The reason for the 4 stars... this is my second time at this movie theatre and I honestly think it's more messy in comparison to other theatres. I've visited this movie theater a few times with my family and have found it to be okay. The experience has been the same each time we've gone. This movie spot offers typical movie snacks, such as drinks, popcorn, and candy. If that's not your jam, there are a few restaurants within walking distance that you can visit beforehand. If you arrive early, there's a mini-game room off to the side where you can pass the time. There's even a photo booth where you can capture some memories. The seating arrangement is average, with narrow seats and a tight walkway. I wish there was more room to move around and more space between the seats. Tickets can be purchased at the door or online. I recommend buying tickets online if possible. You simply show your QR code to the staff and you're good to go. read more

Saw Dune Part II here on a Saturday night in IMAX. We also got their special cheetos Popcorn ($9.40) from concession stand. The IMAX was completely full and it was nice seeing such a great movie in a crowded theater. The seats were very comfortable and you could see over everyone because of the theater seating. The previews were definitely geared towards movies that could be seen on Imax. We had a really good time. read more

#Thankyouthursday2021 I love this theater. The staff and everyone I encounter are always so friendly and eager to help. The theater itself is clean and the seats are super comfy. We have visited a few times and it's always easy to navigate. Using the Regal app is really easy to use and makes our contact less experience easy. Concession stand is full of options and the popcorn is always tasty and they accommodate my request to layer that butter in the tub! On this occasion we watched Ghostbusters Afterlife and the team lead let us know to stay after the credits since there was more to see. We appreciated that because I would've left. There was a small mishap with our concessions preorder like they hadn't turned on the computer so they didn't know it was there, but they quickly rectified the situation. See you soon! read more

Have always gone to this Regal because they're consistently clean and staff are nice. During this ongoing pandemic, they're keeping seats spaced out but not many people attended anyway. Many of the theater rooms were empty sadly. Concession counters are serving a limited menu but still plenty of popcorn of course. Tickets are also purchased at concession counter instead of outside. Kudos to them for still keeping things operating smoothly. It was very nice to be able to watch a movie in theater once more. Almost normal again! read more

Hands down, this was the worst movie experience I've ever had. Monday night, 5:30pm, my husband and I decided to go see a movie. A date night we haven't had time for in months. When we bought our tickets, we are told you have to pick the seats you want before going in. The screen showed that only 6 seats had been taken. We chose 2 seats that were in the very last row, up high, right in the middle, and no one around us. We got our tickets and headed into theater 9 to go see the new Hunger Games. We were there a solid 10 minutes, when we saw a guy come in. He started heading up the stairs. I jokingly said to my husband "watch, he'll come sit right next to you!".... Sure enough, he walks right up to us, but instead of sitting down next to us, he tells us we're in HIS seat and we need to move. We tell him no, we were here way before him and the entire theater is empty. You go sit somewhere else... This guy took off down the stairs and returns with the manager. She tells us that WE need to move. We tried showing her our tickets with assigned seats O-14, and O-15. She said she didn't care. We needed to move because "we were making him feel uncomfortable." My husband questioned her on why we needed to move when we bought our tickets first and had been there for at least 10min. before this guy. She then went into "We reserve the right..." before it got too ridiculous with the back and forth arguing, I said we'd move. We get up and start heading down the stairs. We start questioning the manager without that guy around, and she still took his side. She said we could go sit anywhere else we wanted. So why bother with assigned seating then?.... None of this would have happened if we weren't forced to choose a seat before the movie. The assigned seating is ridiculous unless it's a big movie premiere or a busy weekend. 9 seats were sold for the movie we went to. Our happy date night vibe was completely ruined by 1 entitled A-hole who got his way by acting childishly like Sheldon, and because the manager on duty was completely careless to the fact that we were actually right. Our side of the story was not worth her time. "Sheldon's" complaint was all she heard and all that mattered to her. I hope she receives some people management training in her future. As a business owner, I'd be embarrassed to hear that my manager "handled" this situation with no grace or professionalism.... I called and spoke to Rex the following morning. He seemed to genuinely care, and he apologized multiple times. He offered to put points our Regal account, but we do not have one. I didn't ask for my money back because I know theater's are already struggling to survive. My call to Rex wasn't about getting something out of the movie theater, or something free. It was about accountability for being treated so unfairly in a situation where we were genuinely in the right. Unfortunately, we won't be going back to this theater in the future. I will wait patiently for Netflix, HBO or whatever site to release the movie I want to see, and watch it from the comfort of our home read more

