The staff was very friendly and knowledgable. The guy who helped me spent a lot of time answering questions and helping me be sure I got the best fit- and I ended up with a less expensive boot than I expected (which never happens). They had really good sales at that time, and I ended up coming back the next day to get a new pack. On the following day, I found an equally friendly and knowledgable staff. A friendly staff even after the holidays is the sign of a good shop, I think. Anyway, If you are looking for hiking, camping, or kayaking gear- start here.

I tried them on, and an employee brought the pair tome. When it was time to check out, an older gentleman was helping customers. As soon as it was my turn, a couple of people walked in that he seemed to know, and he completely shifted his attention to them, ignoring me. I waited patiently for a bit but eventually left without purchasing anything. I understand the store was busy and that family or friends may stop by, but customers who are ready to buy shouldn't be ignored. That part of the experience was disappointing and felt disrespectful.

This young man was SO friendly and respectful, addressing my husband as "Sir". Engaged in conversation with our kids. It was refreshing having such delightful staff! The selection of items was remarkable. So many cute items and not everything had Aggies logos plastered all over them. Some were just a super cute top or dress in maroon. Prices are high. My husband and our kid picked out a shirt for $33 (yikes) and we got a car decal for $8. Cute bonus: right inside the door they had coffee, fresh fruit and a jar of Starburst candies. I noticed the middle of the store had a wine tasting and little snack tray. All in all, 5-stars, despite the high prices! Highly recommend.
