    Skirt Steak Churrasco

This is my second time at this location, it was a group of 6 of us. I picked this location because I do like the vibe, I like the curb appeal and the ambiance is pretty nice there but when it comes to the food, I am convinced I am not ordering the right things or the things I like. I read reviews and get the things people say is good then when I get it I don't like it. Our server was nice enough to recommend things to us. It was really helpful. I got the the skirt steak churrasco. I wanted to get the Cuban sandwich but I changed my mind last minute. I don't eat a lot of seafoods, I only eat certain fishes, If I did, I would have gotten shrimp because I heard they are good. 2 people in our group got the Jamaican jerk chicken and they loved it. I should have gotten the jerk chicken too. Other than that the rest of us thought our foods was okay, a bit tasteless. I have been to the Bahamas before and loved the food I had there but this was a little different for me. Next time I won't change my mind and stick to what I really wanna eat. We got the ultimate pina colada and it was pretty good. I plan on going back to try some of the appetizers. Overall, great experience. It was a busy Saturday night. I did reserve a table a day before and we were seated right away.

Visited the Potomac mills location and had the chowder for dinner. Very delicious. My concern, or more so, an observation. I have sat at the bar to eat and drink many times over the years and it has always disturbed me that the drink machines are on the floor. I asked a bartender if bending over multiple times per shift bothered their back, and they confirmed it did but it was a part of the job. It seems this restaurant would realize this is back breaking work and move the machines up to a workable height. How much trouble could this possibly be? And why are customers drinks so close to potential floor splash? Shouldn't the food inspectors flag this as a violation of sorts? I certainly dont order drinks from those machines because of all that I have discussed above. Bahama Breeze do better. I will be back to see if they are concerned enough to relocate the machines up higher.

Location/Ambiance 4/5- Next to the mall so you get plenty of parking. The inside is nice and remind you of a restaurant on the island with outside seating with plenty of fans to stay cool and breezy. Service 2/5- Omg service was the worst. Sat down no water for over 5 minutes, no utensil and napkin until they some plastic utensil in a package for us to use. Not sure if it because we were sitting outside. It like they were too busy talking to each other than wanting to serve. They were nice but not attentive at all. Food 4/5- Food was delicious!! Ultimate Pineapple colada drink 3/5 ($9.49)- It was way too sweet almost to much syrup that you didn't get much natural flavor from the pineapple Wings 3/5 ($14.49) The wing were not bad but kind of taste like your average wing from domino's pizza. The spicy sauce that makes it taste better Beef Empanada 3/5 ($12.49)- Great filling flavor of the beef but the filling was so minimal, needed more filling to balance the wrapper dough Steak Churrasco 5/5 ($25.99)- Great flank steak, good portion and the flavor was so nice and savory Red Snapper 5/5 ($23.99) - Amazing and normally I don't like fish beside salmon. The snapper was cook perfect and fresh that come with great flavor rice. I would come back but not anytime soon hoping the service will be better in the future or maybe i will just order carry out

This is the first time we have been here. It is decorated nice with island music playing. The staff is friendly and took our order quickly. My daughter ordered the jerk chicken pasta, I ordered the grilled cheeseburger with fries. My son ordered coconut shrimp tacos. The food was tasty but our waitress was very nice and made our meal a really great time.

Bahama Breeze - Woodbridge While on a business trip and looking to try something different, I decided to check out Bahama Breeze. The atmosphere immediately stood out--festive and vibrant with a Caribbean vibe, both in appearance and music. The service was excellent! The server was very friendly and provided great suggestions on appetizers, drinks, and the main course. Here's what I ordered: Appetizer: Beef Empanadas - Four housemade pastries filled with seasoned beef and potatoes, paired with seasoned sour cream and pineapple chutney for dipping. The empanadas were crispy and flavorful, a great start to the meal. Drink: Bahamarita - A frozen margarita with tequila, kiwi-melon, strawberry, and mango flavors, served with a spiked cactus juice shot on the side. Refreshing and unique! Meal: Skirt Steak Churrasco - 10-oz. skirt steak with chimichurri, served with yellow rice, black beans, and sweet plantains. The flavors were great, and the meal was well-presented, but the skirt steak was a bit tough--still edible, but not as tender as I hoped. Overall, the food came out quickly, everything was hot, and the flavors were spot on. While the skirt steak wasn't perfect, I'd definitely come back and try something else next time. If you're in the mood for a Caribbean escape with good food and drinks, Bahama Breeze is worth a visit!

