I love how they revamped this movie theater! It used to be amc but now it's a regal! The chairs were super comfortable and reclinable! They have servers that come to your seats and take your order and the they bring it to you as well! Our server was spectacular! They have a bar too unfortunately it was still closed when we went but I cant wait to go back and check it out. The popcorn comes in one size which isn't bad for 10 bucks. I look forward to Coming back again

Listen I love this movie theater. It's cozy but the best part is the service. You sit down and they come to take your order and bring everything before the movie starts. I've been back three times and left happy every single time. I love that the menu is curated to the movies including the drinks. Every time I went I was able to get the cocktail that matched the movie I was watching. The pizza has been my fave things off the menu.

Apparently this is the very first Regal Bistro in the country and I'm glad I came and gave it an opportunity. The seats are incredibly comfortable, better than AMC theater movie recliners. The headrest move separately to accommodate your head angle and it also reclines. We got to our seats and were greeted by our server Mary. She gave us the run down of the menu and everything. Downside to this place at the moment is that they don't have a full bar YET, BUT, it will be coming soon. I don't think I've enjoyed coming to the movies as much as I did that day. A+ for me. Despite having food and appetizers other than the normal movie essentials, the theater was very clean and the seats were too. Just make sure not to fall asleep because the seats are just that good!

Had such a lovely time at the newly renovated Regal Bistro at the Falls. Everyone was so helpful and friendly. When you walk in, there are kiosks to the right to buy tickets and then someone scans your ticket. You then enter the beautiful bar restaurant area before making your way to the theaters. We were greeted as we walked into the theater, they helped us find our seats and someone took our food/drink order right away. Menu options in the photos. The seats reclined and were very comfy. The theater and seats were clean. We were served quickly and the Cobb Salad wrap I had was absolutely delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Perfect spot for a date, solo date, or an outing with friends and family!

Came in on a Tuesday and the theater was empty which is great because there's no big crowds and it's super relaxing . Not many options with movies just three popular ones. We got the recliner theater and it was great , super comfortable!

We recently visited the newly renovated Regal Bistro location at The Falls and had an excellent experience overall. We saw Marty Supreme, and from start to finish the theater delivered. The space feels fresh and clean, the seating is comfortable, and the overall atmosphere is a noticeable upgrade. Service was friendly and efficient throughout our visit. A tip for future guests: arrive early. The expanded food and drink options are worth exploring, and giving yourself extra time makes the experience much more relaxed. We ordered a variety of items including milkshakes, cheese bites, burgers, and more. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The only miss was the margherita pizza, which did not live up to the rest of the menu. Still, with so many solid options, it did not detract much from the experience. Overall, this newly renovated Regal is a great addition to The Falls. Clean facilities, strong service, and good food make it a place we would confidently recommend, and we will absolutely be back!!!!!

Dumb manager who took his tag off

I wish I knew his name but the main Issues in this photo right here where he took his name tag right away cause he is wrong why would you take it off if you know you're right , right????!!!! He wouldn't take our order when we're sitting down at the lobby waiting for our movie that starts at 3:45 and we were there at 1 and got our tickets and we should've went inside to the movie that was already on so than this white that's a manager i would never dealt with but once we choose to wait we walking around the falls and we came back and wanted to wait inside it was getting hot I have seizures so I said let's go inside it's getting very hot , the falls is a out door mall so you can get hot easily and we did into the the regal lobby and there's the scan on the tables to place an order but it doesn't go to the damn part where says place an order it only shows the menu which is so stupid so I kept getting up to ask how do I place an order and they said you do on the app. and we tried it didn't work and than again I said we don't have a card to be able to do it cause some of us don't my mom doesn't and her nurse has it but some of us don't and we can't use her nurses card if she won't let us either and I said can you guys come to us when I was sitting down waving at them and they were only looking at me standing there and than walked off to do a drink order of the people inside the movie theater, that's fine they could say anything wait a moment we're taking orders we will be with you soon instead of just standing there looking at me and when I walked up they were still saying it's on the website and I said I don't know how and than I wanted to talk to this damn crap in this photo that didn't help at all . He said I gotta leave cause I did say fuck so you guys can't walk over to us and take our order ??? And he just didn't like I said fuck so we had to leave but I was already walking back and fourth 5 times to the bar and than to the table and you can see in the farther picture I took he has the name tag on and he took it off right away when I said what's your name . The first time I went was good since I ordered the tickets online and we went at the right time and got food in the theater even though it was taking awhile it was nicer in the theater but this place is not worth going to since you gotta wait so long to be served , why have so many theaters with only 6 employees standing around when I was talking to him so they can listen to what I was saying . I couldn't believe how they can't just come over to us . They wanted me to me an employee and walk back and fourth to the table and get my family's order and walk back to the bar and would wanted me to walk back again to the table I'm sure with the food . ‍‍ smh like what kind of service is that when they put on signs we will serve you . Like look at the way he's standing he knows he's wrong

