Absolutely delicious Jamaican cuisine! If you haven't stopped by do yourself a favor... try them out! The owner is VERY friendly and kindhearted! We tired almost everything on his truck. The fried fish, oxtails, and jerk chicken! We'll definitely be back for more!!

This food truck is amazing. I have been craving Jamaica food and this beauty pops up. The flavors are amazing and the amount they give you for $10 is a helluva deal. I got the Jerk Chicken, Rice & Peas and Veggies. I was shock to see TWO full size (smoked) breast in my carry out trey. Great experience and I will recommend this truck to others.

This food truck is hands down the best Jamaican authentic food ever!! We got Oxtails, jerk chicken and curry goat!! The jerk chicken flavor was out of the world and the tenderness was so succulent. No complaints for the curry goat and the Oxtails were juicy and flavorful!! Definitely took pics and shared on all my social media!

Where can this food truck be tracked? I love Caribbean food but have nothing close by.

I just called them and they are no longer in the DMV area.

I had a negative experience at their newly opened location and the owner never bothered to speak with me about it or make things right despite good faith efforts to reach him. My order was cancelled after already confirming with their staff that the order would be made. Then they cancelled it saying the items were out of stock after waiting an hour. How is that even possible? I guess you don't cook the food or check until the dasher arrives? I am appalled at the way the owner treated the situation by ultimately deciding not to make things right. I left messages and made good faith attempts to contact the owner to ask if I could discuss my experience. He decided to call me once during a time when I said I wasn't available (which I told their staff to inform the owner) and when I tried to contact him at the agreed upon time he didn't respond. The most shocking part is that the manager told me the owner is ultimately not going to address the experience due to a negative Google review I posted. Reviews are supposed to be honest experiences of customers and not be held or used against the customer in an effort to make a bad experience right. With Jamaican breeze, they do NOT care about the customer experience and take reviews too personally, which is alarming. This is unprofessional and disappointing and not at all how you attract or retain customers. For the prices they charge it's not worth your time, money, or the hassle to deal with poor service such as this. I would NOT recommend if you want reliable, cheaper, better value, and tastier Jamaican food go check out Jammin Island BBQ in Springfield they have never disappointed.

This came recommended as the best authentic Jamaican restaurant for Rasta pasta in all of DMV…read more Absolutely NOT. The salmon Rasta pasta first of all was priced one on the menu but at the register $3 more. They weren't hearing it and not gentle or caring so I just hurried and ordered. Well, turns out they're not worth it nor a return visit anyway. The Rasta pasta was gross. It was literally SO SALTY and spicy I couldn't enjoy or finish it all at home. Not to mention I've never seen Rasta pasta topped with shredded mozzarella cheese it looked strange. Nothing is beating nyc Rasta pasta. I don't recommend this restaurant.

So happy a fellow Yelpie reviewed this restaurant as I was craving Jamaican food. This is a go-to…read morespot I recommend everyone! So far it's the best in the area! The team is always so lovely with service. They let me try things my first visit and they're fast. I tried the jerk chicken & curry chicken patties, the jerk one is delicious I personally didn't like the other. I will say last time I got the jerk patty it seemed like less chicken and I'd prefer it less ground. I only ever order the curry chicken lunch as it's affordable and sizable they went up a dollar recently but it's so delicious. They sell Jamaican ice creams as well by pint I'll try them soon. I've had those in nyc so I'm sure they're great. The Guinness beer flavor is surprisingly good. Go, enjoy!!!

Next, this place have quality chicken, but you never know what they have left for the day. As far as I know, this is the only real authentic Caribbean restaurant in Woodbridge VA. However, they are not consistent with their menu items. For example, I ordered a chicken roti. It usually has chicken, chickpeas, potatoes, and loads of spices. On 01/10/25 the waiter ask if I wanted chickpeas, I said yes, this was unusual. Normally, it's a given. When I got home, all I had was a plain roti with chicken. When I call to complain, the same person said they perhaps ran out of chickpeas and potatoes as if it was not a issue. Why wouldn't the chef disclose this upfront? This is not the first time they were out of menu items, but normally they let you know. The fact that I experienced this more than once, I cannot continue to support this establishment.

