We were looking for someone to install large format porcelain tile to our old formica countertops in a mobile home we inherited and have been continually updating. I had a sloppy tile contractor who had missed several grout lines and several places had pin holes…read morethat ultimately would damage the tiles when cleaning them with water. Used Yelp to start getting bids on different contractors. Many of the contractors did not provide this kind of service or it was not worth their time. Peter the owner of Marblelife contacted me via Yelp and informed me that he could help with the grout lines. His initial visit was to inspect the tiles/grout and then provided me an estimate. He was able to order the custom grout for me which matched the color of the existing grout. Now most contractors would of done this job in a rush. Peter properly did the job and cleaned up on the spots that needed to be corrected. Most importantly, he did not leave the house dirty. His work is neat and precise. It took Peter approximately 8 hours to correct the work by the lousy contractor that we hired to install the tiles. Peter's costs are also reasonable and fair.

He's out here operating with a suspended license, stiffing the demo crew who tore out our flooring, and leaving us with a destroyed home and a half‑finished job. His installer barely got 10% done before the entire crew disappeared without a single word. I've tried calling. I've tried emailing. I even showed up at the local office -- all I got were pathetic excuses and zero accountability. The demo company and I have already filed complaints with the contractors board and the financing company because this man thinks he can just take people's money and run. How does a grown man blatantly steal, lie through his teeth, and operate with zero integrity? Every response he posts to negative reviews is defensive, rude, and dripping with shady behavior. He cannot be trusted. Nothing he says is real. And I have the documentation to back every bit of this up. I wish I had dug deeper before hiring him. If I can stop even one person from getting screwed the way we did, then at least this disaster serves a purpose.