There are poster displays showcasing the "now playing" and "coming soon" movies. There are ticket discounts for seniors and matinees and students. Been her at least 3 or 4 times for different movies. Ticketing is the same as any theater, pay at the front. Once inside you have your concession stand filled with lots of goodies. You can now purchase full meals instead of old school snacks like popcorn, nachos, and hot dogs. You can get burgers, chicken sandwiches, loaded fries, mozzarella sticks , and so much more. They even sell beer and wine now..WTF?!! Prices have gone up as a purchase of just a damn hot dog and soda is around $10. My suggestion is eat before you come or be prepared to come out your pockets for some greasy snacks. Yeah you know sometimes a movie is just better with buttery popcorn and a cool drink, LOL. Once inside the actual theater there were plenty of comfy seating. They were spacious and rocked back and forth and equipped with a drink holder that fit every size. We chose the standard screen so there was no surround sound but trust me the sound and picture were on point. Nevertheless I've always enjoyed all the movies I've seen here. And being that it's in the mall you can kill time if you arrive to early and walk around to shop or go grab some food with the surrounding restaurants or food court in the mall.

He looks it up. After he slowly gets me my order and I provide various corrections, he states the hot food can be picked up at the other end. By 8:35pm I still don't have my order completed. I ask if there is a manager, I'm told there are two. One is the guy that was serving me. I asked about the timing on my order the manager said he doesn't track that because he isn't the kitchen manager. I ask for a refund and he comes out with food...while waiting for my delayed order to be addressed and another family is in line requesting ticket refunds because the sound went out in their movie. Otherwise the kiddos had a great time watching Michael and on Tuesdays the tickets are $6.99, so that is a plus.

The concession has the usual: hot dogs, popcorn, icee, etc. I think what knocked a star off my review was the costumer service. First I asked the attendant if the nacho cheese was spicy, he assured me it wasn't and gave me the slightest attitude. When he brought it over I quickly read the ingredients and there it was, Jalapeño (I can't have that for health reasons). Then after we paid for the icee he told us it was not ready, he said it would be 5 min... it was 15. No apologies or anything. We asked if someone could bring it since our movie was starting, and there were 5 of them behind the counter and no line, he said no. Sigh. Anyways, the theater itself was lovely but the experience at the concession stand deflated the mood. And having to miss part of the movie to go out and get the icee, was disappointing.

This is the Coconut Grove Playhouse. It was once the epicenter of the Miami theater scene. It opened on January 3, 1927 as part of the Paramount movie theater with a D.W. production of Satan of Sorrows. The 1,130 seat theater was designed by architect Richard Kiehnel of Kiehnel and Elliott. It was built by Miami local realtors Irving J. Thomas and Fin L. Pierce. Albert Peacock served as the contractor. The building originally had seven stores on the first floor, ten offices, on the second floor, and a third story of apartments. It was the second movie theatre on the east coast of Florida to be air conditioned. It also had the largest Wurlitzer organ in the United States. Although now blue, the original color of the building was sienna. In the 1930's the theater closed due to the Florida land boom bust, an economic downturn caused by two hurricanes and the Great Depression. During WWII the theater found new purpose as a school to train Air Force navigators. After the war the building was again closed until 1955 when George Engle, an oilman spent one million dollars on the theater to remodel it to accommodate the Coconut Grove Playhouse, Miami's first live theater. The renovated theater reopened on January 3, 1956, with the U.S. premiere of Samuel Beckett's existential play, Waiting for Godot starring Bert Lahr and Tom Ewell. Financial success eluded Engle in the ensuing years and the theater again closed in 1960. Producer Zev Buffman bought the building in March 1966 for more than $1 million. In 1970, former actor Eddie Bracken and his associates purchased the building. When Bracken's group failed to pay its debts, the Playhouse was sold at auction at the county courthouse. Arthur Cantor and Robert Fishko purchased the theater, and opened it for the 1971-72 winter season. Cantor and Fishko sold their interests in 1977. In 1980 the State of Florida became the owners. In 2004 the title was transferred to the Coconut Grove Playhouse LLC Inc. Through the years many famous people have performed at the theater including Jessica Tandy, Tallulah Bankhead, Carol Channing, Liza Minnelli, Linda Lavin, Bea Arthur, George C. Scott, Colleen Dewhurst, and Ethel Merman. On November 22, 1996, the Late Show with David Letterman originated from the theater. In 2005 the Coconut Grove Playhouse was designated historic by the City of Miami's Historic and Environmental Preservation Board. Four million dollars in debt, the theater abruptly closed in 2006. It has not been used since. In 2013 The Actors Playhouse in Coral Gables and the University of Miami were able to get inside and rescue many of the items including costumes, playbills, documents, and posters. The items are being stored at the University of Miami. The Playhouse was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2018. It is so sad to see this majestic building with so much history shuttered. A master plan to renovate the theater was approved by Miami's Environmental and Historic Board on April 4, 2017 but it was appealed. Since then nothing has been done as the building is broken into by vagrants and allowed to rot. Miami has so many beautifully preserved historic buildings. I have faith that they will get it together eventually.
