I ended up going to the relaxation station on July 10th a little late afternoon around 3:00 p.m. I had seen different reviews about how there was a specific masseuse named Paul who gave really good deep tissue massages and I was in desperate need of one. So I ended up booking a one-hour massage and I was so grateful that I did. I'll start off with the Ambiance of the place. Walking in you're greeted with very tranquil spa style music. The waiting room is clean, multiple areas to sit down, and they have even a little fridge where clients can take one beverage for themselves after the massage. When the reception called Paul he picks me up within like 4 minutes to go to the back so that we could start the massage. The one thing I appreciate with any masseuse is when they really do listen to the type of pressure you need and again I had read online that Paul had strong pressure and gave a really good deep tissue massage and he did. He asked me multiple times throughout the session if the pressure was good at one point I told him he could go harder because I needed a not release from my shoulder and once I gave him the okay he went for it and I could feel the not trying to break as he put the pressure on my shoulder. Again I am super grateful that I found this place I will also say that actually went last week on August 20th to visit Paul again because that's how much I liked the session. I told myself that the next one I do would be a 90 minute massage because I definitely want to have more time spent on my back area I just carry most of my tension there so to just get a full like 60 minutes just on the back would be amazing and then 30 minutes for calves and feet is totally fine. Also the price is great for the service being provided and I do recommend if you can leave a cash chip it's just nicer to give that to them after your massage is done. I've always seen this place in the area, so I decided to look it up and read the reviews. I booked a 1-hour deep tissue massage online, which I really needed. I scheduled an earlier appointment because they were offering Happy Hour pricing ($10 off before 1pm). It was also my first visit, and according to the website, first-time customers receive 20% off, which influenced my decision to book. The reception and waiting area were decent. Check-in was straightforward, and my massage therapist came out to get me. The massage room itself was dark with relaxing vibes. However, I did feel uncomfortable at times while face down on the spa bed--the liner made it hard for me to fully relax and breathe. That said, Coco truly did her thing. She asked how intense I wanted the massage, and I told her I had a lot of knots and asked if she could focus on those. She did exactly that and checked in with me during the session, especially when she noticed I was struggling to stay relaxed. Her professionalism and attentiveness really stood out. Unfortunately, the checkout experience was disappointing. I mentioned to the front desk staff member that it was my first visit and that I'd like to redeem the 20% first-time customer discount advertised on the website. She responded unpleasantly, asking, "Are you sure this is your first time?" After I confirmed it was, she proceeded to question how I knew about Coco, and I felt like I had to explain and convince her that this truly was my first visit. I found that uncomfortable especially since this information should already be visible in their system, and the promotion is clearly advertised online. After paying and getting into my car, I realized the 20% discount was not fully honored. I chose not to go back in since the difference wasn't significant, but it's really about the principle. Honoring advertised promotions matters, and that part of the experience left a bad impression. Would I come back? Yes, mainly because of Coco. On Sunday, August ninth, we had a 4PM appointment for a couple's massage. I called ahead and specifically requested TWO FEMALE masseuses, and CONFIRMED THIS AGAIN in person at check-in, we were told yes, two females. We were LED INTO the couple's room together and began the massage with two female therapists. Partway through, we turned over and discovered a MALE masseuse was now working on MY GIRLFRIEND. This switch was never disclosed or agreed to. My girlfriend DID NOT consent to being touched by a male therapist and felt violated. If a client explicitly requests and confirms a therapist's gender for a service this personal, that request needs to be honored, not silently changed mid-session. We will not be returning, and I want anyone considering a couple's massage here to know this can happen. read more

