special showings of Classic movies like Twister, Grease and Star Wars. This place hasn't changed much over the years though in the sense that it still looks newish, staff is great, they still do special event classic movie showings and the theaters are comfortable and clean! I went most recently with my husband to see a Fathom Event special showing of The Princess Bride. The movie is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year! Fun! Even though I was too young to see it in the theatre it's first go-round, it was fun to see the classic on the big screen for the Anniversary! The theatre was full of fans that all clearly knew the movie by heart. So fun to watch with a big group and hear all the laughs and extra commentary. This theatre accepts movie pass and participates in the half price Tuesday specials on tickets and popcorn through Regal Crown Rewards and AT&T. So that's an added bonus too! With an AT&T corporate office practically in its backyard - I would hope they'd put together a deal! Ha! The staff were very nice and funny. They seemed genuinely friendly and had good things to say/suggestions about the current movies that are out. Always appreciate helpful and good recommendations! The theatre is located in a nice strip mall with several quick bites stops like sushi or fast food, sit-down dinner options like MOD Pizza or Tropea and a couple of later night restaurant/ bars Coho and JJ Mahoney's so there's something for everyone. Worst place ever! Very rude and disrespectful manager (he called himself the owner). I did not take his name as I was not planning to submit a complain. But decided it instead to write a review. It was a traumatizing experience for my daughter... We showed up to watch our movie with online pre-purchased assigned tickets, but when we arrived to the theater, a lady with her friend and their kids were sitting in our assigned seats (H11-14). She said she had the same tickets and didn't move, instead she went outside to talk to the manager. When I came outside, I found her talking to the manager and turns out she had row G not H (our row) she was sitting in the wrong seats. She said the people who sat on her seats had the same tickets as hers and that the theater double booked the seats on G. So she decided to take the seats on H. I understand her decision as we were late, but we would have moved if we had taken the wrong seats and the owners arrived. We found a different area to sit and watched the movie (the manager confirmed we can use those seats). Fast forward to the end of the movie and the woman decided to come yell at my family and confront us at the exit, even thought she had taken our seats. She was upset I told her next time not to take other people's seats. I asked the manager (a new manager not the one who helped us with sitting arrangements) to please help us, to intervene because the woman was scaring my kid, my 6 year old was crying scared because the woman was yelling. My husband was telling the woman to stop but she kept yelling, I told her to leave us alone but she didn't. Then the manager came to yell at everybody, and after the other woman left he came to yell at me, using his both hands waving them in the air he yelled at me to "get out of his theater" "I own this theater", one of the employees was kindly offering me free tickets (they gave free tickets to the other woman). I refused to take the tickets, I told him to stop yelling and to get trained on how to respectfully treat people. He was very rude and contributed to scaring my kid. My poor kid is so afraid to go to the movies now. So sad how a kid's movie turned into this horrible experience. read more

Oh the movie was great. The seats were mediocre. Kind of the middle of the road for me on those. But the popcorn was terrible I paid almost 9$ dollars for the popcorn and it was cold and I asked for extra butter thinking there was like melted or liquid butter and they powdered it... not my thing. This place hasn't seen a renovation since it was built nearly 20-25 years ago. The seats are ancient and uncomfortable. While most (all?) theaters have added actual food and good munchies to their menus, this theater is staunchly entrenched in serving candy, popcorn, and soda only. This place is 10 minutes from my house. In 10 years I've been there exactly once. I prefer the extra 20 minutes of driving to go to AMC in Woodinville/Factoria or Regal Crossroads in Bellevue. Other than the Issaquah Highlands location, this is the ONLY other theater I'm aware of on the east side that has not adopted reserved recliner seating. read more

