Found this gem of a bar by accident. I can't believe I haven't been to this location sooner. In my honest opinion, there are many things about this bar that I love. First, the parking was big enough for our company truck and it is free! Second, the beers is probably the most affordable on this island, even when it's not "Happy Hour"! Third, all the pupus and many of the food on the menu is made fresh and with love... Thank you chef! The bartenders were all very very friendly, kind, easy to talk to and attentive. This is a very happy place, cozy and the TVs were located in the right place. Sit at the bar or the tables, you'll get great service. The oyster shooters is on another level! I have to say, a hidden gem sports bar. Very cheap drinks and food that are delicious and refreshing. A lot of old timers and regulars, but it was easy for Sunday football and a drink. Waitress took care of us, just wish there were more than two. They were constantly moving and made sure to check on us when they could. A hidden gem!!! Stumbled upon this place looking for somewhere to watch the football games and get some lunch. I will definitely be going back!!! Cute little restaurant with great vibes. Our waitress (I think her name was Teisha, I'm so sorry if that is not correct)- but she was AMAZING. So friendly and sweet and ensured that we were always taken care of. The food? AMAZING. Everything we ordered was delicious. I didn't get a pic of the Spicy Ahi Katsu or the Bacon Garlic Fried Rice- obvi I was too excited to get a bite of each to remember to take a pic. Our bellies were so full but I'll definitely be going back to try some of their other dishes! Their oyster shooters are also really good! We tried both the regular ones with quail eggs and the opihi one. We had the idea to combine both but it was kind of a lot to eat in one bite haha. But definitely recommend either! From best Granny outfit contest, which I won and best twerking Granny contest. The service and food were good. The Korean Chicken was a must try . Its right by Yajima Gas Station -great place to have Pau Hana drinks and pupus- kinda like Side Street vibe except more selections- the food we ate was tasty - ono fried rice- crispy korean chicken on a bed of cabbage, BLT sliders very tasty even tasted healthy cause had arugula in it! Last minute decision to check this place out. We were looking for a bar/restaurant to chill at and came across this place. A little bit of a sketch area but it was fine. Not that big of a place but vibe is cool! We LOVED the music that was playing and our bartender/server was great! She was attentive and personable. Food was pretty good too! We had the corned beef fried rice which was good but TOO sweet to my liking. Oysters shooters on point! They even had Opihi shooters! Wow! Went in just before happy hour ended on a Sunday. There was a small group of people in the place but they were LOUD. One person was screaming and screeching for no apparent reason. We stayed anyway. My friend and I arrived pretty late on a Tuesday and decided to order UberEats. I picked the first restaurant and ordered the Korean fried chicken with beef fried rice and wow was this delicious. This was probably my favorite meal during my visit. We did end up checking out the actual bar on another day, arriving around 9pm. The bar was pretty dead, but it seemed like they were setting up for live music. The service was okay - the waiter didn't really check on us that much, but the food was delicious. However, we did end up leaving our card by mistake and noticed another charge at the bar happened lol. It was kind of disappointing to see that, but overall, the food was amazing and I highly recommend giving it a try. read more

After seeing the raving reviews online, I was excited to try this spot. I went for Taco Tuesday and it was good for some cheap beers and shots! But I wouldn't bother trying the tacos or Mexican fries, they are laughable (I actually laughed) if you've ever tried any basic Mexican food other than Taco Bell. It's like the chef didn't even try lol. The tortillas for the tacos were straight out of the bag, not even steamed or heated. The fries were topped with almost burned salty ground hamburger meat, cheese whiz, and pickled jar jalapenos, I think the chef might have worked at 7-11 in a past life lol read more

Love this place! They have their own parking lot. People will love that there's no charge to park in it either. Very clean modern interior. Lots of tables and chairs with windows. Came here for a party again. They have a small private VIP room including karaoke machine. Karaoke machine costs $1 person (may change later) with a ton of songs. Customer service was awesome and no pretentiousness lol just the VIP room could be a little bigger, was tight for 12 people. In the lobby area they have a modern jukebox to pick songs. read more

