I think they may have had a change in staff because I'm having a totally different experience with staff than previous reviewers. My Dr. was Smyth-Medina . He was friendly , thoroughly examined both eyes & explained to me wha was happening and gave me a great prognosis.. See me next year! My first Technician was Veronica , she is a very intent listener, she was patient with me and did a terrific job of prepping /intake for the second part of my exam , dilation . The dilation tech was Lilliana and she was sweet too. They tell you what to expect along the way, how many minutes between technicians & seeing the doctor , which i like very much . Few doctors offices are as accommodating or even care to tell you how long the wait is. I'm used to a shoulder shrug . Not here! So as you can see (no pun intended) it really depends on who you get & perhaps even how you treat the staff. These people are here to care of us, if you do your part , show up for appointments & with a good attitude you might just get the same back. I was hesitant due to the previous reviews but i'm making it my own experience and it was a great experience. Just know each step takes several minutes in the process so be patient. I feel as if I'm getting quality care here . I do not feel rushed. I've been here for one hour since my appointment started and overall it took approximately 1.5 from start to finish. Took a closer look and the frame was broken. I called Valley Optometry for some type of resolve and was just told "sorry...nothing we can do since you didn't buy the frame here!" This was a $336 lesson to never do business there again! Oh and I forgot to mention when I took the frame in, I was told "Oh the company we use is very fast. We're getting glasses back in about 4 days. It took 3 weeks to get those broken glasses. I also learned when I took the glasses to two different opticians that the reason the frame broke was because the lenses were cut too big and caused the frame to crack. Also learned that they used poor quality thick plastic. Please use my experience as a cautionary tale. The worse part was the poor customer service. I feel like I was robbed!!
