Due to my introduction to Indian pizza, I no longer want regular pizza! Nothing fancy, just a nice little pizza place, when I was there, just a 1 woman show. I was greeted as soon as I walked in. You can sit where ever you like. I already knew what I wanted, but I still looked over the menu. I got the Paneer masala pizza 10 inch. The crust isn't thin, but it's not thick. If this is all you order, it's enough for 1 person. If you order a side, prepare to take leftovers home. The Pizza was really good, nice Indian flare. it's so nice to have something different. I had high hopes for Pizza Point because I love Indian cuisine & pizza. Sadly, my visit was such a let down that I will not return. I arrived just a few minutes before their 4p opening time so I was the first customer for the day once they opened. I only wanted one slice & correctly assumed that they do not offer their specialty Indian pizzas by the slice. I was surprised by the fact that they did not have any pizza ready at opening so I was told it would be a 15m wait for a meat lovers slice. I decided to wait since I planned to dine in & unfortunately, it took over 25m for the slice to be ready. The fact that the slice wasn't good just added insult to injury. The dough was incredibly bland, all of the meat seemed to be low quality, and the crust was soggy. I ordered 2 slices of the deluxe pizza for pickup. I was greeted when I walked in and both staff members were super nice. When grabbing my order, I was asked if I wanted any grated parmigiana or crushed red pepper. I always forget to ask for red pepper when I get pizza to-go so I was so happy they asked. Not only was it super flavorful, but it made the pizza so saucy and not dry. But it also didn't make for a soggy crust. The chicken tikka masala pizza is a pretty classic flavor. Also super delicious, but was kind of in the shadow of the beef curry sauce. Only complaint is that their drink menu is kind of outdated. We tried to order some michelobs but they didn't have any. They service is so great & friendly. I was told a new pie would be made just so I had fresh slices, and I waited inside as they did just that! (they have clean booth seating throughout the establishment if you wish to eat inside) Pizza is priced very reasonable for the size you get, and they have great specialty options. However, I ordered the buffalo chicken wrap for lunch on a Friday and was disappointed by the meal I received. The description notes crispy chicken strips, cheese, lettuce, and red onion but the wrap I received had grilled chicken and lettuce with no cheese or onion (I hadn't asked for any substitutions or omissions). It was falling apart, difficult to eat, and did not come as advertised. The fries were soggy and cold, I'm sure they were frozen along with the chicken. My colleague ordered a personal veggie pizza and enjoyed it. As their name suggests, I would stick to their pizza. We also shared an order of garlic knots and were pleased. My pizza was cooked and ready pretty quickly and ready for pickup right when I arrived. Staff were fairly friendly during the checkout process. We stopped here on a whim because we had an errand to run in the same plaza and we were hungry for a late lunch. We hoped to just grab slices but they only had full pizzas so we sat and placed an order. There's your typical pizza shop stuff (husband ordered a buffalo chicken pizza) but then I noticed a special menu with Indian flavorings on pizza- curry sauces and paneer and cilantro, etc.. That piqued my interest so I tried one. It was really good! I'd go back to try another one in the future. The crust was a bit bland but the unique Indian flavors and toppings made up for it. The small sized pizzas were enough for two servings for us - six small slices. The thing that I found not so great about the experience was the cleanliness of the place. It was pretty grungy - scuffs and splatters on the walls, greasy floor with grime built up in corners, dirty menus. It is a little spicy but not melt your face off. Just a little heat. The service was great and very attentive. We went right when they open and were the only customers. Thank you Jeni Jaquet for tirelessly promoting Pizza Point on Point Meadows next to Melting Pot. I had the biggest and most delicious slice of pepperoni sausage pizza in a long time. It was massive. What truly made this place special, other than my amazing slice, was the great service I received from Steve the fellow running the dining room and Mama-tha(sp) the owner who came and sat with me while enjoying my lunch. I also ordered a delicious tossed salad and Fried Ravioli. It was the perfect lunch but I sat full of envy at all the delicious looking full pies that Melanie was preparing and boxing up. I had to return to work so I'm planning to return to go full pie next time. Please give Pizza Point a try and then tell all your friends. If you like supporting mom and pop joints then here's your chance to put your hard earned dollar to use. My wife and I always get a slice of pizza from the restaurant, whenever we visit the fish store next door. Pizza Joint is located in the plaza right across the street from IKEA. As already stated, we normally get a slice of pizza which is $2.50 each. However, we decided to get the whole piece this go round. We got their medium cheese pizza with an extra topping of beef on half of it. Their medium pizza starts at 13.50 and each additional topping is $2.60. Was so excited to try this place after hearing great things. It's conveniently located on Gate parkway across from IKEA, in the strip mall. Parking is hit or miss . We arrived at 6:30pm. Plenty of time for the pizza to cook and us to eat a few slices before my MRI in the same strip mall. We sat outside and ordered within 5 minutes. There were only two or three other tables inside and a few already had their food. By 7:15( my appointment was at 7:30), my husband went inside to pay and get our pizza to go. The cooks had completely forgotten about our order. Looking dumbfounded at each other..... The girl had already charged our account and said it'll be several days before we see our refund! What a shame! Absolutely no apologies for the mistake, we're still out $ 32, and still hungry and now upset with the way it was handled. Having worked in Customer Service, this was not acceptable. We stopped by here at 6:30p knowing we had an appointment at Precision Imaging in the same shopping center at 7:30p, literally less than a minute away. I knew an hour was a tight fit, but pizza cooks quick so I thought we'd get our pizza by about 6:50p, maybe 7p, and still have a few minutes to eat a slice or two, get the rest to go and make it to our appointment at 7:30p By 7:20p, I was concerned that we didn't get our pizza yet. I saw some pick up orders coming and going, so I thought that maybe they got busy with those. So I went to the counter and asked to just go ahead and pack the pizza to-go and we'll be on our way. I figured it must be close to being cooked. Come to find out our order was completely forgotten about and wasn't even started yet. I cancelled the order and left.
