They have attendants available at the site for assistance. It is an easy check-in-- you have the option to pay online or at the spot when you return. It is a pretty big garage. They have indoor, rooftop and valet. Price for the indoor parking is $23/day, which is pretty steep. Only a few minutes when you arrive at the terminal. Nice shuttle. Courteous staff. Overall, great experience thus far.

I was texted at 3:30 that our driver was on the way. I stood outside of the hotel until 4:05 when I called and said "hey we were supposed to be picked up at 4 and our driver isn't here" I don't think they remembered. You could see their car on the map that was not driving. Shortly after my call it started moving. 20 minutes late our driver showed up. Luckily we were able To navigate through the airport quickly to make our flight. I am not sure if these issues are normal? We have scheduled Ubers before at 4 AM and have never had an issue. I love that the grounds are secure and you can allow your children to go into the courtyard area and play the provided games with peace of mind- knowing that they'll be safe. They provide tons of outdoor seating options and grills for tenants, which makes cooking a breeze. In order to enter from the beach/boardwalk, you must have a room key to enter the premises- another awesome perk. This keeps all the riff-raft out of the area. &At night, they also require a room key to enter through the front of the building- which is a newer feature, and much appreciated. You can leave your beach toys & chairs outside your room without worrying about someone coming to steal it. We have locked our bikes up downstairs in the courtyard area & nobody messes with them. This is such a great place to stay & an amazing tradition that our family has. We look forward to our visit every May!

The parking lot isn't huge so the first night we had to park in the metered lot next door, but they reimburse you for any parking fees. I was however able to find parking the next two days. They even gave me a courtesy call saying they noticed my car in the other lot and to remind me to move it by a specific time. I had already set my alarm to move it, but that was nice. The lobby has free coffee/ espresso machine and a dispenser for purified water. They provide beach towels and efficient room service. The rooms themselves are pretty comfortable, but we had someone above us that walked back and forth non stop which was a bit annoying. I mean it's just one room and a bathroom how much walking do you need to do lol. When you go out your door, you just walk a down the little walkway to the beach. Everyone is barefoot it's so close. They have little areas to rinse off your feet and also a brush hanging outside your door handle to brush the excess sand off, cute touch. The beach viewing lounge area (pictured) is nice, people hang out there and drink their coffee or work on their laptops. I had one suggestion, and that would be to build a platform deck for the back seats, because it would give them an unobstructed view. As it is now, the wall blocks some of your view, but putting a platform deck would solve that and be relatively inexpensive to do. We chose to pay for on-site parking, and I highly recommend it. Parking in Pacific Beach can be challenging, so having a guaranteed parking spot made our trip completely stress-free. We originally booked a partial ocean view room, but to our surprise, the front desk upgraded us to a full oceanfront room at no charge! They explained that they randomly select a few guests each day for complimentary perks such as room upgrades, free parking, or late checkout. We felt so lucky and truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture. The rooms have been beautifully renovated and are modern, clean, and very comfortable. The air conditioning worked great, the refrigerator was convenient, and everything felt fresh and well maintained. This new service really fills a need for affordable and convenient transportation from LAX airport to San Diego. It is about 120 miles, too short to fly, too far to drive by oneself, and none of the bus or train options are convenient. From LAX, the pick-up stop is really convenient (shared rides right outside of the terminals). I arrived at international terminal B, after exit, turn left, less than five minutes away at Terminal 3 (column 3G). As a new business, currently pick-up time at LAX only 11:45am and 7:45pm with 3 stops at San Diego. So, a mid-day arrival won't be convenient. I waited for two hours for 11:45am - which was fine (the only eatery before security for arrival is the Starbucks at Terminal 2, lower level; shard rides near it at 2H). The driver was very friendly and professional. Car is equipped with charger, water, and free snack. It took less than two hours to get to San Diego (a direct drive). Would use it again~ read more

This review is exclusively for Michael. On February 10,2026, I had an 8:30 shuttle reservation and almost arrived late. From past experiences with other shuttle companies, I was expecting sullen looks and an unprofessional attitude. To my great surprise, as I approached the pickup time, I could see the driver anxiously checking his watch and looking around for me. I could tell his worry was genuine concern for his passenger, knowing I had a flight to catch. I was really touched by his thoughtful expression--it clearly showed he cared about his customers. When I got out of the Uber, he immediately came over to warmly greet me, with no sign of blame or impatience at all. He even helped me load my two very large and heavy pieces of luggage. Very uncomfortable ride. The bus or van is pack like sardines. No ventilation, very nauseating. Not smooth either, will be a turbulent ride. You will feel every bump and pothole on the road and if you know how these California roads can be... We may not have many choice to travel from SD to LAX. Consider this service as last resort. Also company charge for extra luggage as if we don't have to pay the airline. Driver try to act nice but you can feel irritation and frustration of driver, he serve warm water and tasteless snack. My back hurts from bus ride. I felt so sick arriving at LA, my travel to Asia was ruined. The return to SD was inside van. A little more comfortable but still jam pack like grape jelly in jar. Love it!!! Everything is so perfect. Easy to find a shuttle stop at LAX. Driver is very kind. Customer service is even better. My nieces' flight was unexpectedly delayed 9 hrs so I emailed customer service in order to change boarding time. Within several minutes, David from customer service helped me do so. My nieces were able to leave the airport earlier than expected, so I contacted customer service agaom and David changed the time again so my nieces could not waste 3hrs at the airport. John picked me up (on time as always), and I was happy to see that he installed Plexiglas barriers in his vehicle for our mutual safety. Naturally John had his mask on (as did I). The conversation was a bit muffled through the two masks and barrier, but isn't that the "new normal" (unfortunately)? Bottom line, I felt safe riding in the vehicle. Except I made a mistake with the original pick up time. I put 2:45 AM vs PM. My fault. I had a very hard time getting ahold of anyone. (Email on website didn't work) calling they told me to email this was 15 minutes or less after booking. Finally I called the next morning and got someone. Luckily they were able to change it for me. Skip to day of arrival. Of course our connecting flight was delayed. I messaged city captain to let them know we were going to be later than expected. Our original driver still showed up at the normal time and asked where we were. I told them that I contacted the company and the rescheduled for A little later. He told me to call him when we were out of baggage claim. In the meantime, I got a message that a different driver was on their way to pick us up at the new anticipated time. I let them know our original driver was waiting for us. I didn't hear anything back, so I Joe they cancelled that driver. We finally got picked up and dropped off at our hotel. Phew! The driver was super friendly and understanding when we apologized about the situation. Fast forward to scheduled pick up from hotel to be take to the airport at 4 Am. I was texted at 3:30 that our driver was on the way. I stood outside of the hotel until 4:05 when I called and said "hey we were supposed to be picked up at 4 and our driver isn't here" I don't think they remembered. You could see their car on the map that was not driving. Shortly after my call it started moving. 20 minutes late our driver showed up. Luckily we were able To navigate through the airport quickly to make our flight. I am not sure if these issues are normal? We have scheduled Ubers before at 4 AM and have never had an issue. So It's weird that with a premium car service this would happen. I don't know. Everyone we had Contact with was friendly though.
