I wanted to take a minute to share about a great experience I recently had here in Southern California. I needed to take my brand new 2020 Tesla to an automotive body shop and I was extremely concerned. As a technology expert for many years, I knew I could not just take it to any place to save a few dollars. After consulting a few friends, I just decided to bite the bullet and take it to the dealership. However, Tesla gave me a referral for Renew Collision Center which turned out to be very close and convenient to the Burbank dealership. I was really nervous when I initially brought my car in. I really don't know much about automobiles beyond driving them and I did not want to be taken advantage of. However once I met David and his brothers, my fears vanished. They were super nice, knowledgable guys who assured me that they would get my car taken care of properly and on time. I had come first thing in the morning so that I could get my daughter to school on time and unfortunately there were no ride sharing options in the area at that hour. So we prepared to walk the short distance home when David insisted on giving us a lift. This made a strong impression on us. I immediately started getting automatic text messages from the Renew team through out the week, keeping me posted on their progress. Finally I received a text that my car was ready. They did a perfect job and I had absolutely no issues which is why the next time I needed a Tesla repair I called them directly. The second time around was even better, they had a complementary loaner available for clients who are not going through their insurance company so I was lucky enough to receive it for a few days. That Monday, they told me that I would have my car back before the weekend and I felt optimistic but a little skeptical. Again they exceeded my expectations and after continuing to update me through out the week via text message. They told me I could have my car at 3:00pm on Friday. I was thrilled. Again the car was restored to perfect condition, washed and detailed, and the team was as professional and friendly as ever. There new location in Burbank almost turned the car over to me with paint imperfections and yesterday I realized that the blindside sensor no longer alerts me of a approaching car !!! I'm very disappointed, first thing I asked before I left it, can you make sure sensors and computer alerts are working perfect!!! After body repair!! They failed and took over a month for a simple back left side bumper ding. They don't know how to Calibrate sensors. And will just turn off the alerts on you car. read more

I brought my Model 3 here through Tesla's Insurance. I dropped off the car and told them to take their time since there it was only a week out until Thanksgiving. I really wasn't expecting them to fix up the car before the holiday since they would have to wait for a few days for the required parts to arrive. Despite that, they were able to exceed my expectations. Not only were they speedy, they did an excellent job with the repairs. These guys are friendly, honest, hard-working professionals who kept me updated throughout the process. I did need to grab a couple of things from my car after dropping it off, and they let me in the shop without a problem during these covid times. Lastly, there is an Enterprise a couple of miles away (~7min drive). The Enterprise there was happy to come pick me up from the shop as well. All in all, a very solid experience and stress-free process. Bonus: One of them was happy enough to give me a recommendation for a local Armenian restaurant (Adana Restaurant) to check out as well! read more

Renew is listed as an authorized Nissan repair shop, and with a solid 5-star rating at the time I thought I would bring them my GTR to look at an issue. A previous car owner had resprayed a tiny section of the fender and used a cheap clear coat on the fender and hood to blend, which over time was becoming very hazy and yellowing slightly. Norik and his team recommended color sanding the clear coat to see how much of a correction that would provide first, which ultimately proved more than adequate and the results are great. Honestly the clarity is now slightly better than the factory paint. They also touched up a rock chip while at it, and even clayed and waxed the whole car for me as a bonus. Unfortunately, my Tesla was rear-ended near East LA on my way to San Diego. I was not familiar with any auto collision repair shops in the area, so I looked on Yelp. Even though the accident Happened on a Saturday, a super friendly and helpful receptionist answered and quickly arranged for a tow truck. When we arrived at Renew, we were greeted by David, who was very helpful. Given that it was a Saturday, most rental car locations were closed. So, David offered to drive us to the Burbank airport, where he had reserved a rental car for us. Talk about SERVICE!!!!! I sent David some pictures and he was able to get me a quote the same afternoon. Drop-off was very efficient and they even had a loaner ready for me. While my car was in the shop I got updates via text on the status of my car. Best of all, they finished an entire day early. When I picked up the car, it was cleaned inside and out. Norik and the team at Renew Collision Center were great! The front of my Tesla was damaged from getting hit and Norik did a very thorough assessment of the damages. He was upfront that it would take time for the parts to be ordered so my expectations were set from the beginning. There was more damage found once they removed the bumper and had to order another part but I was not surprised by this since Norik communicated this to me from the beginning. It took some time to get my car back but that was due to the parts being ordered and the insurance signing off. In the end, it was worth it because my car came back better than new! It was perfect and clean. All the wait was worth it and Norik went above and beyond to deliver the car to me and he even took care of returning the rental car for me.
