We took our airstream to this dealership service department since they are a certified airstream dealer. We had an issue with the house batteries staying charged. They tested it and it was a fuse, which was not covered by our warranty policy and we paid out of pocket. We had them fix it and assumed when we picked it up it would be working. After the 3 hour drive home, the house batteries still do not charge. It appears that after replacing the fuse, no one tested to see if it actually fixed the problem. They had the airstream for over a month. I tried calling immediately and did not receive a call back that day even though I left a message and called multiple times. I would have expected that once a repair is made that it be confirmed that it is resolved before charging me. read more

I live in California, but they gave me the best price for my Rv even with the cost of flying in and driving it back home. What sold me on this dealership was if for any reason I wanted to cancel the deal, my deposit was fully refundable. There is a dealership in Texas, that will not do that, and they kept my deposit. This is a terrible time to buy anything made with wood. If you notice, there has been a lot of complaints about Powder Post Beetles. These are wood-boring beetles that bore into the wood, lay legs, which then grow to maturity and bore their way out of the wood to begin the cycle again. They are often found in new campers, furniture, wood flooring, and cabinets. Bringing them into your home will cost you a lot of money. Finding an exterminator that will try to eradicate them is difficult. If you have them in your camper it is almost impossible to get rid of them. First, you have to convince the RV dealer that you bought it that way. You did, they just don't want to admit it. Then you have to get them to fix it. This is the difficult part, even if it is under warranty. MINE IS. They used infested wood to build the camper. Forest River will stone wall you when you file the claim. Do not buy a Forrest River Camper. I bought one almost a year ago and when the mature beetles started to emerge through the walls of the camper, I filed a claim under my warranty. First they ignored my claim. Then I complained to the North Carolina Depart of Justice. This got Forrest Rivers attention. Forest river tells me they will fumigate the camper, repair the wood damage by the beetles and redo the whole process if the beetles return. That may sound good but let's think about it. First they did not fumigate the camper. They removed the paneling in one spot and sprayed the wall. That is not fumigation, that is a band aid. The adult beetles that have emerged this summer have flown around the camper and laid eggs. These eggs will hatch in 6 months. And I will need to have the process done again. So Each year when I am ready to go camping, I will have to remove everything from the camper, drive it to the dealer, and have the camper fixed again. This is my first year with this camper, and I have not been able to use my camper for 3 months. So, every year when I am ready to go camping, I will actually be waiting to get my camper back from the dealer. I WANT THE CAMPER I PAID FOR. NEW, NOT INFESTED, READY TO USE. NOT FULL OF BUGS THAT I MGHT ACCIDENTY BRING IN TO MY HOUSE. AND WITHOUT THE NEED FOR YEARLY FUMIGATION AND REPAIR. I paid with money that they can use. I what a camper I can use. Don't believe a word they say. Have the rv inspected by some or have in writing they will fix anything wrong. Bought a 2020 Grand Design and was told, there shop would look over and if anything wrong would let us know. Since we are close to 70 we was going to wait for son in law look before we bought but assured us everything was good. When we got home there was 3 holes above the door in the roof,refrigerator wont work,notice a window had been replaced with plexiglass. And Skylight was leaking. After several arguments they attempted to patch roof. Horrible job. read more

I had a great experience buying here. I'm in California but they had a car I particularly wanted and Cassidy the salesman I dealt with was so accommodating and nice. He truly went out of his way to make sure I was comfortable with every aspect even sending a video and pictures just as my shipping company picked up the car. The only thing I was a bit disappointed in was the car came without a spare. I assume they just didn't take a look in the rear compartment as It was a used car. read more

I have now bought 2 cars here and was very happy with both salesmen. The problem was when I went to title my vehicle, 2 days before my temp tags expired. I learned that the inspection expired almost 2 weeks prior...because it was dated almost 2 months before I bought the car. These things are mailed out to you after the purchase. The license bureau said the dealer could just fax a new one. The dealer would not. So after I sat waiting in the line at the dmv, I had to drive across town and get the car reinspected, then back across town to the dmv and wait in line, AGAIN! The manager at Reliable said, "Sometimes it happens." And he made it seem like he was saying it was my fault for waiting to license it. My response was that most people don't pay their sales tax right away but usually wait as long as possible. (This I also confirmed with the people at the dmv.) The lady who mails all this stuff to you from the dealership said, "the inspection didn't expire until March 12th." (I bought the car on Feb 23). The thing that really bugs me is that no one ever apologized for the inconvenience. It's like once you buy the car and they've got your money, customer service goes out the door! I was only able to give them a 4 star rating because I only shopped and did not buy from Reliable. We figured out what Class A motorhome we wanted and we started to search for it at the best price. I found an ad on RV trader for a coach offered by Reliable RV and I started talking to Nate and Rich about the coach. As it turned out the coach did not have what we needed, but they found another for us and called back quickly with details. Ultimately we were able to find the RV locally so we could avoid the 2500 miles roundtrip that we would have had to make to buy the RV here - but it was very tempting. Unfortunately we both work, so taking that much time off of work to make the trip just made the deal not a great value. In my search for the right coach at the best price I talked to sales departments from Arizona to Florida and places in between. I had every kind of unpleasant salesperson to deal with. But that was not the case with Nate and Rich. They just tried to find what I was looking for and get me the best price. And they offered us more for our trade that the competition. If we ever decide to change motorhomes again I will certainly give these guys a call. read more