I came here with my family to have a quick lunch. Had a few gift cards to use but I had an okay experience. We were promptly seated after walking into the restaurant, there's a lot of tables that were empty and it was moderately quiet. At the tables, they had the little kiosk machine where you could call your waiter, play games or just pay for your check there instead of waiting on someone to hand you the bill. Very convenient. For our appetizer, we got the Crab and Three Cheese Dip. It came out pretty quick from our server with a moderate amount of chips but the cheese dip, you had a lot of. We ate that while we waited on our food and surprisingly there was a lot more crab. It wasn't bad at all. I got the Tequila Sunburn Glazed Salmon. It's a dish with Pineapple-Mango Salsa served with Cinnamon Mashed Sweet Potatoes and Green Beans. Honestly when the dish came out it looked a bit underwhelming. Maybe the portion sizes just look a bit small to me but then again it was just lunch. The salmon was a bit dry but the pineapple-manga salsa sorta helped. I had to grab my drink while eating my salmon. Cinnamon Mashed Sweet Potatoes.. they are okay. I didn't taste cinnamon at all but the sweet potatoes I did for sure. I added some salt and pepper and it made it a bit better. Green Beans well.. they are green beans. We'll leave it at that. Our server was great, I don't have much complaints other than maybe I should have picked something else. The appetizer was good but the entrée made me wanting to pick up something else on the way home. Will I stop by again? Perhaps another time; but I know Woodbridge has better food options.

This was my first time visiting! I must say the experience was amazing. Parking and seating was easy. We chose to dine outside. We had one of the most amazing and positive waiters. I forgot his name but he had a numeral tattoo on his had and is from India. He gave us great recommendations. The ambience was great while we waited for our food. There was lots of Caribbean and Latin music playing. Now on to the food. We ordered appetizers but it was happy hour. I ordered the conch fritters and chicken tostones. That was more than enough food for the price. Appetizers are half off during happy hour. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend.

Bahama Breeze never disappoints. Food and service is always consistent, no complaints.

The last thing I want to see in a restaurant I'm paying a lot to eat and drink is the staff break room in the dining room! Does the management understand that the dining room is for PAYING customers and not the place for staff to enjoy breaks and frolic. Then again, it's Potomac Mills. Amiright?

Dined here with my beau for a quick bite. Place was clean and food came out in a timely fashion considering we got there at 10pm and it closes at 11pm. Food was ok and I would visit again. I enjoyed my beverage but couldn't taste any alcohol. We enjoyed the crab dip and coconut shrimp. My steak wasn't as tasty as everything else was. I ordered medium but got medium well and it lacked seasoning. The service was ok - waiter was polite. Will come back with the kids.

All the food was a yes. I got the sauce on the side because I got Alot of food and wanted to put my shrimp in the air fryer later. It was a good vibe. I went for happy hour and will be back.

