4DX movies are now my favorite way to watch movies and Regal Dole Cannery is the only place on the island where you can watch a movie like you're on a ride at Disneyland. I will even say that it's better than Disneyland because you don't have to wait in line and you get just about the same ride time as a whole day at the park. I've watched Avatar and now Spiderman in 4DX and it's just so much fun. The seats move, there's air effects, smoke effects, and strobe lights throughout the theatre. It's really next level movie viewing experience. Parking is validated with a stamp at the theatre for 4 hours or if you forget, you can show them your ticket stub at the exit. Only thing is that I wish they had the customizable soda machines that they have at other movie theatres. read more

This is one of my favorite theaters. Sadly, this was not the best visit. First, while somewhat helpful, we couldn't hear our cashier speaking. And he forgot part of the order:( Later, after confirming they do provide a refill on the large popcorn, and thinking my parents would appreciate snack leftovers, I again stood in a long line, and asked for the refill. Well, unlike their competitor, they don't tear off the top corner. They take your whole bag. So if you haven't eaten all your popcorn, too bad. If you didn't have your normal "crowd" with you this time to eat everything in one sitting, and if you didn't bring your own plastic bag, forget it. You just paid a lot for that one serving. So a tad loss of a "benefit" (which could be construed as rip off #1). I understand, it's a benefit, they have the right. It just gives off that yucky vibe. After the movie, my friend wanted to buy the Moana Glitter Cups which include the drinks. However, you need to put the drinks in the cups - which 1) are out in the public, unsanitary, touched and opened by interested children and customers, and yes, they were already sticky (ewww!); and 2) they sure aren't washing it for you, but 3) Yay, you do get the straw in a sealed wrapper at the cashier. Clean straws don't help if the cups are not . So she bought two beverages/cups without the paid benefit of two beverages. Which can be construed as loss of a "benefit", or rip off #2. The cashier said this new policy recently went into effect a few months ago. So sad to hear this, it's extremely unsanitary - and not a great welcoming look, vibe, or customer experience. Last time I came here, they were sanitary enough about the fancy buckets we paid extra for...? Again, those were all out in the open and touched by many as well. I'm thinking Regal at Dole, please do better. I was so disappointed today. Spent a lot and was told no to everything. Not one "yes" for a positive customer service experience. (Hope no one gets sick from this, because the cups are pretty, customers are interested, and seriously, one of her lids had also been unscrewed.) The movie was good, though. read more

Got tickets to the rpx theatre thinking it would be nicer or worth the extra cost, but the seats were your standard seats. Not worth spending more to be honest. If you are looking for a comfier experience, there are probably better options elsewhere. Although, for best picture experience, the laser imax is probably going to be the best in the state. read more

The venue, especially Theater #2, is dated, somewhat smelly, and a little uncomfortable, with nonadjustable chairs. However, its long-standing easy & free parking is a welcome perk. The concession stand was also terrific--well stocked and offering especially noteworthy fresh popcorn! read more

I live in town so I mainly have 2 theaters to choose from: Consolidated Ward or Regal Dole Cannery. The former is cleaner and newer but Regal has more foreign movie options so I have been here quite often recently! This Regal is quite dated and some theaters smelled musty, you know like the smell inside a really old house. Cleanliness is acceptable at least I don't mind using their bathrooms. And they have caramel popcorn! That's a plus! And the best part is the staff. They were very friendly and welcoming! Make sure you stamp your parking ticket on your way out. I didn't know what to expect but this was my first 4DX experience and I actually flew out of my seat. I was laughing my ass off LOL 100% would do again. Props to Regal for offering the 4DX option and for playing Chainsawman. If we're talking cinema experience they truly amped up the sensitivity and the seats felt like I was on a rollercoaster at Universal Studios. The water was also sprayed in my face as well as feeling myself get punched during the action scenes as well as twirled. This was a ton of fun LOL read more

