Almost forgot to take a picture ! We got a small white pizza, and when I say it was AMAZING, I truly mean that. The pizza was made to absolute perfection, and on top of that, the customer service was A1! I called before arriving, and the young man who answered had such great customer service that I didn't second-guess whether I wanted to eat there. From the phone call to actually arriving, the experience was great. The atmosphere was also really nice, chill, and welcoming. Next time we come back, we're definitely going to sit down and eat. I want to try the Sicilian-style pizza and maybe add a few more toppings. But for this to be a simple cheese pizza, it was easily one of the BEST pizzas I've ever had in my life--and I make pizza from scratch myself, so that's saying something! 5 stars across the board . 10/10, nothing less! Pizza was great! Food is good. Really good. The only downside was the cashier said the extra toppings were $0.50 a piece and they were $1.95 a piece! We got a black olive and mushroom extra cheese pizza. There wasn't extra cheese on the pizza and the toppings were scarce. The ambience is super casual. They have 3 TVs. We've heard so many debated on the best pizza in town and decided to try out this place. We ordered the Margherita pizza and while maybe not the best in town, it was pretty decent! We got 2 orders of the garlic knots as well but unfortunately the Uber Eats driver stated he only got one order from the restaurant which was disappointing as we didn't have enough for everyone to try. Their pizza is tasty. I recommend the Brooklyn deluxe w/o green peppers that over take the rest of the pizza. The equivalent calzone is a good choice. I do like their basic cheese calzone. It is nicely done. The cheese is hot and bubbly and the outside is crisp. read more

Brew + pizza = the best Friday night! After enjoying a few brews in the area we stopped in for a pepperoni pie at Renna's and I'm so glad we did! We walked in and ordered right away. Our delicious looking pie was at our table within minutes. Not only did it look amazing, it tasted amazing too! Not too greasy, lots of tasty cheese, plenty of pepperoni slices and yummy Italian seasoning. The crust was very thin and perfectly crispy with just a bit of that classic NY style chew. It was one of the best NY style pies we've had in the Jacksonville area and can definitely be in the conversation for the best. It was just as good reheated in the oven the next day. I've been to Renna's Pizza several times and it's always really good. The pizza is fresh, cheesy, and full of flavor, and you can tell they use quality ingredients. The crust is just right not too thick or too thin and everything always comes out hot. The staff is friendly and the service is quick, even when they're busy. Food 3.5 Service 4.5 First things first, quick order, super pleasant- great customer service. Food: Ordered a large pepperoni pizza, a medium half meatball/half mushroom, and an eggplant meal with salad and bread. Pizzas- good, not great on flavor- lacked a bit , although the crust was great- thin, a crispness to it. Also worth mentioning that the mushrooms are canned (I know people debate this). Pepperoni wasn't super greasy like many places which was a plus for the kids. Picture makes it look more greasy which is deceiving. Side salad- onions, tomatoes chunks, croutons, iceberg lettuce- fresh. Ranch dressing was really good. What really disappointed us was two things: Garlic bread- more charred and no garlic taste. Possibly oil instead of butter(?) and the eggplant- not breaded which is a plus for me, but pretty mushy and lacked any seasoning or even the full flavor- may have been cooked out. Will try again based on service alone, may just steer clear of the eggplant. read more

Renna's Pizza is a cool place to head for pizza if you are in the Neptune Beach, Florida area and craving pizza and other Italian favorites. I grew up in New Jersey and pretty much took it for granted that great pizza was pretty much available on every corner. When I moved to Florida, imagine my shock and sadness when I discovered that great pizza or even good pizza was not available on almost every corner. In fact, great pizza might not be found in some cities or towns. So, when you find great pizza, it is time for a celebration and what better way to celebrate than with a slice of pizza in hand? The pizza here is good and it also has a good price point. The atmosphere, while not fancy, is bright and welcoming. Thr staff was friendly enough and only enhanced my experience. The reviews seemed ok - so maybe a one off (benefit of the doubt). We arrived and placed our ordered. Meatballs, Greek salad and small pep pizza. Place was clean and looked inviting. Atmosphere was good. The meatballs and salad were out within 10 minutes. My opinion, that's a long time for microwaved frozen meatballs that were supposed to be handmade. I'm guess the hands open the bag. The salad was of good size and overall good. Now, on to the main event, the small pep pizza. I went back to the counter and asked about it - their look said it all "it will be a few minutes" aka THEY FORGOT. As I watched other customers arrive, order, get their pizza, eat and leave - I still did not have mine. So I went and asked again (over 40 minutes now) and I was told "it will be 7 minutes". I said to just box it. Overall, I saw nine table come and go. Better service would have been - sorry, we forgot to put it in or we can take it off the ticket. This pizza place is one of mine and my boyfriends favorite pick up joints. Their pizza is SO delicious we get two large cheese. You don't even need to add toppings but when you do- like banana peppers and pepperonis- it is phenomenal. The red sauce is where the magic starts and their choice of mozzarella. Can't forget the ranch to dip your crust in I like to call it southern style ketchup. Theirs is delicious by the way. We have been going to Renna's habitually now for a couple of months on Fridays and they are amazing their Pizza is awesome good garlic Knotts (not the best but good). I would definitely recommend them over all the other pizza places beach side. Als I used to love amd they totally suck now. #alspizza is awful their service definitely managers suck their pizza is soggy and gross as well. And it saddens me as to what Al's has succumbed to. Vampires beware! The BEST white pizza on the beach. We've tried several and the other while delicious, didn't really come close! The amount of garlic and ricotta is perfect. We sometimes add spinach which is cooked down perfectly so the taste is to die for. Tommy the Pizzamaker is your guy. Otherwise other dishes here seem okay, the environment is hit or miss. The people who work there are usually welcoming and friendly, but there's one or two who aren't always the nicest---one just kind of grunts and asks what we want, rolls his eyes and moves on...but he's not always at the register though and the pizza makes up for it! There is still potential for 5 stars if this improves over time----we'll see. Never really packed so it's a nice spot to go watch the game if you like that kind of calm environment. Nice, covered outdoor seating despite the parking lot view but beware of mosquitoes. The garlic pizza oughta keep them away!! read more

I'll start by saying I hope this place does well, it's a good location with ample parking in the far NW corner of the Publix shopping plaza. The dining room is open and spacious with a modern decor, a small bar and some tv screens spread around. There is outdoor seating as well. I didn't have a chance to review the entire menu as we read that they sell slices so I went in to try them out. The pizza is kept out of view so you are buying sight unseen and unlike other pizza joints they only have cheese slices ready that they will put toppings on for you per request. Personally I prefer to see an upbeat shop that showcases the variety of pizzas. One it tempts the customer to try something new and two it lets you see what you are getting before hand. So I would say this is set up more for takeout service or people who will dine in and order a whole pie. As for the pizza, I wasn't a fan unfortunately. The crust was a bit crispy like a NY slice, but it tasted like re-heated one as apposed to a fresh slice. It was fairly small in size by comparison to a slice from Bongiorno's or Biggie's and the sauce & cheese lacked any real flavor. It seems that others have very favorably reviewed this place and again I hope they do well, but for a NY slice there are definitely better options in the beach area... read more