If these people treat all the customers like I have been treated the only 2 times I have been there, they shouldn't be around long, but they will be. Warranty issue on 1 car took them 4 days and it was a simple reflash of the ECM. Ridiculous. Service advisor did a horrible job on communicating with us, I actually had to call them a few times to find out status. The second time I was looking at a used truck and was told they couldn't get me financed because of an issue on my credit report, which completely baffled me. How strange that I could get 3.99% through Chrysler on a new $40k Ram. My feeling is the used car sales manager was passing a personal opinion and that cost him a sale. I wouldn't step foot into this dealership if I didn't need too. Unfortunately, if I have a warranty issue, I won't have a choice. I'm glad I wasn't living here when we bought the car, or that deal would have probably gone bad too. I believe this dealership group was recently acquired by Birkshire Hathaway and I would hard pressed to think this is the way they want to do business. this review is of the Used Car Sales Department. Earlier this year I was in looking for an explorer to replace a vehicle that was totaled. The sales guy met us in the parking lot as they normally do. I explained our plight & that we were interested in an Explorer not to different tan the one we had lost. The price was about 2000 more than what I was willing to pay & was honest about this, he said "we can ask the manager & if he says no then we're no worse off." I agreed & the manage came to us at that point & acted offended that we would offer such a low number, as if we personally attacked him. I explained to him I did not like the way he approached us in that way & if he did not like my offer I could & would spend my money somewhere else. The icing on the cake was that by the next weekend this dealership had lowered the price to what I had offered on the Explorer... Why would you wait 7 days to try to sell at the same price you were offered? Why would you try to embarrass a prospective customer? I know we all have bad days but I personally will not be looking to spend money with they ever if i can help it. read more

We have a Airstream Classic 2020. Bought it used and ask them to look at a few things. One was replacing the Propane sensor. We had cut wires because it was beeping. We also had a big wet spot under the Alde system. Wanted them to trouble shoot it. We got it back the only thing they fixed was a rivet. I had to point out the one they missed. While there they had to replace a side light. Which my husband felled told tell me. But they also felled to fix the scratch next to it. They said they didn't find a leak. But amazing when we got home it leaked. $750 later. The only thing they fixed was 2 rivets. My husband trouble shot the problem and pin pointed the leak. Called them back and told them they would need to replace the flow tank. They informed us they were not certified to work on the Alde. So why did you try to find the leak when you knew you couldn't fix it? They maybe good at selling but not fixing. read more

We bought a 2018 Thor Windsport 35M from this company on 11/23/18. When we went to pick the rig up, it had a lot of issues. The service center 'supposedly' fixed them but when we got home, we noticed many of the issues had not been fixed correctly and we also found all the batteries were dry and damaged. We contacted Mr. Rothfuss and he said he would reimburse us for new batteries. We replaced the batteries and they have refused to reimburse us. We have found over 20 problems with this rig due to poor workmanship and poor prepping service at Reliable RV. We will never use them again. Buyer Beware. read more