Although they still haven't upgraded their seats to recliners this is still one of my favorite movie theaters to go to. I went to watch the new resident evil movie yesterday and i was very happy with the experience and working ac. This theater still suffers to staff adequately, there are times where there's only 1 cashier with 15+ people waiting in line. Also i don't see any employees checking the theater but they should check because i caught someone on their phone recording the movie or checking their email with the brightness up at 100%. And before the movie starts why is the lights still on? they should be off so again i have to walk out and find an employee to shut the lights off. Before you go to the snack bar line, it's best to ask the cashier questions before ordering or else you'll spend over $50+ on small items you don't really need. I've tried the new rice bowls and i wouldn't recommend it. read more

Haven't been at the Regal Theater in a while due to traveling and so much on television to watch. I was surprised they really cleaned up the area and the Theater and the no longer post the name of shows on the bulletin board, so everyone can see what is playing at all the other rooms and even the individual theaters they don't put the name of what is playing inside instead they have different items they sell from the snack bar listed. It was pretty empty, not like before the huge crowd's waiting and walking to check out different movies playing at the other theater! Great idea! This regal has the only iMax theater nearby so I was very happy about that since I wanted to see the Odyssey. There is an attached parking garage but when leaving it can take time since multiple patrons leave at the same time. Parking is validated at the theater and was free. Older theater seating but all in all a good theater to catch a movie. read more

Saw The Odyssey here because my bf demanded to watch it here for the imax screens, normally we choose Consolidated Ward since it's closer to us. This was my first time coming to Regal Dole Cannery and I won't be coming back. I definitely prefer Consolidated Ward because it has recliner leather seats, tray tables, and free parking (Dole has free 4 hour parking but the lines to get out of the parking garage can max out that time after seeing a three hour movie and take cash only). Also I bought the combo (honestly bonus points to staff for getting our mobile food order done FAST) and I added butter to the popcorn, don't do that lol the butter tasted off. My bf thought it tasted fine but I had one bite and didn't eat more than that. If big screens are important enough to you that you're okay without a tray table then this place is fine. read more

Amazing staff under great leadership seeing the general manager system manager and other managers interact going to the movies almost every day along with the staff two or two things are amazing one is it's not clear the hierarchy and number two. Let me start by stating that this is not my favorite venue for watching a movie ... Here are my pros and cons ... Pros: 1) It's close to my office (downtown) so I can take in a movie after work. 2) There is plenty of parking ... Validate your ticket upon entry and parking is free. 3)The food at the concession area is good (enough for me). Cons: 1) The entrance to the parking lot has two gates. The one on the right forces you to veer to the left after entry. If you're not careful, you can curb your left rear wheel on the curbing. Don't ask how I know ... 2) The seats don't have a moveable table so eating can be problematic. The cup holder is on the left, which strikes me as strange as most people are right-handed. 3) Concession prices are high ... My 3-piece chicken tender meal and medium drink cost almost $25, more than the price of my ticket to see Enhypen's Walk the Line Summer Edition movie ($22, online). The surprises: 1) The staff are nice and friendly. This is not true at many theaters I frequent. 2) The Screen X feature was pretty good; not as good as IMAX, but better than the normal screen. What I wished for: 1) Alcoholic beverages (like at Ward Theaters). Sorry, no pics. read more

My recent visit to Dole theaters was not what I expected. I went during a weekday and the theater itself was empty which I loved. What I didn't like was the cleanliness of the lobby area, snack area, and theater. There was popcorn all over the ground in the lobby/food area. It looked and felt dirty. Just fyi- they have the smaller size hot dogs it's not the big movie hot dogs. The theater was also dirty. I didn't want to sit down. I had to use the bathroom when the movie was done but to be honest I held it just because I wanted to get out of the theater. I also didn't want to take the chance that the bathroom wasn't clean either. I won't be going back. read more

