Don't order from here. Management is disrespectful and the place is a joke. I work in customer service and never have been talked to like that in my life. I will never even go try this place now. There order was an accident and the manger threatened to double charge our account for the inconvenience and hang up on us. Location was not given properly. Had previously had a decent experience but far from it this time! When we went in to order, we found it strange and unsanitary that the only menu for customers was on top of the trash bins counter for the restaurant. We ordered a Margherita pizza and garlic knots and they were not very good. I'm unsure as to what cheese they used but it was definitely not fresh mozzarella like the recipe calls for. We order take out here often and their San Danielle pizza is the best pizza I've ever had, topped with arugula, prosciutto, 1/2 cherry tomatoes and shavings of Parmesan cheese- unreal! And my husband loves the Penne Vito's it's a pasta dish with mushrooms salami ground beef in a pink cream sauce, he raves about it! Tonight for my birthday, we decided to dine in, it's a cosy place, very clean with several booths and tables, they also do a major takeout business thats pretty much non stop. Tonight my husband had his favorite Penne Vito's, he loves it I ordered a new menu item Linguine with shrimp and clams OMG it was amazing!!! Perfectly cooked huge delicious shrimp and tiny sweet clams in an amazing fresh tomato garlic sauce with perfect al dente linguine, meals served with a fresh crisp salad and garlic bread, everything is delicious. But they have my absolute favorite salad anywhere it's their special salad and it's an antipasto with pickled vegetables and cheeses and it's amazing, so I can't go there without ordering it. Also a shout out to Jess for taking excellent care of us, she was very attentive to our needs and checked on us throughout the meal. There was a stuffed pizza that looked super yummy, the worker said it is not always made so I am trying to go back to try that. The pepperoni pizza was tasty and the perfect thickness. The best pizza around! I moved from New Jersey seven years ago and was on a mission to find decent pizza. After a year of searching, I found Vito's and hit the jackpot! Vito is from New York ( originally Sicily) and he's the real deal! This is a small family owned restaurant, nothing fancy but the food is amazing. You can even get pizza by the slice which is a rarity for this area. In December they celebrate Saint Lucy's Day by making "Arancini" but you should reserve your order in advance because they sell out quickly. The portions are great! I tried the white pizza and it was so good. I love going there for their slices.

Very very disappointed. We have been eating here for many years. Being raised in an Italian home this food is the closest to authentic. However we ordered stuff shells and eggplant Parmesan. The portions have dropped and we were missing a salad that comes with the meal also the garlic bread potion was smaller. The cheese in the shells was cool and not like it has been. When you move from New York you're always searching to find your pizza and Italian food that tastes close to home. Just by looking at the garlic knots I could tell it had to be very close, the second I tried that and the grandma pizza....i was transported back home and in heaven. Shoutout to a woman owned business!!! The people who worked there were extremely nice and efficient. After searching for through many pizza places near the beach, we stumbled across this own. It's about 20 minutes away from Neptune Beach, and pretty close to the highway. If you're looking for New York Style pizza, this isn't quite it. However, the pizza is delicious, thin, great crust, delicious cheese, and loaded with toppings! Definitely worth it to get the XL. The garlic knots were absolutely delicious. Marinara sauce was perfection. Knots were soft, chewy, and garlicky. I was a bit disappointed with the Caesar salad, I thought there would be shaved Parmesan cheese with it instead of powdered. read more

Really wanted to love this spot. FRIENDLY service Small family owned operation Great family atmosphere. Taking those items into consideration, there is a lot to love here. Really, feel free to take your kids, your grandmother and your neighbors and know that you would feel comfortable with the atmosphere. And there are restaurants to go to for atmosphere and there are some restaurants go to despite the atmosphere. Case in point, my wife loves a little ceviche restaurant that we would frequent (it is now closed). But before would would go in, she would ask me if I was carrying a weapon of some sort (club, knives, mace, joust lance, etc). I never got the feeling it was sketchy, but she loved the food so much, she would go despite the atmosphere. But I am getting off topic. Vito's pizza was not bad, it was just not as stellar as some other restaurants in the area like Divinci's or D and LP. I found it a bit gooey and I tend to like things more crisp. At the same time my broccoli in garlic sauce was just unsalted butter and garlic, so I am thinking someone left off the cheese or spices because it was very bland - sadly again it was not crisp. Okay, so you get the picture that I like things with a crunch. Not a bad choice at all and maybe I need to move through the menu a little bit.
