I finally got around to writing this much-deserved review after my visit to a truly outstanding holistic dental office. I was seen by several members of the team, including Dr. Philip Grecco, Juan, Janice, Angie and Dr. Dean Raio- thorough and professional care from start to finish. This practice goes above and beyond. The environment is warm, welcoming, and patient-centered. From the moment I walked in, I felt at ease and well cared for. I signed up for the membership plan, and it's absolutely worth it, especially for top-notch imaging, holistic cleanings and health-conscious dental care using state-of-the-art technology. I honestly don't understand how it could ever get a negative review; my experience couldn't have been more positive. It's one of the most comprehensive dental visits I've ever had. Highly recommend this office and team! One request: please open a location in Beverly Hills or Orange County, California- and send the above team mentioned at least 1-2x a year....We need access to this level of care on the West Coast too. read more

Like every other bad review.. Please please listen to them. Dont be fooled, they are nice but they do not care about you. They want your money and thats it. This dental office is a scam. They will take thousands and leave you in pain and make false promises and then wont refund you. Im thinking of pursuing legal action if they dont fix what theyve done and im more than sure im not the only one. I Im also a mom of two toddlers and pregnant. Again, they dont care. My implant failed a week after it was put it. I complained of pain and infection and nobody at the office would respond. They got my money tho. This office charges THOUSANDS of dollars and treat customers as expendable commodities. I truly felt like a victim here. From severe price shock, mistakes galore, malpractice and empty promises to make it right, Dr. Gerry Curatola is a shiny accomplished crook ultimately, prioritizing his wallet over his patients. At one point I screamed in the dentist chair to alert the Dr. who was drilling my tooth before he numbed it. He would sing dean martin sliding from room to room working on multiple patients simultaneously, clearly loosing track of important details. The poorly run office with scheduling, wait times and no mental prep for cost and tx plan would be worth it if I was in good hands. I got metal removed and 4 new crowns at $3200 each. A week later, one abscessed and he sent me for a root canal and he begrudgingly replaced the crown. 2 years later, a second abscessed and I had to pay for a second root canal and new crown from a new Dr. And now, another 1.5yrs later, I'm told that the other two crowns need replacing. Went for a teeth cleaning with Dr. Curatola. He wrote up a treatment plan which ended up costing me a fortune. Will not get into all the hidden costs, but after I began his plan, I have had nothing but problems and chronic pain that I didn't have prior to his "plan". Also, never had an issue with cavities until I began using his toothpaste which has no fluoride. He is a total scam artist and should be investigated for what he did to me. Rejuvenation Dentistry is the best dental practice that I have been to in my life. Dr. Gerry Curatola is so patient and extremely knowledgable. He and his team truly saved my life. I live in Orange County, CA and I traveled to NYC because he and his team are that good. I was first introduced to this practice when my daughter went to Dr. Grecco and was treated with the best care. They were so cognizant of her needs and made sure that she was not only treated with the highest level of care but made as comfortable as possible. Due to our limited time in NY, I thought i would go see a biologic dentist in CA, what a mistake that was! That dentist not only was not a biologic dentist but the level of care was in no comparison to that of what i witnessed at Rejuventation Dentistry. Not only was that dentist not a biologic dentist, but after my extraction, i developed multiple infections, and later it was determined that the bone graft that he put in was the lowest of quality. Due to the infections and complications that came out that procedure, I developed pain all over my body. I knew that I needed to come to have Dr. Curatola to take a look. I am so glad that I did! He did some testing and discovered that there were many issues. He and his time, along with the anesthesiologist that works with their practice, did a 6hr procedure to correct the all the complications from my previous procedure. Did it cost a significant amount? Yes-- Did i get my life back? ABSOLUTELY!!! They treated me with the best care, making sure during the procedure that i was comfortable- they called me every day after my procedure to make sure i was feeling well, they set up follow ups to make sure i was healing properly- they even set up for a nurse to come to my hotel to give me an IV, so that I don't loose my strength. I truly felt this was the highest level of care i could have possibly received. Not only did the pain in my body cease by Day 2 post op, but I felt like I was getting my energy back. I had been dealing with these infections for months, and I didn't even know it. Dr. Curatola and his team saved my life and I am beyond grateful for them! In terms of the rest of the staff, including Dona at the front desk, i cannot say anything other than they are spectacular. They are kind and understanding, and work with you to provide all the necessary information. They do their best to work with your schedule and they are simply amazing!! I don't think there are any more words I can write, but Rejuvenation Holistic Dentistry is absolutely amazing and they are worth every penny! Dr Curatola is the author of "Mouth Body Connection", and has the top wellness doctors in America flying in from Across America and around the world. Because he is the worlds leading biological dentist and I've been BURNED by not one, not two but THREE DENTISTS (terrible experiences), I decided to fly from Atlanta to NYC. These other dentists were apparently "the best" and had all these awards, yet they were drilling into my gums, through healthy portions of my teeth and then billing me to fix their mistakes. One even drilled through my lip (no joke). Hence why I flew from NYC from Atlanta... and it was the best decision I could have made. Dr Gerry and the other dentists are extremely skilled and pleasant. They have music in every room that calms your nerves and my teeth have never looked better. I am so grateful for their work. Dr. Grecco (one of the other dentists that works at Dr. Curatola's practice) caused major trauma to my tooth with rough drilling that hit a nerve. I have since been suffering with a misaligned bite and ongoing problems with this tooth and now it needs to be extracted. Please do not go to this practice. I know the promise of a biological/holistic dentist sounds great. Instead you will find that they are not careful or considerate of patient needs or tooth preservation, but are money driven and seeking ways to push further procedures. Dr. Curatola is such an arrogant man. I love the idea of holistic dentistry, but his practice is atrocious and his manners border on illegal. Last summer June 2020 - coming out of peak Covid time in NY, I went to his Hamptons office about tooth extraction. I had seen him in the city before for a consult and felt decent enough with him. But when seeing him in The Hamptons though it was a completely different story. First, he was 3 hours late to my appointment. I was unmasked obviously bc I was at the dentist and while I was lying vulnerable in his chair, he kept taking HIS mask off and telling me masks were BS. While there is a debate about masks' effectiveness, he had no right to take his off while looking in my mouth just to what-- prove a point? As a power play? I'm not quite certain why as dentists usually wear masks anyway, even in non-Covid times. He told me if I got Covid it would just be a light cold for me and wouldn't be serious. How on earth would he know? In fact, I had already had Covid and was sick for 3 weeks but this was the beginning and we didn't know if you could get it again. But that's not even the worst of it. The worst came when he used his dirty gloves in my mouth. He had been injured with some leg issue and had a walker or leg scooter thing. He had his gloved hands all over it and instead of changing his gloves or washing his hands he put his visibly dirty gloves into my mouth before I had a chance to realize what was happening. A couple of days later I ended up getting a very serious bowel infection that I had had once before many, many years ago. It has been over a year and have still not been able to eradicate this infection from my system yet despite being on rounds and rounds of antibiotics. This is a gut infection you pick up from hospitals and health care facilities or from taking too many antibiotics (which I had not taken in years at that point). Dr. Curatola's office was the only place I'd been since I was quarantining for 3 months prior. This is the only place I had been and I had not had this problem for years. I believe that this man transferred an incredibly dangerous bacteria to me via his dirty gloves that had been on his walker/leg scooter device. Now I have been sick with this awful disease for 14 months and I know I'm far from the only one who has suffered long-term consequences because of his negligence and arrogance. I have spoken with another person who was so deeply harmed by his oral surgery that she was disabled. Straight from her mouth. Run, far away from this awful man. read more