Not bad, but not great either…read more The restaurant's ambience is truly modern and inviting. As someone who resides in Dumfries, this is a very welcome addition to upscale dining, and I was greatly surprised by the decor. I've visited many casinos locally and around the country, including Vegas, Atlantic City, Biloxi, Mississippi, and New Orleans, and I must say this restaurant's decor is on par with many of the other fine-dining restaurants. When I arrived at the restaurant, it was not busy at all. In fact, there were only a few people at the bar and another couple who came in at the same time as us in the dining area. While someone would look at this and be very skeptical, I took it as number one. I was coming on a Sunday night around 5:30. Number two, it may be early for dinner, and number three. I could assure you that my food would come out hot. My server was excellent. The service was terrific, which I had heard was the most mixed part of the experience previously, due to staff turnover and inconsistent service levels for a fine-dining establishment. Akeara was fantastic, I mean, truly remarkable, and coupled with the excellent management and leadership of Veronica Keller, they made the dynamic duo who saved my dining experience. Akeara was very well-versed in the menu and sensitive to dietary restrictions when asked about many of the ways ingredients were prepared. She was invaluable and well-versed in preparation methods, as well as in drink pairings and menu options, to ensure we had a great culinary experience. The food I really enjoyed the calamari. It was fried perfectly. The two dipping sauces were fantastic. The rose salad is absolutely a star on the appetizer menu. I was a little skeptical about the crabcake because the way she described it sounded more like a fried crabcake than a pan-seared one. I think had she mentioned pan-seared, I would have likely gone with a crab cake, but I am certainly not disappointed in the calamari, and again, the salad was phenomenal. The steaks were a different story. I think they marinate the steaks, although I got different answers from the server and the manager when I asked; however, the steaks were a great cut. I saw someone get the bone in Tomahawk, which is presented nicely, hanging from a hook, with the Chef coming out to torch butter over the steak and vegetables beneath. I got the New York strip. It was a very, very lovely piece of meat. The New York strip was severely underseasoned. In fact, I had to ask for steak sauce, which is a cardinal sin of any steak restaurant. I think had they used a little more salt, pepper, and garlic to finish the steak It would've been perfect. The cook was absolutely perfect, medium rare. The seasoning was just off. I also got the risotto and short ribs. The short rib was well seasoned, though so much gravy from the short rib almost covered the entire plate of mushroom risotto. Tasty but just a little disproportionate in presentation. The bread basket was terrific, and the honey butter was nice, though the bread had a slight cheese flavor. It was still a really good combo. The baked potato is by far one of the best values on the menu as a side item. It was large. It was hot and fully loaded. The creamed spinach was a little more cream-cheese-forward, and it seemed like the spinach needed a little something else and seasoning, so it wasn't as bland. The desserts were another story: the toffee cake I thought would look like something I would get at Hell's Kitchen looked more like a very crumbly cornbread with ice cream on top. The vanilla ice cream tasted great, but the cake was just OK. The crème brûlée was on another level. It was fantastic, creamy, full of vanilla, and had a great crunch from the Brulé sugar on top. What really made this meal so good was the service. I talked with my server about my dissatisfaction with the two lobster tails: I did not appreciate being told they were pulled from the lobster shell, and they were served cold and rubbery. The server immediately jumped into action, spoke with the manager, and had the lobster removed from the bill. Thank you so much. But what really impressed me was the time that both the manager and my server spent at the table. Veronica was truly a pleasure to meet. As a military officer who has commanded hundreds and been responsible for thousands, she really hit it out of the park with her ability to problem-solve and immediately address issues as they arose. She was very engaging and really a pleasure to be with. This dynamic duo, who've only worked at this location for less than 5 months combined, really made me say I will come back to the restaurant, assuming they may have had an off night with seasoning and timing in the kitchen. If there's anything to take away, the food is OK (3 stars), the service from this dynamic duo was fantastic, and that's why they got the four stars.

