Having just got this app, I'm somewhat shocked to see this rating and feel the need to stand up for them. Who knew so many divas would dain to go into a Walmart nail salon in NH? I have to say that I don't have the most experiencce with nail salons. I'm not originally from the area, but up in the sticks and besides a few weddings I rarely went into a nail salon and when I did, I usually left thinking I got ripped off. When I moved down here for a post office job about 4 years ago I was getting pretty desperate for a solution to brittle nails constantly getting damaged into the nail bed and bleeding from sorting packages and general hand abuse that went with the job. I went onto google and found this place. I went to Walmart for my cheapo depot shopping anyways, so I figured I'd give it a shot. Like I said, inexperienced with all things nails, but having done some reading, I started with shellac on fingers and toes. At the time I basically didn't have a pinkie nail because I'm incompetent at doing these things myself, though I *really* tried for years. For toes, this was exellent. Lasts a whole month. This I've done ever since and could not go back. My feet and toes have not ever looked better and it's 100% to the credit of the staff here nursing them to a pretty state. Fingers, however... 2 days. I use my hands. I've tried store bought and other salons, so this is a me thing, not a them thing. So I did a little digging online and then I asked a nice lady that works there named Wendy about acrylics and my predicament. She introduced me to a man named Tom that works there and that does them and got my first french acrylic mani. Now, my fingers were in a pretty sorry state at this point as well. I wasn't expecting much, but they looked great and I was at least happy with that. I kid you not, next day I shut my nail in my car door. It didn't even scratch it. Basically indestructable and that was the end of my constantly bandaged and grisly fingernails. Now, a few years back I moved away for a few months and let me tell yoy, trying to replace regal nails was impossible. Nice salons, cheap salons, all shoddy work with a varrying price tag. When I moved back I was so happy to return to regal nails. This place is a diamond in the rough and they do excellent work. Besides those few months, I've never even thought about straying. This combo lasts me an entire month. An. Entire. Month. I've thown out every home nail tool I have and I haven't done anything to my nails myself in about 4 or 5 years now. It's $80 and I always tip them $20 or more because that's what other salons were robbing me of or more and these guys actually deserve it. I've never made an appointment since I'm regularly late to the ones I do make and walk in all days and hours of the week. Tom has never not been there to do my mani and I've never been disappointed by anyone's pedicure work. This is consistently what it looks like when they're done and I get a ton of compliments on them. Now, for the actual place, it's not going to shock you with it's atmospheric brilliance, but it's comfortable and clean despite what some of the people on here have said. There are massage chairs for pedicures and big plushy rolling chairs at desks for manicures. There's also wifi in building, though it's obviously not top of the line, it works. A lot of people seem to know this is a gem because it's sometimes absolutely packed and a lot of them are return customers because they know their technician's names. Mornings early week seem to be quieter, but it fluxuates. You might not have to wait, but usually not long and they'll make sure you're comfortable. Sometimes people make scenes about this and honestly... It's embarrassing and shameful. Don't. These guys work hard and you shouldn't come in expecting preference because you only have 20 min. Make an appointment if it's that big a deal. Some people are talkative and the staff are happy to chat back. I'm not that kind of person. I'm socially awkward and suck at small talk. The staff know me at this point and just let me listen to my audiobooks on my headphones while they do their work. Some people seem to mind and get offended or uncomfortable, but they don't. I appreciate that. I'll keep going back as long as they're open and still offer what I get. TLDR: They have grwat staff that do excellent work at a price you can't compete with at a convenient location, but maybe not for princess instagram. read more

I enjoy coming here. Yes it's in a Walmart. However, the staff is always accommodating and will do their best to ensure you are happy with your mani/pedi. People who complain seem to have unrealistic expectations at times. I have been to high end salons and paid much higher prices elsewhere for a similar or worse outcome. If you can do better, don't come and complain. It makes for an uncomfortable visit for those of us who just want to sit and relax. Everyone here work their butts off! Always willing to stay and have even skipped meals to make sure everyone is taken care of. I appreciate the hard work. read more

Don't bother. They shove as many people in here as possible and it isn't that clean. Even if you have an appointment you have to wait. The people that work there are rude. My daughter has special needs and walked out in tears because the woman that did her nails told her it was her fault that there was a spot that needed to be redone. We will be finding a place that treats customers like human beings no matter what. read more

Dirty salon. Concerned that not all technicians have licenses posted. Big sign that says "tip in cash only" also concerning. For my own protection I had to speak up and point out unclean practices more than once. Wish board of health would make them clean up their practice. read more