Updated review, I have to dock it down to one star. After they royally screwed up the scheduling and gave me several misquotes about the pricing, I had gotten a bad impression. However, I really just wanted to get this cleaning and x ray over with, so I decided to do it because in my mind, I just had this idea that x rays were too simple a task, and any place should be able to do it without screwing up. I now understand why they kept ignoring my requests to get a copy of the x rays showing my "cavity". It turns out they lied to me about having a cavity. Since I'm no dental expert, I didn't realize how bad they screwed up clinically speaking with my visit. But when I took the x rays to my dentist back in my home city, they were appalled. They struggled to even read my x rays because the images were so poorly taken. I paid for a full mouth series, and the x rays provided to me did not even show my full mouth. They were lopsided and important parts of what needed to be seen were outside the borders of the images. They tried to piece all of my x ray images together like a puzzle, and there was so much missing from poor imagery. Things were cut off the ends of images, and those pieces couldn't be found by looking at the other images in the compilation. Total mess. Secondly, the dentist flat out lied to me about having a cavity. He was looking for an excuse to use cavity filling to fill a gap between two teeth that I actually should have been referred to an orthodontist for. He really wanted to fill that gap withcavity filling, and he even told me he was hoping hebwould find a cavity there as it would justify the procedure. However, when I went to my dentist back home, they told me I had no cavities. I was like, "are you sure? Because the dentist who saw me when these x rays were taken said I had a cavity on this tooth". They were appalled, and told me again that they checked carefully and I have no cavities at all. So I believe this is why they wouldn't send me the images of my x rays. In the email, I said something asking about the cavity and asking for more information about the procedure that Dr. Perez recommended for my cavity. I also asked specifically for the x ray that showed the cavity. Since there was no cavity, perhaps they just thought it best to not respond. Or maybe the office was just careless and not on top of their stuff. Either could have been the case... sucks either way. I am so lucky I have a dentist in my home city that has proven himself trustworthy and I am so lucky I thought to get a second opinion before going through with Dr. Perez's ridiculous and unnecessary "filling" idea. This practice is way worse than I as a mere patient could have realized on my own. You'd have to really know something about dentistry to understand the full extent of how terrible this practice is. read more