Complements to both Christopher and James Rothfuss. I searched local 5th wheel dealers in California where I live until I found the model I wanted, 34' Heartland Bighorn. Then I searched the used market on RV Trader. After a few months I found the one I was looking for at Reliable RV in Springfield MO a 2014 model for half the price of a new one. Christopher was very helpful and patient e-mailing back and forth answering questions and sending additional pictures. We negotiated a price and I drove to Springfield Missouri to buy it. On my way back to California I had a problem with the levering system showing low voltage. James authorized me to purchase new batteries and he would reimburse me. I still had the same message and he authorized me to have it repaired at a dealer in California and he would reimburse me. It was a relay that was repaired and I am very happy with my rig. We purchased a 2012 motorhome from Reliable RV. If it would not have been for the bargain on the coach we purchased and us knowing and having the capabilities of performing most all of our own maintenance/repairs, we would have walked away. The Service Department at Reliable leaves a lot to be desired of. Coach had multiple items that were wrong with it, after we had been told that everything had been checked prior to our arrival and all was supposed to have been in good working order. Sewer tank had not been emptied and was found to be a sludge mess, generator would not run and was supposed to have been serviced but found a gelled up fuel filter and fuel supply line. Return line had been removed and proceeded to pump fuel into the generator housing. The dash air was not working and service department tried to top off with a can of refrigerant purchased at auto parts store. The coach had not been prepped for customer presentation, it was filthy dirty inside and out. Both refrigerators had moldy food in them and toilets had dried up waste in them. Walk around instructions were horrific! Individual doing the walk around had not educated himself about the many and some complex functions of the coach. I will give credit where credit is due even though we had to stand our ground. Reliable serviced the engine and facilitated several outstanding recalls, replaced a touch screen radio/navigation system, water tank sensor, several light lenses and paid for the repair of a seat base that had hacked up wires to the power base. Another concerning matter was the fact that they misrepresented the actual mileage of the coach on all the official paper/title work. In most States this is against the law. I do thank Reliable RV for one thing. As a business owner I was reminded that our products need to always be the best or what we say that they are (not to misrepresent) and we need to be knowledgeable about the products we are selling. Most importantly to be honest with Customers all the time. Bottom line is, buyer beware and be informed if you decide to do business with Reliable RV. read more

My parents worked very hard to get to a point where they could purchase a new RV. It's the one thing they've been passionate about as long as I can remember. They finally get one and it's a lemon. Their 2018 Forest River Georgetown has literally spent more time in the shop than it has on the road. They have had to cancel four planned trips. And now a trip that they have saved for years to go on with their friends is in danger because "Reliable" (get the oxymoron?) can't seem to get parts in to fix this brand new RV they just sold them. What's worse is that they won't even lift a finger to try to help them trade out of it. read more

We recently took delivery of our 2017 Navion. Rick Muller, our sales rep was fantastic and was one of the reasons we purchased from Reliable. Unfortunately, service was substandard. We were given our walk-thru by an individual who was unfamiliar with our model. When we asked questions, one response was that we should read the manual..... We later learned that our title paperwork through the finance department was sent to the wrong address and will take several weeks to rectify. Finally, after being assured that the vehicle rattles had been taken care of, we got on the road only to discover that the rattles hadn't been fixed. Frustrating to say the least, so we cannot recommend Reliable to anyone. read more

UNreliable Half@$$ Imports is more like it! The bad taste in my mouth started March 2012 when I bought a used 2005 Equinox on their lot. Three days into the purchase, my vehicle was having issues with temp fluctuations - rather than take the time to properly diagnose, they immediately blamed the thermostat and r@ped me with the cost of that. Two days later, a head gasket blew. Thank god for warranties!! I was promised my vehicle back in two weeks...and that turned into 5 weeks. They fixed only ONE gasket which consequently lead to the other blowing. Really? Idiots. Throughout the duration of my warranty, I had my vehicle serviced there and each trip was a complete hassle. They'd have my Equinox for days at a time for silly stuff and would often leave it sitting in the lot completed but never calling me. When my warranty ran out, I requested the paperwork from the gasket job only to find out they did the absolutely bare minimum. Granted a timing chain is never supposed to break, they had the opportunity to replace everything while they were in the engine (5 weeks is PLENTY of time IMO). Whatever. In March of 2014, I bought a 2002 Forester and considering they're the only lot to specialize in Subs, I thought I'd do myself a favor and have an overheating issue diagnosed at Reliable. Bare in mind I have a CarFax with maintenance literally EVERY THREE MONTHS (don't argue with me that it's going to have things missing..because it doesn't) with 90% of the work being done at Reliable. Head gaskets, timing belt - you name it, this car had it done!!! Well, they spent an hour of my money to tell me (excuse me, argue) that my heads blew and I likely warped the head. Really?! How many Subarus do YOU know that need two head gasket jobs less that 45k miles apart? None - unheard of. The service writer even had the balls to tell me that I might as well have the timing belt done since who knows who did it (um YOU did pri**) and replace the other stuff in the engine. So wait. You wanna replace all that stuff in my Sub for $3500 but couldn't do the same for my Equinox? Right. Had the Sub towed to JBC on Kearny and they drove the car several times (I told them it wasn't leaving them until the problem is found). Guess what? It was a $45 sensor. And I got the communication and respect I wanted. Never again, UNreliable. Never again. read more