She was thorough, professional, and somehow managed to untie knots that have probably been there since my last bad life decision. If you need a massage therapist who genuinely cares about your experience, I would not recommend this place. Out of all the massage locations I have been to, this one is at the bottom of my list. The staff is friendly enough, but the actual client care is lacking. Something as simple as asking, "What brings you in today?", "Are there any areas you'd like me to focus on?", or even taking a minute to understand what the client needs would make a huge difference. Instead, the only question I was really asked was, "Is the pressure okay?" I have been here twice because I wanted to support their business, but unfortunately the second experience confirmed my concerns from the first. I came in with specific areas of tension that I wanted addressed, yet I was never asked what I needed focused on. When the therapist went over the areas where I clearly had knots and tension, they would spend a very brief amount of time there, graze over the area, and then move on to something else. There was very little sense that the therapist was actually assessing the muscles or trying to understand where my tension was coming from. There was also a serious issue with personal boundaries. The signage in the room specifically says clients should undress only to the level they are comfortable with. Despite that, the therapist unbuckled and removed my bra without asking me first and demanded it needed to be removed. Regardless of whether they intended to continue the massage without it, that is something that should have been communicated and consented to beforehand. It became an experience that felt like if I said, "No, I want this on," the remaining session would be mediocre and cut short. What made the experience especially disappointing is that I came in during an extremely stressful period. I had taken the day off from work specifically because I needed to decompress. I spent the day walking around leisurely and trying to take care of myself, and I thought ending the day with a massage would help release some of the tension I had been carrying. Instead, I became so disappointed during the massage that I actually cried mid-session. What bothered me afterward was that there was seemingly no acknowledgment of how upset I was. I wasn't offered tissues during or after the session, and there wasn't any meaningful check-in about whether I was okay. The session simply concluded with a towel being placed over my eyes. I don't expect a massage therapist to be a therapist or counselor. I do, however, expect basic awareness, communication, and care when a client is visibly upset. Unfortunately, I left feeling like I had paid for an hour of someone simply moving their hands over my body rather than receiving a thoughtful, therapeutic massage. I wanted to give this business another chance because I believe in supporting local businesses, but after two visits, I can't justify returning. Save your money and find a massage therapist who takes the time to understand what you actually need, respects your boundaries, and makes you feel cared for as a client. If I paid for a service just to feel something roll on me, I'd rather roll on the floor. Cats massage better just by walking on you than the services provided here. read more

My mom shared the room with me with her permission, I booked the 80 minutes combo for $65. Her person was Anna. My mom asked her to go harder 3x but she didn't seem to understand. I then asked Anna to go harder but and then my person Susan also told her that my mother needed for her to go deeper. My mother did not feel like she got a massage at all, it was merely just lightly touching her. We paid for our massages, so it was $10 more not $5 so the bill was $133 & we tipped $20 even though we were not satisfied with Anna. We have never had this issue, my mom really did not get the service she wanted. I would appreciate a do over for my mother. I would like Susan again though. When the massage started the lady I had not once asked what areas I needed work on or what type of massage I wanted. I tried telling her Im having bad headaches and my shoulders were super tight. I dont think she understood a word I said. The massage was okay. It felt more of a tap/rub down (mostly with the sheet cover) if anything. She spent a little time on my shoulders and my feet. One thing that I dont like about this location is the tech will walk you out and stand there and wait while you pay for their tip. It makes it awkward. I tipped 18% and no more because I didnt feel the service was the best. She grabbed the money from the receptionist and walked away without saying thank you. At a previous apt that I went to with my daughter, the receptionist straight up asled my daughter "that's all" when she gave her tip. I randomly saw this place on ClassPass and booked through there because they had a good deal on credits for a combo (1 hour deep tissue massage + 30 min facial) it was easy to book and had plenty of appointments available same day I booked it. My massage therapist Anna was amazing. She got all the tense spots I was having. It was a nice full body massage. Even got my hands, legs and feet too. It was a nice touch by adding essential oil and hot rocks. She even asked if the hot rocks were too hot for me. The facial was amazing too. My skin came out glowing and they put steam in your face that smelled nice. I felt very refreshed and detoxified. They give you plenty of time to change and had a robe inside the room too. They give you a free small water bottle after you're done. Only thing concerned me was the front desk, she tried to charge me but it should have been already paid through booking and she doubled checked and saw I did. I selected the 80 minutes combo. 