We booked a limo last minute for our wedding. We needed to be driven around lower Manhattan for a couple hours while we were taking some wedding photos. I was expecting a basic, clean limo, no more. We got a little less I'm afraid. One of the seats was broken and you couldn't sit on it properly. Unfortunately I was concerned my wedding dress was going to get dirty because the limo didn't feel particularly well cared for/clean. The driver was very nice and patient, but he didn't really seem to know his way around Manhattan very well. We had to give him lots of directions. Given this was a spur of the moment reservation, I guess it was OK, but I don't think any of this should have been given a second thought. The absolute worst part about this company is their billing and customer service. My father wanted to pay for the limo, but he had to go through a process in order to get his credit card pre-authorized. It was a hassle, and after all of it, they ended up charging my credit card which is what I asked them NOT to do. In addition to that, they overcharged my credit card for an additional hour we didn't use. I spoke to Sal, the manager, as soon as I received my email receipt and he said he would credit my card back and was very sorry for the error. I would have been satisfied except for the fact that it's over a month later and I still haven't gotten my credit back. I called two more times and emailed, and was told I would receive the email receipt showing the credit. I still have not received this email.... Bottom line, if you're looking for a clean, honest and hassle free experience, please use a different limo company. There are plenty of them in NYC! read more

I had an excellent experience when using Regal Carriage car service. I called to order an SUV and my order was taken down in a professional manner and immediately I felt at ease. So a definite star for client services/reservations. Our driver arrived promptly and was ready to assist all of us to the vehicle (including holding the umbrellas while we all hustled under the rain to get into the car. Another star for our driver Walter (Client services). The car was clean and with full amenities and the ride was smooth - another star for the vehicle condition. After our evening was over we called our driver again and he quickly came to pick us up. (A star for timeliness) One we were done with our service we didn't even need to deal with cash as they accept credit cards, making the process seamless. You guessed it...a star for convenience. I originally read about this service here on Yelp and decided to give it a try after my company had several horrible experiences with another service. We usually call them directly (not using the online service) and every time I call, it is efficient and professional. The drivers are equally professional and well-dressed, and are always on time, if not early. (barring some circumstances beyond their control). The cars are impeccably clean and the drivers very friendly. I am very happy with my decision to make the change to Regal -- they are consummate professionals and my company's visitors and managers alike are happy to use them. Most recently, I had an unexpected change in schedule due to crazy plane problems and they were completely flexible to accommodate me. I love these guys! read more

I used CARmel when I arrived at JFK to take me to where I was staying in Manhattan. I will never use them again. What a fiasco. We were getting married at City Hall during our trip and with the weather being questionable I decided to take us and the other 2 in our wedding party by car. That is when I tried Regal. Amazing service. The car arrived on time and I received a text letting me know it was there and what the driver's name and number was. We had a very smooth ride there and arrived right when we wanted to. For the ride back to the airport I called Regal and got a price higher than I anticipated. However, after calling one or two other companies I was not convinced I would be taken care of. I called and paid the higher price. Again, the service was incredible. Proved the saying...you get what you paid for. The only reason this is a 4 star rating and not a 5 is that I would have liked to know ahead of time that a hold for higher than what I was given would be put on my card or be done at all. It was very off putting to see so many charges come on my card since I used the services so close together. I had to take the time to call and the person on the line couldn't really explain all the charges. Billing had gone home and I was promised a call or an email to explain. It has been 24 hours and I have received neither. I did two trips with the company but still have three charges. I will be watching closely to make sure the extra charges comes off. read more