I've been to this theater a few times now and honestly it's been a very poor experience. The staff that work the concessions are great, the people that sell the tickets are fantastic, the management though is not awesome. I wen to see The Shawshank Redemption for the 25th anniversary showing. I'd been waiting weeks to see if in theaters again 25 years later. I got my pop corn and drink and went to seat myself. The movie was supposed to start at 4:00. But for some reason someone forgot to actually start the movie so it started 20 min late. So far so good...except for the fact that their system is automated. Since the movie started 20min late their system ended the movie 20 minutes too early at the very end, the most crucial part of this two hour movie. The lights came on an the screen went black. One of the viewers ran out to tell management who then got the movie back up and running but the audio was playing the "Welcome to Regal audio" and commercials. Then it was just the movie and then no audio. This went on for 15 minutes. Several people left to get management when someone eventually showed up. Pretty much everyone just walked out of the theater upset. They offered me a free ticket but honestly I don't plan to use it. I literally live next door to the theater and I would rather drive to Bellevue to go to Cinemark. They eventually got the movie working but it wasn't worth it at that point. read more

It's ok if you need to see a movie and can't get a ticket at the theaters with recliners. It's also not the cleanest. I've been a few times and have noticed they could increase the frequency at which they clean. In fact, I'm contemplating right now as I write this review. For what you pay for at this theater, there are better places around. But you might have to drive a little farther. There are also other places that are extremely overpriced. This is place is not. I recommend this place if it is convenient for you and you don't want to spend $15+ for a ticket. read more

I went to see Barbie. Although the movie was very good, I hated the fact that they showed a bunch of terrible TV like ads for about 15 minutes before the movie previews. I felt like a hostage. I also thought it was strange that although there were only about 15 people in the theater, the management assigned everyone seats in the same row next to one another (this was not one of the heaters where you pick seats in advance). I was excited to see a theater so near our home, but this place really deserves a pass. It's horribly outdated in nearly every way, but not quaint. I hear they finally got reserved seating, but still uncomfortable old chairs when you can have wide recliners for LESS money nearby. That's the party that really irks me. They dirtiness charge more for a much less experience. I don't know why they don't just invest more into the business and they'd have not-stop sold out shows. I'm surprised Regal allows this theater to be branded. I hope they get the message and either lower prices considerably or upgrade. I know plenty of people that live minutes away, yet choose to drive the extra for AMC Woodenville or Crossroads. read more

I'm sure I've been here before, but have one Yelp check in so far. We came out to Redmond because they closed our little theater at Kirkland Parkplace. Boo! This is a normal Cineplex with, I don't know, maybe a dozen theaters? That means crowded, and with lots of restaurants nearby, which means parking can be a challenge. Circle around the lot with the other lurkers waiting for someone to leave. That's your chance. Feels like L.A. The theater itself is nice, with big comfortable seats, huge screen and decent sound system. The trouble with these big multiplexes is you can often hear the roar, crash, bang from adjacent theaters as you are trying to enjoy the film in front of you. It sounded like Mad Max next door- loud! Also the theater we were in had an odd rattle when the sound got to a deep lower frequency. I'd hear this buzzzzzz on the wall near me which was a bit distracting. Despite that, it's a pretty good experience overall with the large screen and comfortable seats so we'll come back. read more

Wanna know why this place gets a 3 star rating? Because I got my ticket for $8.50 during a matinee show (awesome!) and then paid $7 for a medium popcorn (not awesome). It's great that this theater has matinee pricing on shows before, like 5 i think (you might wanna double check that), on weekdays. The less great thing? It used to be weekends. And I know I shouldn't knock em down a star for doing what all theaters do, overcharging for snacks, but my ticket was only a buck fifty more than my popcorn! Wtf?! Normally i do the ghetto thing and bring a snack in a zip baggie, along with a can/bottle of soda (I did bring a soda this time, I'm not crazy enough to pay theater prices for both my popcorn AND my soda), but I really wanted some popcorn this time, and felt better about it since my ticket price was discounted. But I really was unprepared for that popcorn price. The theater itself is ok, on the older side but not worn down or anything, just not shiny and new. read more

