I wasn't sure if extensions would do the trick, but May was so informative during my free consultation and recommended sewn-in beaded rows with 100% human hair genius wefts to help create a fuller look. She also recommended k tips for the front of my crown to add fullness to the thinner parts of my hair. Overall she did a fantastic job. She matched my hair so well when ordering the 100% human hair extensions that I didn't need any color adjustments, saving me time and money on future maintenance. I saw friends and family right after the install and they kept complimenting my hair. When I told them I got extensions they all said "I had no idea, they look so natural!" Throughout the whole process May was so respectful and thoughtful. She even sent me a form where I could let her know prior to the appointment how I would like the environment during the install. Questions like music taste, if I wanted to talk or relax in silence, and drink preferences. She made me feel very comfortable throughout the entire process. I attached before and after pictures from the day of the instal (wearing off white sweater), but I also wanted to show the difference the extensions made from my first wedding hair trail (wearing white short sleeve) compared to my second (wearing red sweatshirt). I visited this salon in July 2021, to get an all over maroon/red color. For reference, I had dark brown/reddish hair. I had sent the stylist photos of my hair (color/length) & the desired result prior to the service. When I got to the appointment I STRESSED how important the quality/integrity of my hair was, and how I have had a bad experience with bleach in the past. She assured me she understood and that I wouldnt have any issues because I wasn't going lighter. Here's where things got bad... she insisted I lift my existing color because I had "box dyed" hair which was inconsistent- again I mentioned I do not want to damage my hair, and she again assured me this is a "Clay lifting treatment" that will not damage my hair. 6 hours & over $500 later, I had a great color and treatment- or so I thought because I could not tell what she had done on a full blow out. When I washed my hair at home, I realized my hair was terribly stringy, and when I combed it out I saw that an ENTIRE CHUNK of my hair was missing on my front left (so bad that I had to get bangs to try and hide the missing hair). I went back and gave them a chance to fix the terrible mistake- she offered me a quick conditioning treatment, but ALSO had the audacity to tell me she had noticed I was missing a chunk of hair when I had came into the appointment! So not only did she FRY my hair, she then lied about it and said it was existing?!?! Why didnt she mention anything at the service? Honestly... i do not know what they could possibly do to make this right, short of refunding me for the service- I just want to warn anyone else who is thinking of making the same mistake I did. The worse part is I had a great time at the salon with the stylist, and I thought we had created a good relationship. If this was all to charge me more- I am heartbroken because it will take years to fix this damage. I thought I was going to a reputable salon which is why I walked out paying over $500 dollars.