Safe free parking, plenty of space inside, great spot for groups! We came here for date night. It was a bit loud to carry a meaningful conversation but a great ambiance to hang out with friends. The bartender was the waitress and was cheerful, helpful, and attentive. They have beer bucket specials, melona soju, opihi dishes, a popular poke trio, and great fried rice. This is my favorite local bar. It's across the street from our condo at Hawaiki tower. We found it the first time we came to Honolulu. The customer service is pretty good. It has a locals vibe and a fun atmosphere. I've been back several times & each time is better and better. I've only eaten here once but the food was good and of course the drinks are great. Another night at the bar. This weekend wasn't as packed surprisingly. But i like it when there's space to move around. I came out here for one of my home girls birthday party! It was very casual and the staff reserved four tables for her party which was great. They also change a few fixtures which i actually liked too. As usual, i like to start with parking. But first, if ever you plan to go the Remixx coming from the freeway, I'd suggest exiting Kinau st. And making your way towards Pensacola st. And THEN take your left turn (by Inspiration furniture store) on Kapiolani blvd... stay on your farthest right to make a Right turn on Piikoi st. And then you'll find a remixx business front entrance... side street parking is available but always a gamble obvi. However, if you pass Remixx front entrance and take a Right turn (like you were headed towards ward/ Nordstrom Rack/South shore marketplace), there's a private parking lot when you make the first right after passing the front doors! Park anywhere as you please but please do be courteous and give leeway or space for others who'd love to come too! :) I came in and they took my temperatures the door including my info of where i live (covid rules). My friends were already here and there you go... i already had a Long Island iced tea clearing for me lol. I didn't take much pictures of the food and drinks but i must admit that their steak, sashimi, edamame, and truffle fries are alwaysssss good, especially if you are drinking and you want to eat light (or pupu style) as time passes. For the most part, i enjoyed their Long Island iced tea as it was perfectly mixed (not too strong and not too sober-tasting haha). We got shots of patron with lime and black salt on the rim for atleast every 30 minutes (gosh i was not sober anymore lol). We played darts too which was fun! I met a few new friends that night as well! The bathrooms are clean but with the space, i still hope that they create another stall hopefully. Other than that, it was a fun ass night like it always is at Remixx! Better off making a RSVP so you're guaranteed a spot. Small dart area with a small lounge with couches. Karaoke is in effect. $2.00 per song. Music on rotation was a good mix (at least tonight was) Now to the good part, drinks and fooooodddd!!! Gosh, one word! Worthy!!! I was afraid to order my old-fashioned due to the fact that most establishments don't know how to make one correctly. But damn' on point!!! Their drink menu has some interesting originals that I would definitely try if I didn't have such a far drive. Definitely next time. Food was a party in my mouth! I know this phrase has been coined by Olive Garden, but "when you're here, you're family" should be owned by Remixx. My husband and I strolled in here one evening to watch the Lakers game and they graciously changed the channel for us tourists. We started off with some drinks and food and as the evening progressed, we realized that we didn't even watch the game because we were having so much fun with the patrons and the staff. This bar is unassuming and located right across the street from Nijiya market by the Ala Moana mall. It's definitely a local bar, I didn't see a lot of tourists besides us and it seemed like it was filled with regulars who knew everyone who was working, but we were still treated as though we were regulars. Aside from the service, the drinks are great. Can't complain about a cocktail that tastes good and will give me a good buzz. The food is AWESOME. They get their bread from a local bakery and it was the fluffiest bread I've ever had, it was almost like eating cotton candy but with more chew (I swear it's a positive thing). I got the corned beef fried rice with a sunny side up egg *chefs kiss*. I don't even know what my husband ordered because he ate it all so quick haha. I wish I had pictures, but I guess I ate the food before I remembered to! I will definitely be coming here every time I come to Hawaii and telling everyone else about it too. read more

We were there at 4:30 and the bar was full, only staffed by one waitress/bartender. I felt bad because she was handling all the customers and some of the drinks are rather elaborate. We held a private baby shower party at the Remixx Bar & grill this past weekend. Tasha, who is a friend of mine and owner along with her partner, Mariah. It was my first time visiting this beautiful bar located on 434 Piikoi street. It is not hard to find and there were lots of parking available in the back and also on the streets are metered parking. We catered food from their menu. The food was Ono, the staff were great and super friendly. Music was available through touch tunes so it was nice to be able to select our songs. Lots of space to practice social distancing. Love the photo op backdrop. We had a really great time and didn't want to leave but there was another private party after us. Definitely will be back!! The truth is I love this place. The bartenders are extremely good at their craft and friendly. Strong drinks. But they're often CLOSED on key nights (like Saturday nights!!) for private parties.