The upside is that the services are inexpensive. The downsides are: (1) it is in the Walmart; (2) it is dirty; (3) there is a moldy/mildew smell that may be coming from the bowls where you are expected to put your feet; (4) the nail polish is old, causing inconsistent application (likely why touch-ups after the fact are necessary). The woman who did my nails was nice enough, but the atmosphere, massage, and result left much to be desired. Even the massage chairs were uncomfortable. Bummer. read more

I've been here a few times before and it was adequate, but today it was just blah. Their customer service leaves a lot to be desired, and sadly I don't think they care. I'm pretty sure I'll drive a little farther down the road next time. read more

When you get your nails done here be prepared to come back for touch ups.... They don't do quite as good as you'd like the first time.... Plus they don't speak very good English... read more

Read before going there!!! I went in to get a full set of acrylic nails done but once I walked in none of the staff was properly wearing a mask or fixed their mask once I entered the store. Also, it was incredibly dusty and dirty. I could see the layers of dust in the walls! Nothing was organized or straightened it seemed very chaotic. Well getting my nails done by the gentleman there he used regular scissors to cut done the extensions I was getting which is not the proper way to cut extension and he did a super poor job at shaping the extensions and he struggled to apply the acrylic to my nails. Then, a female staff member walked in with wet hair dye in her hair which she processed to wash out in the sink!!! That was my breaking point. It was incredibly unprofessional and unsanitary but that's not all though she insulted me by saying my hands where sticky which was because the gentleman got glue on them from applying the extensions and did not bother to get the glue off my hand. I payed for the service and left but I will never be going back and will be telling others about my experiences there. I was super mad and disgusted with the business once I left. read more

My Mom and I came here today and had a blast. Great friendly staff. My Mom doesn't go often and they were very nice and accommodating.

Just had the worst manicure here ever! She hardly soaked my gel manicure to remove the old gel. She then picked, scraped and peeled the gel off - leaving my nails in horrible condition! I will NEVER go back here. When I complained that they had not soaked enough and I was worried she was damaging my nails - that's when she decided she could not understand English. She then took a call on her cell phone (half way through my manicure) and proceeded to speak and laugh Korean through the rest of my time there. Save yourself and your nails! Really upset! Last week got talked into get gel nails and within a week came off and broke. Went back and had acrylic put on and they look horrible. So after $80 I have to go elsewhere to get them redone. Been a customer for some time but not anymore read more

I completely disagree with the negative reviews! I have been coming to Regal nails for 3 years and have seen how they interact with customers...very warm and welcoming and always trying to accommodate everyone! I am a perfectionist and Tom, who does my nails, is too! I always leave a happy customer. Don't let those negative reviews stop you from coming to this great nail salon! read more

Went in for a shellac mani and the guy that did mine totally butchered my nails. When taking off my previous shellac he barely let them soak and than hacked at them and ended up scraping off part of my real nails! It hurt. He didn't speak any English so it was hard to communicate my concerns. I should say the time before that one of the girls did my shellac mani and she did a fine job and was very nice. Be cautious.. DO NOT buy Gift certificates from Regal Nails ! They will tell you when you go to use it that its not theirs. they are " New " owners even though it says Regal Nail salon on the card and has NO EXPIRATION date! Never again! read more

Got scammed at this place. I went in with shellac french manicure to be removed (from a wedding) and asked for manicure/pedicure. Cost was posted as $36... or maybe it was $38. Got the pedicure while they were soaking fingernails to get shellac off. After pedicure they needed to use the cylinder metal filer (don't know what it is called) to remove rest of shellac. He said he'd give me pink and white french manicure...the colors I wanted. But then he started to put powder on my nails.... and liquid on a brush. I've never seen that process before and didn't know what it was. He kept saying it was a pink and white French manicure. I thought maybe it was a new type of technique. I'm not a regular at nail salons. Near the end of the process he told me the price... $72 for everything (plus tip, which I gave.... because he did spend a lot of time on me and the nails did look good). BUT despite the fact that my nails look good, although thick and fake looking,.... I believe I was duped. I researched what this was and found out it is acrylics!!! He wanted me back in 3 weeks to get them "peeled" for $25. I won't be going back. The acrylics are most likely going to ruin my nails. I want real nails with French manicure... as in... nail polish. Grrrrrr. I won't be going back and now I need to go back to trying to find a reputable nail salon to help me in a few weeks to peel or what ever else they need to do to get this stuff off. read more
