I write this review only to maybe have someone with this establishment understand why I am writing the review at all. I was in about an hour ago for a 60 minute massage (keep in mind I understand this isn't a therapeutic massage in any way, just to relax) with that said, it is very hard to relax when all of your employees are having prolonged conversations at the front desk and in the back. One conversation seemed very intense, almost seemed like they were arguing off and on for the entire hour of my massage. I have been in here dozens of times and this seems to happen more often than not when your employees are not performing massages.When I asked my masseuse to have them keep it down so I can try to relax, no one understood each other due to the communication barrier between us, this is why I write this at all. I'd hope someone with the establishment reads this and can make the change so we can continue to enjoy the fast service here and relax for an hour out of our day. Thank you read more

This place is so awesome! My friend and I were walking to our car after dinner and got excited when we saw the sign on the door saying the full body hour massage is only $35! So much cheaper than any other massage place I have ever been to. Not only was it cheap, it was so nice and relaxing. The workers were very friendly and the place was very clean! We got the combo--30 min full body massage and 30 min foot massage. Overall, the place seemed very clean and the ambiance was relaxing. The price, of course, was amazing. The body work was pretty good--a bit uneven at times (the left side of my body seemed to get more attention than the right)--but certainly therapeutic. It got rid of a nagging shoulder ache I'd had for days. My only real complaint was the person who was massaging me. She seemed so miserable, and was so unfriendly, I couldn't stop thinking about it. I've never had a foot massage and tried it. Super nice. Calves, ankles, feet. A little ticklish (that's me) but only a teeny bit. I will absolutely do this again. I play tennis, hike, walk too much on cement and am generally just a bit hard on my body. Well worth it! Go if you are considering it! read more

Hi there - I hardly ever write reviews but use Yelp all the time and felt I had to write about relaxing station. Family and I were in Santa Barbara for a few days and I told my husband I wanted a few hours to walk around and he has to watch our son. I walked by Relaxing Station and then looked at Yelp. I almost did not go because it was only 3.5 stars but decided it can't be worse than no massage for $30 or so. Anyhow to make a long story short. I get massages about 6x a year in San Francisco. I don't have alot of time and want a good one so I usually spend $90+ an hour on a massage. I got Tim and I have to say - even with keeping my clothes on and having the massage in big room with tons of other people, this was one of the top massages I have ever had. Seriously I wish I could have this massage up in San Francisco all the time and I would not hesitate to pay double or more. I have never been relaxed days after a massage like this and on our trip to disneyland the next two days with 50K people there I was still mellow. I am not sure about the other massage therapists but I would go back here in a heartbeat - amazing massage. read more

This place is the best! I go here once a week, you could say I'm a regular... $35/ hour for a full body massage without all the hassle. You keep all of your clothes on, and they just cover you with a towel. Trust me I've been to other more expensive places. The massages here are the best, if you get the right person. Sometimes the new people are still working on their craft, and I give them a pass. I always ask for the "7" pressure aka the hardest you can take because it's easier to ask for them to ease up rather than go harder. They really work your knots out!! They know exactly where you need extra attention without having to ask. Also, the full body massage, you never leave the table vs. the half and half massage where they take you to a chair for the foot massage part and sort of ruin your zen if you ask me.