After reading the reviews on Yelp, we decided to call Regal to get a quote for transportation on our wedding day. Not only were we ordering cars for ourselves but we were ordering cars for some of our guests as well. Five minutes on the phone with Sal and I knew he was the right guy for the job. There were multiple pick-ups and drop-offs at different locations and at different times so the schedule was a bit complicated but he got it right away. Within minutes, all the reservations were done and I received all my email confirmation immediately. Sal was extremely professional, helpful and understood my budget. Overall, the booking over the phone was super easy. The two cars we ordered for ourselves were in pristine condition and came five minutes early. Our drivers were friendly, courteous and well-dressed. And the ride was extremely comfortable. We had to change some of the reservations the day of and the dispatchers at Regal were very accommodating and flexible. All in all, we ordered about 12 cars in total that day and the consensus was the same. All of our guests had the same experience as us and would use Regal again. We used these guys for a work event where we had to ferry a VIP downtown, and it couldn't have been easier. We were able to arrange pickup, pay on our credit card, and have the driver plan for a pickup even though we didn't know when exactly the VIP would be available. What's more, when I spoke to the guy on the phone to make my reservation, I told him I wasn't sure where the stage door was. Not only did he double-check with me by email to make sure he had the right address, he looked on Google Photos to confirm that the driver would go to the right place. Talk about customer service! I am writing this review from inside my luxury car that I booked from JFK to Manhattan. This is probably the second NYC trip using them after being disgusted by one of the "other guys." Regal is easy to book, prompt and the cars are gorgeous. My only hiccup this trip was the guy wasn't standing with the other drivers right when you enter baggage claim so I had a momentary panic but then I saw him positioned down a bit (and in a better spot to get my bag and go) so all good. Took a taxi last Wednesday in pouring rain and terrible traffic from LGA to midtown Manhattan and I thought to myself "there is no way I do this again when I leave!" So I looked up on Yelp and found Regal Carriage. Reservation was easy and an email confirmation arrived soon after I hung up the phone. This morning, a text came half an hour before the scheduled time notifying driver was early and was on location! I was in the lobby anyway. Ride was smooth, driver was friendly, and it took only half an hour from midtown to JFK! I couldn't be happier. I will definitely use them again for my next trip to the Big Apple. read more

CATASTROPHIC AND EMBARRASSING! After reading reviews for Regal and several other car services, and calling for estimates, I settled on Regal because they sounded the most professional on the phone, and their rates were competitive. I was getting the info for arranging a car pickup for a celebrity to be honored at a benefit. The man who answered the phone said they needed someone to fill out forms and send them with a stat of a credit card, front and back, and a photo ID before it could be processed. I forwarded this info to the benefit's treasurer. He called later and was told they needed an IMPRINT of a credit card, so he schlepped to the venue to have his card processed upon the car's arrival. Imagine his (and my) horror when we learned the driver had told our guest of honor that he had to pay CASH for the ride! It was so embarrassing! NEVER AGAIN! IF I COULD, I WOULD GIVE REGAL NO STARS! read more

I'll first discuss the good. I scheduled a curbside pickup from LGA to Manhattan, and just as my flight landed, I received a call and a text message from Regal to coordinate the pickup outside. The car was clean, the driver courteous, and they provided water and some other amenities in the back. Now, the not-so-good. I originally used their online reservation form, which (I believe), they offer a slight discount for using. On the form, I specified a specific car type (not that it mattered that much), and was quoted a certain price. I then gave my credit card information on a non-encrypted page. After a day or so without receiving an e-mail confirmation, I called them, and they had no record of my online booking. At this point, I rebook through the phone, but the price was at least $80 more than the online quote, since 1) requesting specific cars costs extra (really, I don't care if you show up in X or Y if they are practically the same, why are you charging more when there is no up-charge on your online form); 2) if you request a specific car (which I didn't care about in the first place, but their online form allows you to do so), you need to block two hours instead of a LGA-Manhattan fare. Bottom line, there is a huge discrepancy between their online booking system and their phone dispatch. You can probably get a cheaper fare booking online, but their online system has to work for this to be the case. All said, it took about an hour from pickup to destination, and it was like $xxx (greater than $200) - excessive, so they really need to refine their booking system for a flat fare to and from the airport, as opposed to blocking out two hour time-slots. I seem to recall some murmuring on the phone about how I would have gotten a discount if I booked online. HELLO, I did book online and it didn't work! read more

