    Garlic knots - delish!
    Jill M.

Stopped here based off of yelp's review and could not believe how phenomenal it was! [[HIGHLIGHT]]Super cute inside, everyone was super friendly, they baked their own bread![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had chicken Parm, which was probably the best I've ever eaten, the pizza was incredible, garlic knots fantastic, highly highly highly recommend!

The thing is if you don't know what real pizza is you don't understand what the real deal is ... chewy crisp dough that has not been rushed to proof, proper topping amount, excellent sauce... I go here every Friday- the family is lovely, friendly as can be and rolls out the best pizza anywhere around here by far. Don't sleep on the canolis either there are ridiculous. Thank you Vitos for perfect predictably in a world where Noone seems to d po anything with love and passion.

This is the color of the back of pizza I prefer.

Pizza is excellent. You have several specialty pizzas to choose from for the pizza by the slice purchase other than cheese. Service is friendly and family oriented. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Quaint restaurant with wall scenes of Sicily where the family returns to every summer.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Come try it out!

Penne Vito's (amazing pasta dish w/ ground beef mushrooms salami in a pink cream sauce)

Amazing food! Eating at this little neighborhood gem is like taking a trip to Sicily. It is authentic southern Italian cuisine at its finest! We order take out here often and their San Danielle pizza is the best pizza I've ever had, topped with arugula, prosciutto, 1/2 cherry tomatoes and shavings of Parmesan cheese- unreal! And my husband loves the Penne Vito's it's a pasta dish with mushrooms salami ground beef in a pink cream sauce, he raves about it! Tonight for my birthday, we decided to dine in, it's a cosy place, very clean with several booths and tables, they also do a major takeout business thats pretty much non stop. Tonight my husband had his favorite Penne Vito's, he loves it I ordered a new menu item Linguine with shrimp and clams OMG it was amazing!!! Perfectly cooked huge delicious shrimp and tiny sweet clams in an amazing fresh tomato garlic sauce with perfect al dente linguine, meals served with a fresh crisp salad and garlic bread, everything is delicious. But they have my absolute favorite salad anywhere it's their special salad and it's an antipasto with pickled vegetables and cheeses and it's amazing, so I can't go there without ordering it. Also a shout out to Jess for taking excellent care of us, she was very attentive to our needs and checked on us throughout the meal. I highly recommend this fantastic family owned authentic Italian restaurant.

Finally gave this place a try and it was tasty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They had some indoor seating and they sell pieces of pizza by the slice.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was a stuffed pizza that looked super yummy, the worker said it is not always made so I am trying to go back to try that. The pepperoni pizza was tasty and the perfect thickness. I will be back!

Not only am I quite picky, I'm also Italian, and Catullo's absolutely gets it right. No corners are cut here as everything is made with quality and care. I HIGHLY recommend the lemon mascarpone cake. It is absolutely insanely delicious and reminds me of being back on the Amalfi coast. The meatball appetizer is also something truly special. Last time I went I had the scallop lemon pasta and it was perfect. Everything I've had is so good at Catullo's that merely writing this review is making me hungry! The restaurant is always busy, so show up early, but they treat every party with a personal experience. It's a small spot in a strip mall, and the inside has a fun sort of New York Italian American theme.

We started with the arincini and it was amazing! The goat cheese made it spectacular and the marinara is really amazing. I have always wanted to try the pear fiocchi because everyone raves about it and it is their best seller. But...I was not impressed. The servers seemed to know it needed help. Our server offered me crushed pepper and another server stopped by and offered chili oil and peppers. I got the sense they knew I didn't like it and it needed some flavor. But it was too sweet. Even though it is pear pasta, I assumed the added cheeses and sauce would balance out the flavor but it was way too sweet. Luckily they took it off the ticket and I was able to share lasagne with my husband and that was amazing. Just beware that if you order multiple things, make sure you get different sauces because if jt has red sauce, it will all taste the same. Vary up your flavors. Also we got the chocolate cake and my kids left half the cake on the table. They never leave cake behind. I will also add that my daughter got the child size Sunday Suppa with pink sauce and a meatball and she LOVED it. I am glad we went and explored the menu, but I am literally sad the pear pasta was not as amazing as I had hoped it would be!

Celenos Bistro https://celenosbistro.com/…read more Celeno's Bistro has the best tasting Italian Food I have ever tasted. I especially like that they have both a lunch buffet and dinner buffet, so I can sample several of there delicious menu items in one visit. They have added a salad bar to the buffet that has a variety of items and it is extremely fresh. The hot items usually include spaghetti, meatballs, sausage and peppers, chicken alfredo, roasted chicken, lasagna, garlic knots and sometimes chicken marsala and other specialties. The buffet also includes a slice of pepperoni or cheese pizza. I especially think the homemade meatballs and sausage are excellently prepared (very tasty) and the tomato sauces used with the meatballs and sausage/peppers are the best I've tasted. The atmosphere is pleasant and charming and the service is friendly and efficient. They have an extensive menu of ala carte items that I have seen served to other guests and everything looks and smells delicious. The customers always comment how good their selections are and how generous the portions are. The prices are also very reasonable. I would highly recommend that people do themselves a favor and check out this little taste of heaven, both the buffet and the regular menu. I have been going there for about one year and plan to go there often.