My first visit to this cinema was on a Thursday night (opening night) for the new Star Trek movie. They had both 2D and 3D showings. I arrived at 8:45pm for a 9:45pm showing of the 3D film. Although the parking lot seemed full, I scored rock star parking in the front row. There was no line at the box office window. For $13.50, I was handed a ticket and wrapped 3D glasses for the show. The agent also set me up with a free Regal membership card which got me a $1 off admission and will give me potential future discounts with popcorn and soda. Once inside, I skipped visiting the concession stand, but there was no one in line here, and it would have been easy to load up on theater junk food. Around the corner was a line of five people waiting for entrance into the 2D, 9pm showing of Star Trek. I was the first one here for my 3D, 9:45pm showing. The restrooms are inside the theater beyond the ticket taker. They weren't allowing entry into the theater for my showing, but the ticket taker did allow me entry into the restrooms. My showing did end up with a small line of about 10 people. I was first into the theater and was able to claim the middle seat, in the middle section with the rails in front which are great for a foot rest during the show. The seats had high backs so your neck and head were supported. The arm rests could be lowered or raised depending on whether or not you wanted to sit close to the person next to you. Each arm rest came with a large drink holder at the end. The arm rests would allow one person a comfortable spot to place their arm, but a thumb war would have resulted if you had to sit next to someone and share the precious space. Not many people came in after the initial line had entered. The auditorium was less that 20% full which seemed amazing to me since this was opening night for the new Star Trek film. In Hawaii, the movie would have sold out online hours before the show started. A slew of commercials for telecommunications, television shows and local events was played for those of us arriving early. The lights were finally dimmed for movie previews and the 2 1/2 hour show. A screen reminder was provided to silence electronic devices and put on the 3D glasses provided. People were respectful during the show. I would definitely consider returning to this cinema considering the lack of lines and crowds. read more

My family comes here often - very often - as we live close-by. The place always has first-run, just released movies playing, so it's super convenient. But the other reviews are correct: the prices here are quite steep, even for matinees, and even for kids. The theaters aren't huge, so I recommend coming at off-times (I've never had a problem getting a good seat. But then again, I've never gone to a premier here). I have always found the theaters to be clean, but the bathrooms can be....spotty. The kids who work here ARE quite young and I wouldn't expect them to care or intervene in any way if ever there was a problem. I should mention the parking lot situation. Now that there are some popular restaurants here (Mod Pizza, The Rendez Vois bakery, SushiLand, Yummy Pho, JJ Mahony's, Raja Noodles, and more to come), as well as the new Evergreen Hospital freestanding clinic, so the lot can be JAM PACKED if new movies are playing. And the configuration of the lot aisles is wacky in areas, too, so it's really dangerous. We usually walk here from our house, but whenever I've driven, I've had to drive around the lot for a long time before finding a spot. It's stressful and dicey, so I'd advise, if you're coming on a weekend and there are new movies showing, come really early to get a spot. read more

Seating - ok, but if you are tall with long legs, the seats in front of you are blocked down (cant slide your toes under) and you get to sit with your knees cramped. Concessions, expensive (like most) $19.50 two large drinks and large popcorn. Popcorn is freshly popped and is lightly salted. Would have liked a popcorn bar with various flavored shakers (cheese, etc) for these prices. Friendly service. Many of the soda dispensers were out on my visit forcing my guy to go to several stations (right at opening on Sat?) Picture quality - spectacular digital screen, loved it. Sound - ok, the rear surround seemed lacking, I only heard the front. Restrooms, cramped and small for such a large theatre. Parking - needs more. read more

I'm going to keep coming here because we can use our discounted movie tickets that we buy at Costco here, but if there's another more convenient Regal theater, I'd much rather go there. Years ago, I heard that Bella Bottega had the best sounds system in the area but times change, and upgrades should be budgeted for. Yes, the stadium seating is nice, however I wish the seating was more 6' and taller friendly. I hate that squished in feeling almost as much as being forced to fold my legs in origami just to fit in the normal seats. I actually started having a panic attack the other night but somehow I managed to control it. If I was to sit in the "special needs section" people complain. Basically there needs to be a 6' and taller section and I'll be happy. We went to the 10:20pm showing of Avatar last weekend and I was pretty disappointed- not in the movie but the idiots that sat next to us and decided to bring their misbehavin 3 year old. That stupid kid, kept stepping on my girlfriends feet, and talking loudly. Then he started banging his popcorn tub as if it were a drum. After the second loud SHHHH and nothing I finally had to say something to the father. I told him if you doesn't silence his son I will go and get management. He figured out that I meant business and one of his wives took the kid outside for the remainder of the movie (at least an hour).