So the facility has gone down hill. You have slow untrained staff and absolutely huge concession lines. When I finally got in to see the movie (decided popcorn wasn't worth it) very few people had popcorn to enjoy their movie with. We waited too long to see the most recent Jurassic park movie, something along the lines of being an adult and work and other such excuses. We were happy to see it was still playing in this theater and drove out to Issaquah to watch it. The theater is older and definitely in need of a facelift.. at least some new carpet or something. The snacka stand looks the same as they did when I attended my very first movies as just a young pup. We got there and getting our advanced purchased tickets took longer than we expected. The husband prepared to usher us past the snacks until I protested. One cannot.. simply does not.. have a movie without popcorn. Im pretty sure there's a law somewhere. Begrudgingly he waited in the ridiculously long line popping with kids excited about the sugar in their near future. Despite the line, the attendants at the counter kept decreasing in number. In the end it truly took forever and I had to say the three words i loathe to the husband.. you were right. We got to the counter and everyone was clueless on if their popcorn was gluten free which delayed us further and expediated the evolution of the husband into cranky husband. Once we got our snacks ironed out, priorities guys, we strolled in a few mins after the movie started but still made it well before the first dinosaur chomp..that's success in my book. Seats were older, they don't have upgrades recliners, and theater quality and cleanliness were pretty average. Bought tickets same day online ( wish it was quicker to navigate thru but maybe once you create a log in its better ) but reserved our seats and headed out on a snow day to check it out. For lego movie 2. I have to be honest too- we are use to going to ipic. So its been awhile since ive gone to a theater where someone isnt serving me ... but being snowed in we went for what was closest... Parking was confusing. We ended up on upper level and took elevator. ( slippery with snow- 4 yr old took a tumble but not theater fault) Once in , we only had to wait a minute in concession line to order. They had pizza and pretzels and a bunch of hot food items. We got mozz stix and chicken sandwich. Kiddo got the kids box with popcorn, icee, and fruit snack . The hot food (That we had to wait about 10 minutes but maybe it had lower staff amt due to snow storm ? ) Otherwise it was clean and was pleasantly surprised at friendly staff/customer service. We actually did a double take- seems the cashier at concessions has a twin working at ticket check stand so we got a laugh there. We passed this sweet amanda's kiosk candy machine that we wanted to try but it said sold out on everything which was odd. ( pretty disappointing if you're a 4 year old and your parents have out cash too) Overall it was a regular movie theater. Prolly will keep doin ipic because of the food and drink options and lounge chairs. But it was nice only payin $36.73 for 2 adults, 1 kid matinee. read more

The RPX and Imax screens look great, but many of the other screens look old and are very scratched up. When you are watching a screen and daylight scenes are shown the scratches on the screen look very apparent. These screens BADLY need to be upgraded. Especially for the price they charge. read more

The physical theater gets 5 stars. They lost a star for having THE MOST uncomfortable 3D glasses EVER!! It's extremely distracting when watching a great movie and parts of your face hurts do to the 3D glasses they provide. Will opt for no more 3D at this tester. They lost another star due to consistently taking 20 minutes for hot food. One employee we talked to we said this to - our movie is about to start and we are still waiting on our food. Well today we come back to regal to watch hotel Transylvania to find out that our theatre has not even been cleaned since the last movie that was watched in there !!!! I'm disgusted right now , my wife's seat was disgusting and full of popcorn grease . We had to wipe it down before she could even sit down. Trash and popcorn everywhere on the floor ! I'm not normally on the east-side, but this movie theater is great! I came for the Star Wars: The Last Jedi opening night and it was PACKED. Well, should've known. Because Star Wars, obvi. Even though the concession line was long, the staff was efficient as possible, and the popcorn was super fresh. They have a limited edition Star Wars popcorn bucket and drink combo, which comes with a character figurine on the top of the cup! Get it before it's gone! The theater itself is kept clean and the seats are comfy and spacious. The screens are huge so no matter where you sit you'll get a good view. HOWEVER, THE PARKING SITUATION HERE IS AWFUL. Like, absolutely horrendous. I drove around the lots and garage for 20 minutes looking for a spot, and while I was finally waiting for a car to pull out, another car pulled in and stole it from me! And to top it off, the lady flipped me off like I had done something wrong! So save yourself some stress and bus in, or park far away and walk. read more