They treated my periodontal disease so that I saw a subsiding almost immediately, and found a hidden problem that I had to take care of el pronto or I'd lose a tooth. Extremely Frustrated I was a patient at Dr Gerald Curatola's office for the last few years. When I first went to the office I loved the style and appearance. I found the staff to be attentive and courteous. I always waited an hour or two to be seen, but figured I was getting great care so I continued to return. Over the years the staff has changed countless times. Each time I returned it seemed Dr Curatola would find a "new" crown that needed to be treated. Including one that was done just two years before by him. I began to question certain treatments and was always given a very well thought out explanation. While away on a work trip another crown had come loose. This one was also done by Dr Curatola and after the cap was cemented I needed a root canal(one of many). I went to my sisters dentist in Los Angeles and was told it had an "open margin" along with a few other things he found. When I returned home I went back to the office only to find yet another complete change in staff. I didn't recognize one person? I just had my first visit to Rejuvenation last week and I was so impressed! It was by far the best experience I've had going to the dentist. I was referred to Dr. Curatola by my naturopathic doctor, who had recently heard him speak at a conference, in hopes he could help my daughter virtually, because we live in California. The appointment was for her to have a scan done in California and have them send it to Dr. Curatola to make sure she didn't have any pockets of infection in her mouth. Upon making the initial appointment, I requested a referral for the scan (which I never received). The scan company sent a referral request to Dr. Curatola's office, in which they never responded to, nor returned any calls to them. The day of the scan I had to rush to get through to Dr. Curatola's office (which isn't easy) for them to send the request for a scan (in California they won't do the scan unless a doctor signs for it). The scan was competed and sent along with all my hard copies of medical CD's of previous scans to the office. We had our virtual appointment with Dr. Curatola, who was very kind, but referred us to a oral surgeon. He also suggested a sleep study from his coworker Dr. Raio. I already expressed my thoughts of no sleep apnea from my daughter, but agreed to rule out everything. When your daughter has been sick for 2 years and no real diagnosis, you become desperate. The day of my scheduled virtual conference with Dr. Raio, I waited on hold for 45min and when no one came for the zoom I called the office to only find out he was running hours late and to log back on in about an hour. 45 min on hold is a long time when you've got 3 young kids. $350 later for the sleep study, my daughter showed no issues. Then, as requested after the sleep study, I (like a good patient) returned the sleep device back to the office. After my cash of $600 to Dr. Curatola and $350 for a sleep study, I pretty much walked away with an expensive referral for another doctor. Months later, I contacted Dr. Curatola's office for the return of my medical cd's I sent, there were several attempts to get in touch with someone before getting a response of "I can't locate them, but I'll get back to you after looking." After SEVERAL other times reaching out to them, turns out they lost the CD's. Long story short, in my opinion, it was a lot of money spent for nothing in return. The doctors and staff were very nice and courteous, but they've got some organizational skills to work on, as well as patient costs to consider. Like I mentioned previously, my daughter has been sick for 2+ years and we've seen all different doctors and this was by far the most expensive consult we've paid for! read more

