This was not a relaxing enjoyable experience. When I got home and looked at my nails, there is nail polish on my skin. Also taking cutting implements out of blue liquid is telling me that they aren't sterilized. Would not recommend this salon. This is by far the worst pedicure I have ever had and I've had many.

When I was visiting my daughter in Lexington, I had a window. I called and was lucky they could take me; I think this place is usually pretty busy and may be hard to get walk-in. There were three different people who did parts: 1) woman who did the dremel to remove the gel; she was very careful, 2) man who did the pedicure except for the polish, 3) younger woman who did the polish. I assume they have different strengths. The man did such a great job making my feet and legs feel amazing. I was so relaxed and normally I feel like my pedicure are mostly just functional to have my toes painted nicely. The polish was just fine. Price was reasonable. The place feels friendly. I think the owners' kids were there. None of the people who worked on my pedicure talked with me much, but that's okay.

I was greeted immediately upon entry, asked which services I wanted, and directed to select a nail polish color. The environment was festive with a television playing the CBS news station. Other patrons were happily chatting with nail technicians and one another. I was directed to a pedicure chair which also featured massage controls. The area was really clean and orderly. My nail tech was attentive and asked questions about nail health. My toe nails were cut short and she suggested that I grow them out more. The pedicure process was relaxing and thorough. She cleaned, rinsed, and sanitized the bowl while giving me a temporary set of flip flops to transition to the nail table. I selected maroon for both my finger and toe nails. At one point, I believe the nail tech recommended gel polish for my toes, but I did not understand due to her accent. Again, she recommended gel polish for my fingernails and matched the colors with my toe nail colors. She said that gel polish lasted longer. While checking to ensure my nails were dry, she smudged the right pinky finger and worked to correct the error. Other than that, the session was relaxing and enjoyable. Another male attendant joked with me while checking out and paying the bill. The other patrons smiled and laughed at him. I was welcomed back and thanked for coming before I left.

I'm the kind of client that pays attention; I asked him to clean out the sides of my big toe - he said he did, I must not have seen him do it. I then asked him if he was going to shape my toes - he said he did, that I was being too picky! Asked me what I wanted - I told him I wanted both of my toes to look the same! Said again I was too picky and not to ask for him next time! I told him I didn't ask for him; tried to make an appointment with Myra, but no one answered the phone! Once he was done with the cleaning part and massage part, he went str to the polish, no base coat -I asked him was he not going to put a base coat on before the polish? He stated they don't put a base coat on unless it's a gel!! I told him, I came here all the time - first time Im hearing this! Needless to say I won't be back!! Also, they had their in one of the chairs that pissed in one of the chairs!! Nope, won't be baCJ! This is nasty!!