We had said we were going to get oxtail at some point, and saw that this place sold it. So we decided to meet up here one day. I was surprised to see that it was inside the mall's food court -- I have only ever seen one other place with this setup (RIP Ya Mon). You could either order with the staff directly or on their kiosk, I love options. My friend and I decided to share the oxtail platter with steamed cabbage and rice and peas. I was impressed... Easily the best Jamaican food I've had in VA so far. Oxtails were cooked and flavored just right -- I was missing my favorite coconut taste from the rice and peas but that's okay. Cabbage was great. I told my friend to try a beef patty in coco bread. It was within the last hour before they closed, so they were out of both of those things, so he just got a chicken patty. Unfortunately it was pretty doughy and I wouldn't recommend that, but that wasn't originally what we had intended for him to get anyway. Hey, if you are near Springfield Mall, you are in good hands. There is one more Caribbean spot in the area I need to try, but I don't think it's going to be as good as this one.

Our concern is that something may come up and we'll miss getting the food we paid for. Well... We went when they opened for business. There was only one person working in the truck. He took our order and said it would be ready in 10 minutes. Meanwhile, some people who did order online came to pick up their food...no problem. We ordered 1 Island burger which, according to the menu, had cheese, a pineapple slice and pineapple mango blaze sauce. For the side dish, I chose plantains. Also, we got 1 Classic American cheeseburger which the menu said came with your choice of toppings. My husband chose fries for his side. We got upstairs and noticed that instead of plantains, fries were given. Sigh... I went back downstairs and told the man that he didn't give me my plantains. He corrected that mistake and apologized. As for the food --- For me, the plantains were the best item. Even though a few were overcooked, they still retained their softness in the middle and the sweet taste that comes from sauteeing them. The Island burger underdelivered when it came to ingredients. There was no pineapple slice. The pineapple-mango blaze merely consisted of some small diced piece of mango. Plus, there was some shredded lettuce and red onions. The Classic American cheeseburger ended up with lettuce and onions on it. The fries were okay. Both of us agreed that the burger patties were overcooked and dried out. So...a decent enough meal but nothing to write home about it. This truck attracted more attention than others that came to our building. With only one person working on the truck, I can imagine he got overwhelmed as the evening progressed. While we don't regret ordering from them, we will give it a pass should they return to our building

Desiring to get away to the Caribbean without having to travel far? Well this place just might hit…read morethat spot. You get that Island feel and ambiance with the decor, the music, and the food. We've already been to this location a handful of times, so here are a few reasons we keep coming back. The service here has been exceptionally well. We're greeted with a warm welcome upon entering and they're usually able to seat us right away. Our waiters have been friendly, accommodating, and attentive during our dining experience. We've utilized their high chairs for our littles, and they've been helpful in setting it up for us. We're usually here during their happy hour on the weekdays because it's half off their appetizers and some of their drinks are between $4-$7. Our favorite apps are: Beef Empanadas, Yuca Cheese Fries, Creamy Spinach & Artichoke Dip, and their Coconut Shrimp. For our entree, in the past we've ordered: Grilled Chicken with Cilantro-Crema, Jerk Chicken Pasta, Grilled Salmon and their Applewood Bacon & Cheddar Burger. Everything comes out consistently hot and delicious. I would say that the Grilled Chicken lacks some seasoning, esp for a Caribbean themed restaurant. Other than that, there are lots of tasty flavors and spices that can get your palate going. The restrooms are toward the back and they've been in decent condition. Most of the time, the toilets and sinks are functioning and their soaps and paper products are usually stocked. There's a changing table in the women's restroom. Overall, our experience here has been satisfactory. The food and service is great and the price is even greater when you take advantage of their happy hour, which we highly recommend!
