He persisted and succeeded in dismantling a very large and heavy desk that appeared to be a built in but we needed to get out. Two movers, who were assigned to help clear out the furniture from my place, were extremely courteous, accommodating, professional, and efficient. I would never use these guys again. terrible communication, promise of call backs within 24 hours and two weeks goes by. arrived way outside my scheduled window, which was a massive inconvenience to my work day, resulting in having to move meetings and commitments. i asked for a credit ahd they said maybe, "we'll call you back" but who knows if I'll hear from them. I was also told they weren't sure if my sofa is consignable after getting approval online that it was. as an aside, the movers themselves were great and I have nothing against the men who came to collect my furniture. but to the company remoov, DO BETTER. read more

I don't know if there are actual human beings at this company or just AI bots. I scheduled a video consultation to move out all items from an apartment. I waited for an hour and no one showed up. I called the help line included with the link for the video tour and the number didn't work. About an hour later, I got a text saying I missed the call. I did not. the host never showed. They then asked if I wanted to reschedule. I told them I live an hour away from the apartment, so if we reschedule, please make sure someone shows up this time. They offered Monday, and I said I wasn't available Monday, but I could do Tuesday. They automatically rescheduled me for Wednesday, not the day I requested. To avoid another no-show, I forwarded photos of the items as they suggested. I then got 4 automated emails from different "support people" all with different instructions. "We need a video." "please send photos" (I already did). "We've already rescheduled you, so see you then." and another "sorry we missed your call. Would you like to reschedule?" All of this was highly suspicious. So I called another service that had an actual human being who answered the phone and spoke with me about my needs. Will probably go with them. Obviously, I do not recommend Remoov. I couldn't even get through the quote process. read more

Team arrived on time, ready for the pickup. One of the team members was not great in the move, he banged up our wall while moving the furniture so we ended up helping move our chairs, which slightly defeat the purpose of hiring the team. And one of the glass leafs of our table definitely got dinged up as well. Overall the skills and professionalism of the team was lacking. read more

All's Well That Ends Well - Part 1 5 STARS for the PICKUP/HAULING TEAM!! With a house stuffed w/ furniture/furnishings that I needed cleared out --sold, donated or recycled-- I tried Remoov. Last Wednesday (Sept 2), the team of 5 guys and two 24 foot trucks did an AMAZING job in 3 hours. Very large, delicate and heavy Thai teak carvings and statues, large furniture pieces and everything else got loaded onto the trucks. Items tagged for "consignment/sale" received white glove handling; items for donation/recycle, not so much but understandable and acceptable to me. Things did not start out so well with Remoov: initially (Tues Aug 11), it was easy to find info on their website and start uploading photos of everything. BUT I had lots of stuff and 100+ photos. I called to ask about an onsite walkthrough and was told I didn't qualify. On Wednesday, Aug 12th I uploaded many photos, with intermittent 404 error messages (which meant I couldn't review what I had submitted to check for errors), but eventually I completed their photo-upload process. On Saturday Aug 15th I emailed asking for a status update and received a prompt reply that I should get their estimate by Monday. On Tuesday Aug 18, I emailed again as I did not receive an estimate and I was locked out w/ 404 error messages. On Thurs Aug 20th, after no response to my Tues email, I emailed again saying that if I didn't hear back by EOB Friday I'd assume they didn't want the job and look elsewhere (which I was doing anyway). On Friday Aug 21, they responded w apologies stating I should have my estimate Monday. No estimate on Monday, but on Tues Aug 25 Remoov emailed to say they were actively working on the estimate (and noted the large volume of stuff I had). On Thu Aug 27 I emailed again and was promised the estimate later that day. FINALLY, on Friday Aug 28 I received the estimate -- which I will review separately once Remoov completes the sell / donate process. Scheduling the pickup was relatively easy except customer service had to intervene to schedule 2 trucks and 5 guys for the large job. The crew arrived on time (well within the 3 hour window). They were friendly, efficient and careful and that's why Remoov is getting 4 stars which I'll revise if necessary to reflect the sale / donation process. End of Part 1 read more

If they had been on time, I would have left them 5 stars. I had set a window for 8 to 11 AM. I received no call or text or any confirmation, so at 9:30 I decided to call and confirm they were actualy coming. The receptionist assured me they were, and would notify me 30 minutes before arrival. At 10:40, I had not heard anything, so I called again, the receptionist told me she'd reach out to the movers nad get back to me. At 10:55 I received a text they were 20 minutes out. They did eventually show up at 11:25. All I'm saying is a confirmation call that morning telling me they would be toward the end of my window would have been appreciated. Alex and his team were fantastic. Very personable. Very professional and efficient. My issue is with the Remoov website and process. They say to take photos of what you want removed, and they will send you a quote. If you accept the quote - you schedule the pickup. What they DON'T tell you is that you need to take a picture of EVERY SINGLE thing. If you're getting rid of a bed - you need to take a picture of the bed AND the box spring AND the mattress. If you're getting rid of shelves, that's fine - but they don't resell shelves. They go to the "dump" and they charge you a recycle fee. Same with other furniture. Except there's no receipt for the dump fee. Once the stuff is out of your house, it's gone. I find it hard to believe that they really "dumped" all the brand new furniture. Also - you cannot get ANYBODY on the phone during the removal. AND, there's no follow up. And, even if you ask: "are there any other fees," and Remoov says "no" - the truth is - there are. If they decide something will cost more to dispose of than estimated - they charge you. Also - beware - there's a tip. That's not mentioned anywhere - though it's really not unexpected. The guys were great. And honestly, when moving out - it's a relatively small price to pay to avoid the hassles of moving yourself. But the process was not as transparent as the website suggests. read more

Douglass and his partner (ugh I can't remember his name) were really great. They were so careful with the furniture they were moving and with my apartment. They wrapped what needed to be wrapped bc they didn't want the sofa opening up while moving. Plus they were super efficient. I would definitely use them again! I'm sorry I don't remember the other person's name. Both guys were great. My window was 2-5. at 2:15 they called me to say they would be by in 15 mins and asked if that was ok. The movers were very polite and efficient. We left three rooms in our parents' house with stuff in place (not packed) and they took care of it for a very reasonable fee. Process of booking and scheduling was easy online. Do pick up the phone and call if you have any concerns, you'll get a real person to explain everything. Please also be aware that the client's opinion of what's sellable might not match...um...reality. We had a dining set we thought might sell, but the movers kindly explained that older (not antique) stuff and even normal wear-and-tear can mean a thing really can only be donated. Bit of a "bait and switch". They claim they will pick up your furniture and either split consignment proceeds or donate to charity. Based on single photos, they determined none of my furniture (including a mint condition $2,000+ Lily & Serena armoire) was sellable and quoted me well over a thousand dollars to move it. I honestly can't recommend Remoov and especially Alex and his team highly enough. From the first call to the moment they pulled away, everything was smooth, professional, and genuinely pleasant. The crew was courteous, careful with everything. They wrapped furniture properly, navigated tight corners without a single scratch on the walls, and left both the old place and the new one spotless. What really stood out was how kind and patient they were the whole time. Moving is usually pure stress, but these guys made it almost enjoyable.
