We hoped as we got away from the concessions maybe it would lighten up but unfortunately that wasnt the case. We went to the upstairs theater. When walking into the stairway the smell of rats was so intense, my whole group talked about it. We all live in trailers, the occasional mouse obviously gets in and its an unmistakable scent that hits you so hard just in the stairway. This hall was also littered around the risers with rat feces. It made eating the stale popcorn that much more unappealing. Finally, in the theater, we sat in the middle section near the middle of the room. The rat smell only got more intense here. We kept our feet in the seats from the fear of what may run across our foot. It was THAT bad. The cherry on top? The movie was played at such a low volume, we could hear the rats running around inside the walls and ceiling more than we could hear the horror film we were watching. We all sat folded up in our seats because the armrests would peel your skin off they were so sticky. All in all, the popcorn was gross, The floors were disgusting, they have a rat infestation to make your dog cry, the movie was too quiet, there was visible rat feces in the floor, the chairs weren't clean and did it mention the smell that made your nostrils regret life itself? I have never written a review. I Definitely haven't written a bad one but Im not going back. It was a 0/10 experience. If it continues like it is i expect this business to close soon. So sad for a place that was once so iconic to Winchester.

Came to see "Beast" which seems to be a pretty good movie thus far... Upon arrival I went to the concession stand to order concessions only to be told it would be a 20-25 minute wait for the funnel cake. I went ahead with the order and was told I would be called when it was ready...I waited over 30 minutes for the call, which is fine since it's fresh. Only to get to the counter and find my funnel cake sitting there rather brown and hard as if it had been cooked way too long. Nothing cake or soft about it. Every bite was nothing but a sweet greasy crunch. Due to already missing some of the movie to retrieve it I decided to just throw it away and not go and request a remake. Definitely was a wasted $6. The young lady at the ticket booth was rather sweet and showed great customer service. If you come to the drivein I hope when you order a funnel cake it's nothing like this. Hopefully, you'll at least be able to enjoy it!

The carpets didn't have stains, no trash on the floor (or not much anyway). Ceiling tiles are stylized and new looking. Lighting on the walls was on the fancy side. Good painted designs on the walls. For the smaller size, there are at least 6 theaters on the lower floor and more on the second. The new seats are nice and comfortable. The bathrooms were also well kept. The theater itself was very clean and well lit. The projector (which is at least 4K resolution) was bright, perfectly focused, and centered on the screen. The sound was not too loud and climate was not too cold, just right in my opinion. Prices are also reasonable and as with most places, going to the mid-afternoon matinee with save you a few dollars. Matinees as of July 2022 seem to be $8.50 for adults with night showings at $11. Ticket and snack prices are on the lower side compared to larger chain theaters. I learned this theater has some history and the owner, Dave, did a great job with the remodel. I've met him personally and the theater also does some community outreach with FNB Mortgage and other Murfreesboro businesses. I've added a photo of the menu as of July 2022. I'll be coming back for sure.

This was several years ago. Today was my first visit and was pleasantly surprised -- very clean, well maintained and comfortable.