I took my car into the service center because it had died and wouldn't charge the battery properly. Within ten minutes of having my car, the genius mechanic managed to lock my keys inside my car. Thankfully after unlocking the car with my back up set the geniuses figured out the problem and returned me a working car. read more

Knowledgeable but not pushy. We were buying an Airstream travel trailer, which aren't cheap, but the value we found at Reliable was the best, and we had shopped a lot. DO NOT FINANCE YOUR PURCHASE AT RELIABLE. And spend as little time with their finance guy as possible. He's slick and deceptive. He mentioned several time that video cameras were recording the signing process. I can see why. Giving a 1 only because ZERO is not an Option! We are thoroughly disgusted with everytjing regarding reliable rv, Or UNreliable RV as our kids have started to call it. We purchased a 2015 Coachman Pursuit. Drove all the way down from Wisconsin to get it. All of the things listed we found out almost immediately upon leaving the lot or within the first 2weeks of possession. The air conditioning tripped the breaker right on the lot which we questioned immediately. The service guy going through the coach with us told us it was a bad breaker on the pole. Ok, at that moment we took that answer, it was plausible. We found out quick enough that it wasnt their breaker It was the air conditioning unit that wasnt working properly. It needs to be completely replaced. Its shot. Those problems caused serious issues with our generator, causing it to shut off, not start, over heat, finally melting a wire and shut down our entire electrical system. Thank God my husband is an electrician and very capable of fixing things or we would have been stuck numerous times. Our power bunk fell off the track while at a campground. Luckily none of us were under it. The entire system needs to be replaced. The bolt busted in the power steps. They cant just replace the bolt, the entire step sytem needs to be replaced. Sway bar bushings busted. Awning screws loose and/or missing. Almost fell off side of RV, noticed immediately upon arriving at home Exhaust pipe fell of generator before we were 1 mile off the lot after purchase. Slide out bump stops are no good. We contacted them in regards to these things immediately. Several of those issues they knew about but had been fixed by a technician, that was no longer with them, prior to us purchasing. Clearly they were not fixed. Which was acknowledged by management. They got us into a local shop to get everything fixed. Reimbursed us for the $270 we spent out on the road and then said when they got the report from the shop they would take care of everything. Apologized over and over. Well thats where they stopped returning emails and phone calls. Had we known this would happen we would have just drove it right back to Missouri!!! Our coach is still in the shop. Going on 2months now. Its taken all this time for them to fix all the issues. Minus the air conditioning which still needs to be fixed. Reliable RV has received the report. We have called over and over, sent emails. They haven't contacted us at all. In the big scheme of things they hardly have a bill to pay because we submitted this to our extended warranty, Which we shouldn't!!!! They should take care of all of it! This is their responsibility and have left us hanging. Disgusting! I would never buy from them again. Which is their loss. Had they treated us well they would have had repeat customers. read more

Very disappointed in Reliable RV. We drove 3 hours to purchase a 2018 Winnebago Era . Everyone was so nice when we were looking at the RV. The problem is they did not tell us we should have it winterized & let us drive off the lot with water in the pipes that they put there. The pipes froze and the toilet broke. We had to pay over them $600 to have them fix it. It took two days & I had to pay for a motels. The day after we purchased it the infotainment system quit working. We had asked them to update the infotainment system since the navigation system said it needed updated. They said they updated it, but they never did. We also told them the van vibrated when taken over 60 mph. They never took care of it. Now we have to take the van to another dealer to get 2 new front tires since they are worn on the inside. Also have to get it aligned. We still have to have the infotainment system fixed because they say they can't fix it. Very disappointed in our experience and will not go back there. read more

Very upset about their high pressure tactics to get you to buy extended warranty and other items you don't want and don't need. The salesmen are good, they give you a deal and you take it to the financial manager. Then they try to tack a few thousand extra onto the bill. After telling the financial manager at least five times I didn't want extended warrant and him ignoring everything I was saying I told him the conversation was over. His comment about "Do you just fail to see the value of extended warranty" was like calling me stupid. He walked out, his boss came in and tried the same crap. I told him I just wanted to buy the car with the numbers I came in with. He didn't want to hear it. I walked out. I'll buy in the city, they give a better deal anyway. Never going to Reliable again. read more