This is a great theater and I am happy to live near it. There's 2d, 3d, IMAX, RPX and stadium seating. The staff is the best! They have always done right by me here. I had my son's birthday party here and the staff made sure we were set for a great party. Recently, they took way too long to make my chicken sandwich and I was going to miss the start of the movie so I went to complain at guest services and went to my movie in a huff. The manager actually found me and gave me my sandwich with a cup of ketchup, mayo and mustard right as the movie started and apologized. Even when they make mistakes they go out of their way to make it right and that's all I can ask of anyone. My son and I love movies and have years of cinephile, geek-out memories at this great community theater. Aside from being friendly and helpful, the staff are also just as enthusiastic about movies as we are. Thank you for being awesome Regal Cinemas Issaquah! As of August 2019, NEVER go here, at least on weekdays. Management made the asinine decision from now on to sell tickets only at the concession stands during the week. That means if you want to stop in to see a movie, you need to stand in line with people waiting on popcorn, soda, etc, even if you don't want any. That alone means showing up to the theater an extra 20 minutes early waiting on people. They didn't even have the foresight to create a tickets-only line. Maybe they were just banking on increased sales on concessions, but net result is you now have a bunch of frustrated and angry moviegoers standing in your line complaining to each other. I feel sorry for the workers there. read more

The person we had to sit next to had his mask off the whole time snarfing his popcorn and coughing. I asked to move and the wouldn't accommodate us, turnout the whole auditorium was sold out. Poor service. Nobody at front ticket counter or customer service anymore. You have to use kiosk (no signage) with limited functionality, or buy the tickets at concession stand. Good luck if you're buying tickets with Costco regal tickets. You'll have to stand in line at the concession stand, they will then Have a manager meet you at customer service. But nobody's at customer service. Add 10 minutes to your customer ticket buying process. Not a very customer obsessed Company. read more

Went to see a movie and was shocked to see how long the line for concessions was. I had not been to a movie for a while. I overhear people talking about having to bbt your tickets at the kiosk or at the concessions. This is a horrible decIom on Regals part to not have anyone outside to sell movie tickets. The lines are now very long, even at a 350 show. We had too wait over 10 minutes just to get popcorn, good thing we purchased our tickets online. There were 5 kids working the food, one manager running around and as we walked to our show and other 3 kid employees just walking through the halls. Now tell me why 2 of these people could be outside selling no the tickets?? My suggestion would be buy you tickets online or give yourself and extra 20 minutes ahead of your original time. read more

I'd give them an additional star but I can't understand why they didn't build it with Dolby Atmos in the RPX theater after they had already started upgrades of their other Puget Sound RPX theaters, so for movies mixed in Atmos I go to Regal Landing instead. read more

We watched "Interstellar" in the Regal Issaquah Highlands IMAX theater this weekend. What a disappointing experience! We loved the movie but the IMAX experience was terrible. First, there was a considerable amount of sound from the other theaters in the theater we were in. We noticed it during the previews and thought that after the movie started in our theater it wouldn't be a problem. That was not the case. That, alone, was enough to ruin our viewing experience. To top it off, the sound from the other theater was so loud that it was causing a ceiling vent to rattle. The metal on metal noise was grating (no pun intended). Second, the IMAX at the Issaquah Highlands theater should not even be marketed as IMAX. The screen is small and the picture quality was terrible. I've been to some great IMAX theaters and this is far from being one of them. Let's dub it "imax". We will NOT go back there for an IMAX movie. Third, the popcorn is absolutely abhorrent. I've had it about 4 times now. I hoped each time I had just got a bad batch. But, it is terrible each and every time. Okay, I have been quite descriptive expressing my dislike for the IMAX theater and the popcorn. I don't like writing my comments in this manner but, perhaps, a very negative review will get someone's attention. I have taken some time to read other reviews here on Yelp and through other online services and it seems the management is simply not listening. The other sites all contain a plethora of negative reviews ranging back to the opening of the theater. It is my hope that something will be done to correct the problems.