Having said that what an awesome way to end my birthday with this amazing dinner that I had at this place. One of the best Italian restaurants in Jacksonville I must say. As soon as me and my wife walked in to the restaurant we were greeted and sat right away. The ambiance of this restaurant is truly amazing and very Italian vibe. We were greeted by our server MORGAN who was fantastic from beginning to the end. She suggested some incredible stuff that as a vegetarian I tried and was just amazing. For drinks we had mojito and pinacolada which was nice and refreshing. For appetiser we were recommended with Pomodoro Caprese which was amazing especially their Pesto sauce. For my entree she suggested me Luingini Josephine which was unique and nice pasta. Morgan surprised me with a dessert which was very kind of her. Overall this family owned small business is an amazing must try Italian restaurant. I can't wait to back and try more stuff. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Initially, we were going to Coopers Hawk, but forgot we had to make a reservation a year prior. We were told a 2 hour wait! That is wild given how big the place is. But again it is a Saturday night, and people were smarter than us and made reservations, and thus we left. After giving the news to ogre she full on had a rage attack in the parking lot screaming for those classic Coopers Hawk egg rolls. While we were consoling her I heard a soothing sound coming from behind the restaurant and we landed in front of Enzo's. We were greeted by the kindest owner ever who thankfully along with the help of her staff got us in with no wait, given how packed it was.. We were greeted by a very nice waiter who seemed all over the place though. I think he was definitely new, and was forgetful at times.. Anyways! We got three apps which were all fried stuff. Fried ravioli, Fried mozzarella sticks, Fried calamari. Honestly looking back kind of gross.. but they were solid tasting! Nothing out of the park at all on the apps just your standard.. a little tasteless on the calamari, but then again I had like 3-4 pieces because the ogre consumed them.. but then I got clarification from my good buddy bezos that it was kind of tasteless. The most tastiest was the fried mozzarella! Which shouldn't happen. Onto the entrees! Actually wait side reference note I initially ordered mussels with linguini. It was the worst dish of seafood and pasta I have ever had. I literally NEVER send stuff back, like literally never.. it feels inconsiderate and I feel like a bother even if it is just a little edible I would eat it with no complaints but I literally could not. It was so fishy I am now writing this nauseous. Some of the mussels were also closed, cold or broken.. it was just very very poor and I'm mad I had three mussels. The first one was crazy fishy, but I gave it another shot and then another, because I believe in second and third chances. But no, I was grossed out. Not to mention consuming all the fried prior. I also ordered a soup that was forgotten, and didn't get my cocktail sauce, but not really an issue if the dish was made to torture people with. Eventually I did get my soup and it wasn't bad! But now onto the entrees! Bezos: Chicken francese Tragic: veal parm Ogre: Chicken parm Doctor B Wife: Chicken Caprese Me: after the swap I got Veal Parm (thanks tragic) Oh and we had some garlic bread, but it needed some sauce or added flavor with it idk.. Reviews! Ogre: The chicken was good Wife: Mid Bezos: *yawn* ummmm Tragic: Italian stallion Me: the veal was solid, but that dish was so bad before that I lost all my appetite and I am just bleh.. and our waiter seemed a little lost.. again nice guy but come on. All in all we are grateful we were taken in by Enzo's and that owner seemed like she was a hardworking person that definitely can inspire her staff. I loved the piano playing, and the environment was really pleasant. Although me personally I disagree with the food, that dish was the worst ever, and our waiter again although nice was extremely forgetful. I feel sick to my stomach and I probably am going to vomit. But thank you again you gave us a good night and a place to eat..

The restaurant is beautifully set up and a great vibe. We had Caylee as our server and she was so friendly and bubbly! We started off with some drinks and they were all delicious and had a fresh taste. For appetizers, we ordered family style and got the carpaccio, sourdough focaccia, and the 'nduja arancini with a goat cheese crema. The carpaccio and arancini were my favs but all were perfection! We also did some family style for the mains and got caesar salad, rigatoni bolognese, chicken 'nduja, and carrots with whipped ricotta. The rigatoni bolognese was sooo yummy! We saw the bartenders experimenting with drinks and asked which one it was that looked so good - I believe they called it a burrata cocktail or something but it was actually so good! They brought it out to us to try even though it's not on the menu yet, which was so kind. For desserts, we got the olive oil cake and tiramisu. Tiramisu is my all-time favorite dessert so I thought I was going to like that one better but I actually loved the olive oil cake so much. It was my first time having an olive oil cake but both of the desserts were heavenly. We also got to try some of their homemade chocolate that they brought out to us and those were all delicious as well with different flavors.
