Part was covered under warranty however labor was not. We was quoted a price for the labor. Said go ahead what the hell just fix it. So a few minutes later and $200.00 + for labor costs the job was completed. By the way the part was $20.00 on line. I should have remember that a few years back I helped a neighbor replace the same part on his AC unit. Job took all of 5 minutes. Wish I would have remembered this, my own fault. App. $50.00 or so for labor costs yes but $200.00 plus is a bit steep.

We needed to have a special HVAC inspection to assure ourselves that the furnace did not need to be replaced. Scott examined the equipment, diagnosed the problem, and then did the repair work before we moved in. This included correcting faulty insulation and sealing the ductwork so that the system would reach its optimal efficiency. We have had him return for additional work, including replacing the thermostats and a faulty circuit board, installing clean-out valves for easy maintenance, and even installing two motion sensors (which is usually electrical). Most recently we had a problem with the house humidifier and he came over on a slushy Saturday morning to fix it. He fully explains the work that needs to be done. He provides excellent advice and is always helpful. We have been pleased with all of the work that he has done. During my many years of home ownership, you won't find anyone better.