40 min foot massage and 40 min body. We started off with the foot massage. While my feet are soaking, I was given a face, neck and arm massage. The pressure was great. I prefer strong hands and Linda delivered! The foot massage was average but nice. I was asked to go to a private room for the upper body part of the massage. She was able to get some of the knots out of my shoulders. I wish she would linger at the same spot longer. Yeah, I am the type that stay quiet. I think next time I will speak up. I got in and laid down and waited for my therapist. She came in and the massage got started. I could hear some loud talking outside the door (there was no music to cover it) but thought I would tune it out. Then someone was in the room with us having a conversation with the therapist. Weird right? OK, block it out. Just relax. She left, my therapist never stopped so I thought that was the end of it. Well here she comes again, talking to the therapist like we are not in a spa and I am not there. She leaves , has some loud conversation outside the door, then comes back. She then gets my attention and asks me if I wouldn't mind sharing the room with a person. I am 10 minutes into a 90 minute massage and I am stopped to consider if I would share a room with a stranger? Is it a man? A woman? Is the therapist a man or a woman? Too much to think about. Who on earth would share a room where you in your most vulnerable state? Naked and trying to relax while someone is trying to remove your stressors and anxiety. OMG, we are still so sore, it was not in any way a relaxing massage for either of us. The guy that massaged me, stayed way to long on one spot, and keep doing it, it was basically a one hour massage on my back, and then 30 minutes for the rest of my body. I would not do a total body massage again, and now i am afraid to try a facial. Not sure I would go back, might need to find a new spot. My wife and I went here for a couples massage the other day. I made an appointment on the phone prior and let them know that my wife needs a prenatal massage and that I will be getting the standard 'pressure wash' massage. Not sure what was the point of me telling them about the prenatal massage because the day we go in, they guide us to a room to lay on some beds and come in a few moments later to tell us to both lay on our stomachs. They were surprised that my wife is pregnant (?) and the masseuses switched places with each other on the fly. First off, they dont have the special beds for pregnant women with the hole where the baby bump can stick out (sucks but not a deal breaker). What was disappointing is that the woman who massaged my wife did not know how to give a prenatal massage. My wife said that she felt like she was just getting gentle pets and felt no benefit afterwards. This business obviously does not care to provide satisfactory service or else they would be more careful not to make this kind of mistake. We wont be back. read more

Despite a not so great first experience at Relax Station 2 (therefore 4 stars), ever since I discovered Paul, I decided to come back again. I booked a 40 min foot and 40 min body massage with Paul at this location, and it was great! They were able to squeeze me in early, and the front desk lady was nice and professional. Paul went straight to business. This was my first time getting the foot massage, and my feet were soaked in a nice bucket of hot/warm water. While my feet were soaking, he gave me a nice full body massage. As he worked his way down to my feet, I started almost falling asleep because of how comfortable I was. The reflexology portion was a bit painful and ticklish, but that is how reflexology type foot massages usually are, from my experiences. Once he was done, I was pleasantly surprised that he led me to a different room for the full body deep tissue massage, as I thought the one I got earlier was part of it. The next portion is where the typical deep tissue massage comes in, and he was amazing with his pressure and the locations. I've had other massages where people don't put enough pressure, or they go over the bones which can be painful, but he knows just the right places and pressure. I would highly recommend Paul again! They also have great promotions and prices. They don't always ask where you want to focus on, so you might have to voice up if you wanted to ask, but I was fine with everything Paul did. Coco and Selina were great. They worked hard to ensure their clients were comfortable and that pressure was good. Unfortunately this place takes the massage therapist's tips. I left a good tip for both ladies and the receptionist up front just snatched the money from me and the ladies just stayed back. The receptionist does not earn nor should she get any portion of their tips. It's a shame. Next time I will ensure I directly tip them before they leave the room.
