She declined and requested just a regular cleaning, but was told they could not do that since it would be a disservice to her. My wife is overly protective of her teeth, so it was shocking that they said she would need that, but even more shocking they would not perform a regular cleaning as requested. As consumers we need to watch out for each other and not allow companies to take advantage of us. Hopefully someone reads this and doesn't allow this business to take their money for something they do not need. We will request a copy of x-rays, periodontal chart, and a written plan explaining why a standard cleaning was not appropriate. We will get a second opinion and if they do not align, we will report this to the dental board for being unethical.

As a new patient, Kenya started by taking my dental X-rays, then Dr. Dar completed a thorough exam. Afterward, Kenya polished and flossed my teeth before Dr. Dar performed an excellent ultrasonic cleaning, finishing with some light manual scaling. The cleaning was genuinely one of the best I've ever had. It was thorough, comfortable, and exactly what I expect from a professional dental cleaning. My teeth had actually been properly cleaned. I also appreciated the small touches at the end, including being sent home with a toothbrush, toothpaste, and floss. There were no surprise charges, I wasn't pressured into any cosmetic or major out-of-pocket services, and the entire office made a very positive first impression. Worst dentures ever! I had to give one star but I used the real numbers below…read more The good: the staff is nice and friendly. The bad: just about everything else. Time Spent: Minus 10. I went into Edge Dental for my 4th pair of dentures. So I know the process. What I got was 4 months of trying to make the worst fitting dentures I've ever had actually be usable. I even thought they might have given me someone else's! After numerous trips into the office with still no progress, they finally made an appt for one of their technicians to meet with me. It took him seconds to see what the problem was. The teeth had been set in a thick layer so that they were literally too large for me. The tech fixed them, but I had the whole fitting process to do again.. Unlike every other fitting I've ever had, this place didn't use the white stuff to show where trouble spots were. I finally gave up making a long drive in. I used my nail buffer to carefully fix the set bit by bit. Over 4 months and finally had to fix them myself. Quality: minus 8. I have always had very well-made dentures. I replaced them to get better alignments and not because they broke. These are made from sub-standard materials compared to all my previous sets. There is minor marveling near where the teeth and gum section meet. I'm expecting full cracks at any time now. Not even 18 months has gone by. Appearance: Minus 7. I mentioned that the teeth themselves seemed overly large for my mouth. they looked more like men's teeth. My concerns were brushed away. Even when I showed the difference with my old set. No one felt it was worth their time to ensure my teeth looked good. Overall: this set has to last me a few years yet. I'm not at all sure they will. They are not worth the money I had to spend. If you need dentures and want a good look with good durability, skip this place.

I searched "dentist" in the group, read through a ton of recommendations, and chose Elegant Smiles because the dentist's wife had commented on several posts offering to help. I messaged her directly, and she got my husband in to see her husband that same day! My husband was in so much pain that they had to numb him multiple times before they could extract the tooth. He came home swollen all the way up to his eye because the infection had spread down to the roots. My husband absolutely HATES going to the dentist, but he didn't have a single negative thing to say about his experience. The front office staff was also incredible. Since we don't have physical insurance cards, they had to call and get all of our information, and they handled everything without giving us any hassle. I will admit, when you look at their website it can seem a little intimidating and very high-end. Their office is beautiful, and they absolutely offer high-end cosmetic services. But don't let that scare you away if you're simply looking for an emergency tooth extraction or general dental care. They offer a wide variety of services for all kinds of dental needs.