Talk about an enjoyable dental experience. The staff is friendly and go above and beyond to make your appointment comfortable from the moment you step inside. As a medical professional myself i know how crucial it is to have support staff that are happy to come to work and assist the doctors and at Rejuvenation they seem like a close knit family. My cleaning with Courtney was top knotch, the most thorough ive had which included strawberry lip balm to keep my lips from drying out. Then Dr. Jason Alster came in for my checkup. Dr. Gerald Curatola is by far the WORST dentist !!!! He is completely motivated by greed!!!! His dentistry skills are beyond bad!!! He and his associates put in implants that were the incorrect size - they were too big for my mouth! They also installed one of implants incorrectly up against another tooth which I will likely eventually need to extract this tooth or have it root canaled. They also incorrectly extracted a tooth damaging the neighboring teeth. Also when numbing me for the injection to extract a tooth they hit a nerve which is still in discomfort 24/7. The bone grafting material they put in was from a dead person and became badly infected. They have taken no ownership for the damage they have caused me . Beware!!!!!!!! Also If you place a negative review on his website it disappears real quick !!! I have found this guy has absolutely NO conscience and I've seen a lot of his staff leave / two actually just walked out and NEVER came back as he's a very difficult condescending guy to deal with when things don't go his way!!!! It was truly a privilege to be treated by Dr. Curatola! His beautiful office and kind competent staff are simply the icing on top! I came in pain with a broken tooth that originally had a mercury filling. Dr. Curatola saved my tooth with a crown that was completed within an hour and a half and used his proprietary protocol for safe mercury removal. I had been told I needed a root canal or possibly an extraction and am so glad that I went to see Dr. C for a second opinion. I loved his holistic approach and his use of advanced technology. It doesn't get any better than Dr Curatola. I just started going to him because I need silver fillings removed correctly. He replaced 3 silver fillings in one molar--& I didn't need a crown! I was so impressed with his state of the art equipment, his protocol for safely removing the fillings (supplements, oxygen, dam-like coverage so I didn't swallow silver) and the easy, very comfortable experience! I love his holistic approach to caring for not just dentistry but the whole body and how a healthy mouth is key to a healthy body. By combining these, they were able to completely answer all questions to my ultimate satisfaction. Digital x-rays greatly reduce the amount of radiation received and were quickly e-mailed upon request. The Cerec system, along with Dr.Curatola's evident knowledge and skill created perfect inlays in no time flat. His love of sculpture and talent combined with years of experience and his incredible ceramist (who also generously donated his personal time and talent to create the final product) gave me the most amazing veneers I have ever had. (Got the first set 27 years ago.) You would never know I was born with one tooth missing and another very askew near the front! I now have the perfect smile I've always dreamed of. After a full teeth and gums exam, X-rays and all, I was treated to an unbelievable cleaning. Dina, my dental hygienist, was absolutely first-rate; she had my teeth looking as good I can remember. No small feat as she had to deal with a year and a half worth of tartare buildup! I am not sure why all the good reviews were filtered out and the bad one left in, but I am here to say that i have had great treatment from Dr. Curatola. Yes, you do have to wait sometimes and those times for a while (usually due to him fitting in an emergency of which I have been one), but I have learned to plan that into my appts and also to let them know if my time is tight. And yes, he is not the least expensive dentist in town, but: Dr. Curatola has done quite alot of work on my used to be crummy teeth over the years, and all has been pretty terrific, and when not, made terrific. The office has been quick to return emergency phone calls. So, read the filtered reviews and make your own assessment. The NYC office is beautiful and his latest staff is great. read more

Trust me you do not want to go to Dr Gerald Curatola. The review I just read doesn't seem anything like him or his office. Everytime I had an appointment with him he was at least 45 minutes late. I had very expensive and extensive work done. I later after finally getting fed up with him had 9 root canals, I was told due to how much my teeth were filed for caps. He is unethical, and unprofessional. I am in debt now and with a mouth worse off than when he started. He also has a practice in EH, BEWARE I should have sued him , however the attorney's thought it would cost more than I would ever recover. read more

Very unorganized. Unprofessional assistants, doctor seems to be late all the time. (Patients in the waiting room wouldn't stop complaining about this) walked out without a detailed treatment plan but was pressured into signing up for care credit so the doctor can perform procedures. I have been Dr. Curatola's patient for nearly 12 years, and have used him for everything, from cleanings, root canal, implant, TMJ, etc. He is approachable yet professional. The quality of his work is top notch; I've used him to correct mistakes of less expensive dentists and for the occassional dental emergency. His services are relatively expensive, but it's worth shelling out a little extra to avoid future problems. It is also impossible to have a negative experience in his dental "spa." He creates a zen-like atmposphere for what is, to most people, a hellacious experience. And his philosophy on the "smile" is fresh, helpful and insightful. I had seen Dr. Curatola on a few occasions..on one of these occasions Dr. curatola gave me a root canal, a very painful and very expensive root canal..he has a very heavy hand when drilling and I suffered through the whole procedure, at one point he left the room, i thought just for a minute or two and he'd be back, but it was for about a half an hour I laid there with all sorts of equipment in my mouth and not able to call out, so I sort of grunted for help since I was having trouble swallowing since it was too long a time to lay there for an extended period of time...the root canal he preformed was a $2500 failure. I had to get the tooth extracted, even though Dr. Curatola said he could save the tooth with the horrible root canal he did..the stories go on and on with him...Tragic chain of events one worse than the other. and even today 5 years later im still suffering. It's a pity and a crime that Park ave Curatola is getting away with cruel and shabby dental work. Patient BEWARE. read more

I have lived in the city for 1 year and have used other dentists, to be left with bruising and pain. A friend recommended this practice and I was very hesitant to go, but when I arrived I was treated with kid gloves, I was made to feel relaxed and talked through every step of the procedure. The office is state of the art and smells wonderful as they burn delicious candles. I am now having a complete smile makeover and I have to say that Dr Gerry Curatola has changed my life. I have had no pain during or after the visits, always treated with great kindness and understanding of my 'Dentist fear'. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Curatola! My 6 year old daughter was getting these awful, painful sores on her tongue and no one could figure out why. The staff are very courteous and accommodating of your schedule.
