"Went to Reliable Auto for a simple tire install and left with a completely destroyed BMW wheel lock key. The tech stripped it, chewed up the inside, and damaged the locking lug, then the shop refused to take responsibility. The key was NOT damaged before I gave it to them. I had to leave and replace the key myself. Rude staff, no accountability, and unprofessional service. Not safe for wheel or tire work. Filing a TDLR complaint." read more

BEWARE OF SAFETY VIOLATIONS. We made an appointment through Carmax for Monday to have a diagnostic done on our vehicle for an unsettling loud sound the vehicle was making. Reliable Automotive did not touch the van until Friday and said they could hear the sound but could not trace it to anything and we needed to just pick it up. Upon driving it, after they attempted to diagnose it, the steering alignment was off so horribly that the van started to wobble side to side on the highway. With my children scared in the car, I was forced to pull over and drive slowly with hazards on to take it back to the shop. Both my husband and myself spoke to Robert who insisted they did nothing wrong and we would have to pay for them to look at it again. We explained this major safety issue didn't occur until after it was in their care but Robert refused to budge or be of any assistance to us unless we paid them. We are now having the van towed off their property to be assessed somewhere else because it's no longer drivable. This was the worst customer service experience I've ever had and a real shame that Robert was unwilling to do the right thing. He showed zero compassion or caring for our family's experience. read more

Car guys here. I won't completely take a crap on this auto shop because I feel like they were cool guys, but I don't believe they did all they could to solve my transmission issues. My advice to others would be to take your car to an auto zone and read it for codes before taking it here because basically they charged me $100 just to do that.. Oh and I already have my own code reader so I know the car wasn't throwing any. read more

I am beyond satisfied with this place. Had a few issues with my truck that nobody else could identify for several months. Brought it in to Reliable and Anna was very nice and attentive throughout and kept me updated. Had a hiccup in the process but Anna and the team went above and beyond to get my vehicle fixed and back to me as soon as possible. I haven't had good experiences at previous auto repair shops, but reliable automotive renewed my faith entirely. Price was definitely fair if not better than other local shops. My son took his car in to get a few problems fixed about 3 months ago. The most serious was intermittent stalling when he would take off from a stop. They said they removed and checked the transmission and said it was shot. And they said they might as well replace the clutch while they're at it. Total = $6,000. I had them put it all back together because I wanted a second opinion. Took it to A1 Starter & Alternator and they plugged it into the analyzer and came back with a CPS (crankshaft positioning sensor) problem. They replaced that for $120 and problem solved. I waited to post this to ensure it was indeed fixed. read more

I brought my car into Lamb's on a Friday afternoon and Caleb and his team got my car in and out without an appointment. I initially brought it in for an oil change but I also asked Caleb to take a look at tires, filters, and run a diagnostic on the overall car. I wasn't sure if my tires needed to be replaced since I put tons of miles on my car for work. Caleb was super professional and gave me a call to let me know my tires were healthy! I appreciated knowing I can safely drive with my original tires for the at least a year. Before getting the work done, Caleb was very thorough and let me know the work they suggested getting done on my car besides the oil change (replace battery, air and cabin filter change). He explained the technical side and offered fair pricing. I felt comfortable moving forward and getting the work done. All that work took no longer than an hour ish, very impressive on a Friday afternoon! Lamb's did a great job and I will definitely be taking my car back to Lamb's once I do need to replace my tires! read more

AN EXCELLENT SHOP! I have been in here a few times and CHRISTIAN has always been personable and helpful. It's always tough to know whether to TRUST mechanics, incase they are looking to gauge you. However, I found that these guys seem to know what they are talking about and are willing to explain the car problems in detail to their customers. I needed an engine diagnostic, battery check, and oil change. I called Ford Griffith and they said they would need to keep my car for 8-10 days. I called Reliable and Christian said bring it in Saturday morning and we will get it done by the end of the day. It only took them 5 hours to complete everything on a Saturday. Christian was super friendly and a great sense of humor. On Monday my check engine light came on again and Christian said bring it here and we will see what happened. Although car repairs and parts left me broke as hell, with Christian's hospitality and Reliable's reliability I would recommend them 100 times over. read more

I dropped by for an alignment, the call to get service went well. They sold me a 1 year alignment and the left my tires towed out to far. My wife took it back and they told her they could not fix he tow because it needed parts they could not get. I called my mechanic and he recommended hill county automotive in Wimberley. The corrected the tow and not have to replace any parts. However I'm out another $100.00 dollars! read more

I have decided to update my review to 4 stars because I went in for an oil change at 9:30am and was told "They're working on 2 cars now and yours is up next". I watch my car go back at around 10am. I asked for an ETA around 10:45am and was told "They're just lifting it up now so about 45 minutes". Why did it take over an hour to finish the other cars oil changes? Why was my car brought back 45 min before the service was even beginning to start? How is it that there is a Take 5 Oil Change shop that can do an oil change while you're still in the vehicle, yet each time I've ever gone here to get my oil changed I've had to wait over an hour (at the MINIMUM)? I understand being busy, that is why I have never complained before and why my last review was 5 stars because I see they are doing the best they can but it is ridiculous to be told I'm up next, watch my car go back, and then be told I'm up next AGAIN an hour and a half later. read more

My dad's truck went in for replacement tires. After further investigation, Lamb's found more issues with the wheels and were able to repair the issues abd replace the tires in one day! The truck drives phenomenally now, it's a night and day difference. Definitely going back to get my car done after the new year! read more