Shaudine was attentive, knowledgeable about the entire menu, and helpful in recommending dishes. Overall, we had such delightful meal experiences. We started with their Oysters Rockefeller, which included 6 good-sized oysters topped with creamy spinach and toasted breadcrumbs. Delicious! For my meal, I ordered the Tomahawk Prime Steak ($130). Although the restaurant is à la carte, the tomahawk comes with a medley of broccoli, fingerling potatoes, and multi-colored carrots. The meat was tender and flavorful, and the table side searing presentation by their Chef was awe-inspiring. Likewise, the steak and vegetables were complemented by tasty truffle butter. My friend ordered the lamb chops, accompanied by blackberry compote. We also shared the Brussel sprouts, which were also quite delicious and savory; cooked with onions and bacon. For dessert, we shared a lava cake with vanilla ice cream... and Chocolate martinis as an accompaniment. The restaurant ambiance was curated and sheik. Large, round booths with nice fabrics, well-appointed details and lighting, and a beautiful bar area with a backlit-lucite bar. A nice steakhouse feel. I would like to leave two recommendations: 1. The Bartender should ONLY tend bar... as the role indicates. Not also act as a server for tables beyond the bar. When those of us dining in the main restaurant order drinks, we have to wait for the bartender to finish serving tables before they can return to the bar to make drinks. That is not a good system. 2. There should be jazz or some other music playing in the background to drown out the incessant noise coming from the casino's slot machines (which are only steps away). Music would help to elevate the aesthetic of the steakhouse, while minimizing the casino noise. The manager did visit each table during our time, which was quite a nice touch. She also gave good recommendations on how to reheat and enjoy leftovers. Top notch!

Update the next day went and got more food on Sunday. Location/ Ambiance 5/5 - Food truck in random parking lot with 1 building that supposed to get turn into the restaurant in couple of months. The truck and seem nice and clean from me looking in. Food 5/5 - Amazing, I couldn't sleep all night because I want more and normally it take me couples of weeks to write review. Deluxe platter 5/5 - $34 One lobster tail, Couple Shrimps and Catfish or Whiting of choice plus 2 side. - Omg heaven in my mouth, the seafood was nice and crispy and thinly coated in crispy batter full of flavors. It honest can feed 2 person the amount you get. It was so good I had to pull over at an empty parking lot. The lobster and Shrimp was cook perfectly and not over cook. The catfish was lovely as well and i love that they use real catfish and not swai fish . Side: Mac cheese 5/5 - perfectly Chessy and cream with right balance of cheese and perfectly al dente macaroni Side: Candie yam 5/5- Sweeten my soul and comforting not overly sweet and went you put in your mouth the aromatic is amazingly Side: Collard Green with turkey 5/5- Fill with savory flavor and Side: Seafood pasta salad 5/5 - Omg it was delicious and actually have crab meat in it not imitation with shrimp. Side: Rasta Pasta 5/5 - This is so good it should be turn into an entree as well. Creamy spice alfredo sauce with penne pasta. It so good even better then cheesecake factory Cajun pasta Side: Cabbage 4.5/5- Amazing buttery flavor cabbage. I am not sure if they over cook it or maybe I reheat for too long because it was a tad bit too soft for me. I like it too not overly over cook, but flavor was on point comforting Turky Chilli $5 - I am not a Chilli girl because I don't like bean but for some reason, the way they make it so good, and they don't put too much bean bit fill with flavor will out being oily Jerk Chicken with 2 side $20- 5/5 Omg i love that they don't use the cheap part of the chicken like drumstick. The wing didn't have grill flavor aroma like you normally get with Jerk chicken but oh the flavor was packing with a hint of spiciness, but the meat was soft and falling of the bone it was amazing with yellow rice. It safe enough for peoples who don't eat spicy. Chicken Curry with 2 side over jasmine rice $20 5/5- Ok this one threw me off the loop went I first open the box. I thought it was curry chicken with potatoes and carrot, but it had chickpea instead. I was nervous it wasn't going to be good but I was truly wrong. It was perfect combo, full with turmeric flavor and chicken boneless meat. It was savory an addicting Banana Pudding $6- I cry eating this in bed it was heavenly perfect bring back memories of ex grandma banana pudding. It was so good and not overly too sweet like magnolia or wegman banana pudding. I hope one day I can ask them to just make me a tray to devour on a weekend. The banana was fresh and a wafer had crunch Lastly, I got lemon cake, it was divine and not overly sweet with great lemony flavor. Overall I hated that I love this place because I was going to start my new year diet. I can't find nothing negative to say about the foods. You can taste the love they put in the cooking to fill the soul. I will probably be coming back every week