I took Regal to LaGuardia from midtown Manhattan the day before Thanksgiving. The driver was prompt and the car was impressive and clean. Despite the fact that it was raining and rush hour traffic on one if the busiest travel days of the year, he got us there quickly and skillfully. HOWEVER , while I had received a price when I booked the cab, the cost when I got to the airport was different than the one I was quoted through email. I had communicated with Regal to make sure that the tip was included in the cost they quoted me online. They said yes. With the new amount, I was no longer sure. I asked the driver whether tip was included and he said twice the he "didn't know". Really, dude, this is only your job, you only do this all the time. It was pretty clear that he was just trying to get more money out of us, but not wanting to stiff him out of a tip on the off chance service was not included, I gave more than I was quoted. So, in short, prompt service and a clean car, but a sketchy driver had me paying way over what I should have. Very punctual, the driver arrived 15 minutes ahead of time. They will call you when the driver arrives, so you won't have to wait in the lobby wondering which car is yours. The car is in great condition, clean, no odor, very comfortable. The driver was also pleasant. Only caveat is the price, but I guess it matches the service. For a 10 minute trip within Mahattan, it cost me $48 (including tip). read more

This is a dead beat company, they made a reservation back on the 1st of December 2017 for two jobs with us. Airport to downtown Indy and a return. The trip total is $140. They gave us a invalid credit card and when we asked for a new card they have given us the run around for the past month plus. If these guys are so successful why can't they pay a small $140.00 bill for services rendered. Have we called, emailed, texted, oh yes still no payment. Keep sending us to a Mr. Anderson voicemail. Was pleased with our recent experience, both pickup and drop off from/to La Guardia Airport. Both of our drivers were prompt from the time we arrived at baggage claim to be greeted and checkout time at the hotel. The parking at the airport was a bit of ways to walk to but it wasn't too bad and that's not the driver's fault. I originally arranged for a Town Car but instead we got an Escalade, so that was awesome. The traffic was a bit bad but hey, that's the city for ya. We got to our hotel safely so that's what matters. The ride back to the airport was much quicker since it was after rush hour in the morning. I changed the pickup time by 30 minutes earlier and the response through email was quick and the staff who made the reservations by phone were pleasant to work with as well. read more

This is part two of my review. The first dealt with booking the service and this one deals with the service itself. It was, in a word, fantastic. We had arrived at La Guardia and followed the very clear instructions Kendra had given us for curbside pick-up. Our driver, Rohan, showed up almost immediately and drove us into Manhattan in a way that did not have us hanging on for dear life. He was friendly and safe. He dropped is off to take care of some business and waited a couple of hours and then picked us up to go to the hotel. When it came time to pay the bill, it was actually a little less than what I was quoted for hourly service. I would definitely recommend Regal Carriage and I would use them again. read more

Excellent Service!!! I booked for a Luxury SUV (it was really luxury!!) Pick Up and Drop Off at JFK Airport and Westin Hotel at Times Square, on 3/24 and 3/27. Our Chauffeur, WALTER, is very professional, very nice and so patient to wait for us at the airport, since our flight from West Palm Beach, Florida was delayed for 1 hour. We were greeted at the baggage claim area with a smile when we arrived. Even if Walter was a little bit behind with his schedule because of the delay of our flight, he was still very gracious and was happy to have a very pleasant conversation with us while we were on our way to the hotel. Even my 13 yr old nephew said that Walter is very nice. So we decided to request for him to drop us off at the airport on the day we went home. Overall, I am very, very satisfied with the service of Regal Carriage. The price is very reasonable for the excellent service they provide. Drivers are nice. Upon our arrival and meeting driver ay baggage claim, I had to have them drive me around LaGuardia to find an elderly relative flying in from another destination. I gave driver an extra $20 tip on top of service fee already included in rate. We flew into NYC 3/30/13. Amazingly enough, our flight was over 30 minutes early. However, our driver was waiting for us in baggage claim. Easy drive into Manhattan. We departed 4/4/13 and our driver was waiting for us at our predetermined location and got us to LGA quickly and in comfort. I had called on 3/28/13 and spoke with Bryan. I am a simple person when it comes to limo service. All I want is a clean car and a courteous and punctual driver who knows what he is doing. I arranged for a meet and greet for my wife arriving at JFK and 20 mins after her arrival, I get a call from her saying that the driver was not waiting for her at the customs exit as arranged and when she did not see him she went outside to have a cigarette after her 14 hr flight. They did connect later after a flurry a phone calls but to me not being there to welcome the passenger exiting the baggage claim area, especially when the flight is on time, defeats the whole idea of a meet and greet. I would have expected at the very least some apologies and a refund of the meet and greet charge. read more