People who sit way in front play on their phone during the movie so I guess they have movie pass or something and with 100%percent brightness and those who broadcast their message app off their speakers during trailers. This Regal location wasn't too bad. The facility was pretty clean. It didn't have any funky smells or sticky floors. The employee working the ticket table was a bit lazy. She only sat there and was kind of pushy and not friendly. This employee didn't ask but told me to put my phone down on the table so she can scan my QR code tickets. She was rather rude in my opinion. The service at the food and beverage desk was pretty good. The line went by at a pretty good pace. The theater we sat in was clean and I didn't see debris on the floor and it wasn't sticky either. They need to upgrade the seats in all of the theaters. Wow! 1-8-25: so impressed by the condition of the theater we are in today to watch Harbin. The walls are a lavender plum color with Hawaiian motif and looks well done for acoustics Seats look newly upholstered, just can't recline. The theater lights were on brightly lit so you can easily find your seats without your phone flashlight. Good to be in a maintained theater chair. I could hear the AC just turn off must be on automatic setting. Glad I have a light sweater. read more

Unstoppable... Much needed break and what better than to see a movie, and thank you Nadine C for the invite for the Unstoppable screening at Regal Dole Canner, it's not the usual place that I frequent though Iwilei is a convenient location along with a whopping 4 hours of free parking with validation is more than enough time to watch any movie but with all that additional time it's a shame that there isn't much other restaurants or cafe nearby. It seems like the theaters are nice and clean but it does show how date it is in comparison to other locations as I struggled to hold my belongings without a table to put my popcorn and other items, along with the restroom stalls each had it's own issues making just one stall having a complete usable set lol! Though with promotions like discounted tickets on Tuesday for loyalty members are hard to resist filling your popcorn with the buttery goodness yourself are items that probably makes this place favorable the staff are nice and friendly and to enjoy a movie is a fun and relaxing vibe that brings folks together to talk about it all and what's better than that. Today decided to catch a movie Gladiator#2 at the Regal Dole Cannery . Been awhile at this particular theater for one thing not all their theaters have leather recliner chairs . Another look at their boxes so small you'll need 3-4 boxes just to fit a medium popcorn omg. Before I could remember they had big square boxes maybe they ran out. Also look at my bill on the screen it's so expensive pretty soon no one can afford to go to the movies lol . The only positive thing about this theater has lots of free ample parking with validation. Wow where to start.... the 'treats' we purchased were a joke for $53; tortilla chips in a bag that we had to open and then pour the melted cheese on for $15, the 2 slushie drinks and the pretzel that was hard as a rock (just a suggestion, don't microwave pretzels.....) and then the seats were hard and not modernized at all. We bought our tickets for Run Seok Jin online at Fandango. When we paid for tickets, fandango will email the tickets with QR code and text tickets with QR code. My friend was able to have Regal employee scan her ticket that I texted her. Movie was at theater 9 which didn't have name of movie listed. Theater was packed with BTS Army with army Lightstick and some who gave freebies. Our seats were at row K. It was awesome to see Kim Seokjin on the screen at live concert from Amsterdam. I love to come to Dole Regal because they have a lot of parking and very easy to access. Just make sure you stamp your parking ticket. Like many other theaters in town, you can purchase ticket in advance by using the app however, you have to pay roughy about five dollar processing fee. They also offer discount for senior citizen if you are 60 years older. I could be wrong, but I believe this theater is one of the few that still have the IMAX screen which I enjoy when I watch major blockbuster such as mission impossible that we watched tonight. read more

Haven't been to a movie theater in a long time but the ones here are pretty clean. The bathrooms were extremely clean. The people working here was super nice. I had some issues with the regal rewards but the person at the front redirected me and helped me out. No problems really affordable. Came by easy to find seats. Used to come here all the time, 4D screens honestly are the best, also great location next all the crackheads and homeless that are very aggressive. Specially at night, Customer service is overal great but membership has become incredible expensive, paying 25 dollars at month doesn't really get you anything cause you still have to pay an extra 5-10 dollars depending if the theater is 3d or X or 4D. Facility is great clean overall, staff is friendly, but after watching Spider-Man and watching a very weird version or maybe the current version where the actors speak for over 10 minutes about queens medical jobs with insurance and co pays and bunch of other weird shit is just making me question if movies have just gone to crpp. Also I had to ask managers to turn the 3d on cause it wasn't. Idk very weird experience on September 10 2026. I do appreciate the Moana cup. Thank you. But I would definitely be canceling my membership. Also I thought I was gonna get like a free month after purchasing 3 months I never got anything. I feel little disappointed on the fake advertising. read more

