My friend took me across the street to Salon Gerard to fix it, and despite me not having an appointment, Chenelle stayed late to trim my hair to fix the unevenness and cliffs and expertly calmed me down as I was still in shock. I really miss my long hair, but Chenelle styled it so well that I was not completely distraught and even gave me tips on how to preserve the blowout. She's not only highly talented as a stylist but also incredibly empathetic and reassuring in stressful situations. I would recommend her to everyone.

The Shop Salon opened a new location. It is beautiful, with a blend of bold colors, including…read moreblack, white, and pink decor. Since, this salon was just renovated everything's brand new. They even added a machine which keeps you warm, while you're waiting for your color treatment to work. Parking was a little tricky, but I am sure once I have done it a few times, it will become familiar. But, my favorite part of the salon is my stylist, DK. He is an expert professional and does a precise job with cutting and styling my hair. I love the way my hair looks, feels, and it is really easy to take care of. She did a great job with there hair and their hair types are both so different. One granddaughter has thick wavy hair and my other granddaughter has long, but thinner hair. Paula washed both girls hair. Then, she dried their hair before cutting. After she cut the hair, she textures the hair, and then styles it. My daughter goes to Paula for her hair too. The salon is decorated in purple and sparkles. Purple is my favorite color, so I loved the decor. Paula and her staff couldn't be any sweeter. She has 5 dogs and their pictures are artfully displayed in the salon. I thought the prices were very fair and reasonable. The girls looked beautiful and were very happy with their hairstyles. I was impressed how Paula asked each one what they wanted. And, she checked back to make sure they were happy with their looks. Their is a private parking lot behind the salon, which is very convenient. I can see why both granddaughters love going to get their hair styled.

My last keratin treatment was not done according to the manufacturers directions. It was not dried…read morebefore the solution was applied. The solution was supposed to be left on 30 minutes for all hair types and up to 45 minutes for coarse kinky hair. It was left on less than ten minutes. It is supposed to be applied in small sections and then combed through. It was not put on carefully as there were curly spots left after completion. It took one hr. The manufacturer says it should take 1.5 hours. When I asked about the missing steps, I was told she used a different cezanne treatment on me. There is only one cezanne for non blond hair. There is only an express and a regular. She said she did not use the express and I am not a blond. Very disappointed!