They show up early, the cars are clean, and the drivers are friendly and helpful. Very Couteous on phone, qouted us $90.00 on phone for a limo from Newark to Midtown Manhatten Hotel. Driver showed up on time - our plane was early, and ended up charging us $196.00 based on "hidden waiting time Fee" Bunch of Bullshit, however i wasnt in the mood to have a major showdown infront of family as 1st New York experience. Wow! I visited New York this past weekend with 8 of my coworkers. We were pressed for time between two of our planned events so we booked Regal to transport us from the 9/11 Memorial to the Theater district. They were wonderful to work with from the booking process to the pick-up. The customer service professional who took my call was polite and knowledgeable and the SUVs that we reserved to pick us up were a little ahead of schedule. A couple of members of my party got lost and the drivers waited 10 minutes after our scheduled departure with smiling faces. They got us to our destination safely and quickly. Great Service! If you are flying into NYC, getting a driver is really the best way to get into the city from the airport and back to the airport from the hotel. This service was top notch and very enjoyable. The drivers were on time, professional, and friendly and we were into the city with ease. The ride was smooth (absolutely nothing like riding in a taxi) and it was just an all-around great experience. First of all, I was booking this car for my boss and his boss. I thought seemed together on the phone at first, but when I called back to book after getting a quote earlier in the day, they asked what my quote was which I thought was a little sketchy. They told me it was going to be a higher price and I told them I had a lower quote before so they gave me the lower quote. Once booked they sent me the wrong price and I had to e-mail them again to correct it. The car was a half hour late picking up my boss and his boss - although they made it to their meeting on-time, I think it's unreasonable for a pre-scheduled car to be that late especially when we're paying them a lot of $$ to use the car service for a half day. I contacted them to inquiry as to why the car was so late, but no one replied. My boss did say that the car and driver were fine once they arrived, but if you need someone to be on-time I wouldn't recommend this service. read more

I had problems with their website on my first attempt, but it went smoothly on my second attempt. Setting up my trip was really easy and the drivers were friendly and on time! I went from Newark Airport to Columbus Circle and back and everything went smoothly! I typically do not splurge on a nice car service but the day before Thanksgiving I was on a tight schedule (leaving work in busy midtown and getting over to JFK - expecting a holiday lockjam). I didn't want to risk the trouble of waiting for a cab in midtown so I booked ahead of time with Regal. The car was incredibly clean and in great shape. The driver (Junior) was friendly and professional and managed to get me to the airport in a jiffy without any traffic hangups! The only downside was that the driver couldn't park outside my building so he was driving in circles around the block. I wish he had called to tell me that b/c I panicked a bit when I went outside and didn't see a car waiting for me. That could have been better coordinated but I just called Regal and they were in touch with the driver within the minute and sent him around the corner for me. Overall, this is not a service I'll be able to use as much as I'd like as it is a luxury and less budget-friendly than cabs but when my folks come to town and I want to put them in good hands or when I'm rushed and need to ensure things run smoothly, I'll definitely call Regal. read more

This has to be the best car service in NYC. The owner George, is incredibly professional and amazingly customer service oriented. Recently, I had a plane to catch at JFK, and I unfortunately had only left myself 2 hours time to get there from Manhattan during rush hour. Regal came exactly on time, and was there waiting for me as I came down from my building. We began our journey, and it soon became clear after sitting in rush hour traffic for so long, that there was a serious danger that I would miss my flight. I was extremely nervous. Our driver was incredible, and began re-navigating around all of the traffic to get us there on time, and was reassuring and confident and most professional. He was in contact with headquarters constantly in order to find us the fastest and most efficient route, and they were excellent in responding. The owner of the company even called us personally to make sure we were okay. After some incredible navigating around miles of stalled NYC traffic, we amazingly arrived at JFK with nearly an hour to spare! I was so grateful, as I had been resigned to missing my flight. I cannot recommend Regal highly enough for it's amazingly customer service oriented and professional attitude. Their great customer service really makes a difference.