If I could give negative stars, I would. I had a new transmission put in under warranty on my 2012 Genesis in late September and got it back around the 12th of October. That went very well, actually. The service loaner was a new Mazda 3, and although it was small, it was great. Upon getting my car back, the service tech Brandon Dugan admitted that there was some RPM fluctuation upon shifting, but it should smooth out after driving a little bit as the computer learns the shift points. It failed to smooth out by the next day, and I even noticed there was a noise on downshifts from 5th to 4th gear. I called up my service advisor, and he agreed to meet up the next Monday to hear it. Upon meeting, he witnessed and admitted to both issues, and we agreed to call on Wednesday to see what his supervisor suggested. I called as instructed, and he hadn't spoken to his manager yet because they were very busy, but he was very quick to sweep me under the rug saying things like "it'll be very hard to find out where that noise is coming from, and I cannot guarantee that your car is going to shift perfect 100% of the time." Problem is: it's a new transmission. It should be as near to perfect as humanly possible. Having that noise on downshifts and the RPM fluctuation every time I drive it is unacceptable. He said his manager would call me back by the end of the day, yet I never received a call. I waited about a week before sending a letter articulating my issues to the GM of the dealership. That letter fell on deaf ears, so I went to corporate. I worked with a rep out of California with Hyundai by the name of Walisha. She attempted to set up a service appointment with the dealership 4 separate times over the course of 5 weeks by calling in and talking to a service advisor, to which she was told they would absolutely reach out to me. They never did. Finally, she tried emailing the GM directly as a last resort. It failed as well. She then transferred my claim to a rep out of their regional corporate office in Texas by the name of Joanna. She was able to finally get them to schedule a service appointment in about 4 business days. I dropped off my car on Tuesday, December 20th, and they were going to have a tech from corporate come out to test my car the next day. Fast forward to Friday, January 6th. I called at 2pm because, after 2 and a half weeks, I had heard NOTHING about my car. Brandon was of course busy, so I was told he would call me back to give me an update. As usual, he didn't. Here we sit on Wednesday, January 11th, and I took time out of my day to personally go up there to see what the status of my car was. I talked to Sara, the director of customer relations, where I was told that my car had cleared their tests and "nothing was found wrong" and that I would have to take it up with the dealership that I purchased the car through. So, they had my car for 3 weeks after testing it only to tell me there was "nothing that they could find wrong". How long would they have had it if I hadn't physically gone up there to inquire about it? Sara was very nice, but there was nothing they could do. Not only that, but they couldn't even produce a service ticket because "a rep from their dealership didn't perform the service, a corporate tech did". I was presented a ridiculous piece of paper that only had my year, make and model as well as a half cut off screen grab of the tech's software that showed some shift points. Even if it was something the average customer could read, it still didn't show many data points such as speeds, gears, etc. There was no dates, mileage in and out, service tech names, etc. I drove my car for a couple hours, and wouldn't you know it, there is still an intermittent issue with RPM fluctuation on shifts in the higher gears. At this point, I talked to my rep at corporate out of Texas, and she stated that she talked to the regional service director. She said that he claims "an RPM fluctuation is normal". Yeah...no. I have never owned a car that had an RPM spike during shifts that was "normal". All she said she could do was give me info to the Better Business Bureau as if that pay-for-ratings scam outfit could actually do something. I requested that she do her best to get me a real service document from the dealership, but she said that it would have to be from the dealership itself, so we're back to square one since they don't have anything on file since apparently "they can't produce a service document since one of their techs didn't service the car". The service department of this dealership is a total joke. I wouldn't purchase a car from them if they paid me to. read more

My first impression was good, but from there it has gone down hill. My last experience which was with the auto repair service last weekend was HORRIBLE! I was continually demeaned by the guy who worked the parts desk. He kept asking me the same question over and over again without ever listening to me and then told me that to "fix the problem" on a routine oil change was for me to spend another $600 to fix their mistake several months back!! Are you serious? Apparently, the last time I had my oil changed there they didn't put the right plug back in and now I need a new oil pan which they are wanting me to pay for. Bottom line, if you can buy a car there and not have to return for service - its a keeper - otherwise stay clear and be warned! read more

I currently own 3 Subaru's. My 2104 Outback has had a problem with hesitation and has been in the shop 3 times. My problem was addressed by Derek the service manager. Hw wasn't given the information from Subaru Corporate to fix my extreme hesitation problem. I contacted corporate who closed the case and said it was to be expected!! I called the General Manager on 3 different occasions left contact info that I wasn't ticked with Reliable but needed his help. 11 days later no response from Craig Riser. Looked at At SUV's we got to look without being bugged. Once we got someone we got to test drive the car. We had the option of him riding with or without. We picked with. He showed us everything thing that the car had it was really nice. James was our sells person. read more

One star is too much. Had RV serviced and detailed here. Both turned out bad. WAY overpriced and screwed everything up. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else. read more
