You want the table a little warmer/ cooler? Got it. Want to lighten the pressure in certain areas? Sure, no problem! Curious about how 'x' pain connects to 'y' limb? You'll get an accurate, thoughtful response. Lights lower, music softer? She's on it. No stress added that I arrived a couple minutes late. She apparently had time, so she tacked those couple minutes on to the end and I got as many minutes as I actually paid for - that's always super appreciated! It would be nice if the room was a little more soundproofed or located further back in the building away from the road; I could hear lunch hour traffic rushing by on the street about 20 yd away. But other than that, this was a great massage, and I've had plenty over the decades. A lot of therapists these days slop through the motions, but Karen really has a pinpoint, accurate understanding of the human body and I give her full props for 90 minutes of targeted, firm pressure body work. Me having slightly arthritic hands, I greatly appreciate her stamina! I left the appointment, amazed with an amount of flexibility in my neck and shoulders I haven't felt in probably 10 years. My 82 yo mom loves it here, too. There's a plethora of skilled service providers and lots of face, body, general wellness treatments to choose from.

Favoritism For Certain Clients, Over Other Customers Who Arrived Before Them!…read more I arrived in the parking lot before the doors were open. I walked up to the front door, and was the first person there. I was then joined by a few others. Once we walked in and I started the check-in process, one of the other patrons said "hey, that guy was here before you". I looked back, knowing that I had been the first one to arrive, and chose to ignore the man. He persisted, and I turned around, and said that I was the first one here. The man said that the other guy was in the parking lot first. I responded with "I have never heard of that in my life", and I finished the check-in process, and turned to go sit down. The man who had confronted me had his child with him, so I said, "excuse me, buddy", and the man quickly and abruptly yanked the child out of my way, stating "watch out, son, he might step on you!" I looked at the man for a second before turning to go sit and wait. The issue with the facility here, is that this conversation was overheard by one of the stylists, who came over to the man, and said, "you were in the parking lot first? Well, come on back then!" This is completely nonsense! Never in my life have I heard of a parking lot being used as a placeholder for a non-appointment-holding business. I really hope that someone will take this up with that stylist, because this behavior is unacceptable, and downright disgusting.

She had carpal tunnel surgery and was out of commission for a while (most likely what happened during the 1-star review from someone else, especially if it was a Groupon deal; Groupon doesn't always get it right when provider has an illness or emergency).