I like coming here because parking is easy- large lot and lots of spaces. Just make sure to validate your ticket at the theater because I hear the hourly amount is high. You can either get your tickets at the screens in the front or at the concession stand. Another perk is that this theater is cheaper than Consolidated and super discounted tickets on Tuesday. Food is okay-cheese burger and fries is what I usually get. It's not the best (burger is dry) but the steak fries are good The theaters themselves are older-kinda dingy without the tables. Guess they even out the lower ticket prices. The staff are pretty nice and friendly. Also Regal plays movies not shown at Consolidated and has showings of Metropolitan opera as well as off the radar movies. read more

My favorite theater! Once you go 4DX you won't want to watch movies the old way ever again. I love the special effects it offers while watching. It makes you feel like you're right in the movie. Make sure to get there early so you can eat before the show. The special effects can make it hard to eat. I wouldn't advise 4DX if you have injuries or get motion sickness. I always get my tickets online. This location has a parking garage. You can take your parking ticket inside to get stamped for free parking. The theater is not usually packed. The concession stand is quick. They have all the snacks and food options. I brought the refillable bucket and cup. Which has an expiration date on it. The date is the last day of the year you purchased it. It also states they have the right to refuse refilling the buckets due to cleanliness. Go take your family, they will love it! read more

It's been awhile since I've come to see a movie at this theater. The last time I came, the chairs were old and the place felt and looked old and dated. So I was surprised to see that this theater appears to have been updated and renovated. The theater room I sat in had new seats. Not the recliner type, but nevertheless, definitely not old or chafed seats. A welcomed surprise. The screen and wall decor appear updated as well. Workers are nice / helpful, and the lobby area is fine but when we went to watch the movie (in theater 15) it smelled like straight cat pee and was the hottest theater I've ever been in. This was a quick movie. Less than 2 hours. Straight to the point and pretty funny. Btw, I wouldn't recommend any CHILDREN attending this movie or if your a parent with specific morals, DONT WATCH IT! It more for adults. And even SOME ADULTS seemed offended on the content in this movie. We sat next to a family of 4. A mother with her 3 older kids. They looked about 14-17 years old. Give or take 2 years. But the point is... I was sitting by the son and HE was super uncomfortable in some scenes. He was kind of covering his ears and groaning like... "OH MY GOD I can't believe I'm watching this with my mom sitting next to me" attitude. Then he also rubbed his head like he wanted to leave or crawl into a hole somewhere and hide. So, I wouldn't recommend parents taking their kids, nor would I recommend any teens watching this movie with your parents either. Not unless your one of those families who aren't ashamed of being up front, honest & open about everything with each other, then maybe you have a shot! It was short & basic but it had a lot... and I mean A LOT of vulgar, provocative, immoral & improper sexual content. Only thing is... the movie is based on DOGS and NOT HUMANS. YET, its what us humans would think of how a dog would react in certain situations. The honesty of their thoughts rather than them behaving like their owners or looking like them. If humans could understand dogs, this is the movie that give these canines a voice. I guess its MORE OF AN EXPLICIT VERSION OF THE CARTOON MOVIE PETS. However, my hubby & I both had a good time & as I said before... I'm glad my teens didn't come along. I pre-bought popcorn at the kiosk only to find out that I had to wait in the long freakin line anyways. Simple fix, someone who pre purchase their food should just be able to pick it up. I went to watch the mystery movie today in the auditorium 9 and I must say as you walk in, it really stunk. It smelt like mildew . If it wasn't for the JP movie that I wanted to watch , I would have left. The entire auditorium smelt bad. It just over all felt dirty as well.
