My ride or die
Todd K.

Just picked up my 2025 Pan America Special from Reno Harley-Davidson, and the whole experience was flawless. Dani was my Fit Specialist, and let me tell you--she knows Pan Ams inside and out. She made the process easy, got me set up for the new rider course, and even had my bike shipped down from Oregon and kept safe until I was ready to throw a leg over it. That's serious customer care. Now that I'm on it--this machine is a beast. The Pan Am chews up miles like nothing and feels built for anything you throw at it. Couldn't be happier. If you're looking for a new/used Harley--especially a Pan America--swing by Reno Harley-Davidson and talk to Dani. She knows Harley's and She'll get you dialed in and on the road in no time. Dani, thank you for everything, can't wait to bring Jen back to get hers. Ride safe!

Let me start with my situation, I am 6 months out of a Chapter 7. So my credit is tanked & history is tarnished. I had been searching for a secured loan to get my credit started again. Two places in town ran my credit & didn't bother calling me back, I'll put that in both their names are "powersports" and if they would have been more professional & let me know I was declined when they knew & didn't have me reaching out to ask I wouldn't be so salty. More to say but I'll leave it at that. I had no reason to believe Harley would approve me for even 1$. But in my situation, it wasn't gonna hurt to try. From the start the 3 individuals that helped me out, unfortunately I don't recall all their names but James who helped me fill out the application & look at bikes in my budget was super helpful & straight forward. After finding a bike I wanted we started the application process. They got me approved while I was still sitting there. I was shocked that I got an approval. Note my situation definitely came with a high APR but that was expected because of my history. I knew this & didn't care, I can refinance in a year and be better off for doing all of this. I appreciate the transparency & effort on their part to make it work for me. They definitely earned a return customer & for all I know ending of this year I could come back & upgrade! I appreciate all of you that helped me, Thank you !

Unfortunately, my wife decided to trade her BMW R18 for an HD Pan America S. I was initially not thrilled about this decision. However, after interacting with the Harley Davidson Reno team (in particular Matthew and Austin), I changed my views on HDs. My wife got the PAS, which she loves because of our riding in Northern Nevada. It's an excellent choice for her riding style. Happy wife, happy life :)

Okay I do not pass out five stars all willy-nilly but Harley-Davidson and the staff they have there definitely are five star. I had to go in there to do a another job at the time I walked in the door everybody was so nice so accommodating and it was just a fantastic experience. I had to take pictures of damage to a motorcycle which I had no clue like the technical names of anything and the guy in the back I believe his name was Robert maybe anyway he helped with the pictures and just I mean did it all great guy great experience and up front Travis and Big Mac are just hilarious friendly knowledgeable if you're in the mood to/to buy a Harley definitely go there first

Bent frame brace with fresh signs of the damage.

I brought my bike in for new tires and rear shocks installation. I was assured they were an official Ohlin's shock dealer and have experience with the shocks. Well the mechanic installed the shock with spacers that were only used up to 07 bikes mine is an 09. Those spacers push the shocks out so far that they hit the saddle bags causing a bad vibration and making very hard to put the lids on the bags, I was told my bike came in like that as the service advisor tried zip tying my Buds oil cooler back in place. DO NOT under any. circumstance go here for service they don't know what they are doing. I rode the bike home and read the three page pamphlet and it said in plain English the spacers are only used up till 07 so I removed the spacer and that took care of the vibration. when I dropped the bike off I told them there is an oil cooler between the frame rails and they still lifted the bike by the brace between the frame rails bending it and pushing the oil cooler into the bottom of the transmission, i had to fix my oil cooler myself. The pictures below are the repair they they performed to send me on my way. By the way this is the second time they damaged the oil cooler the first time they pinched an oil line and gave me the bike back leaking oil, they told me it was just residual from the oil change. The bikes oil light came on in Bridgeport, CA well over an hour away from the dealership . You've been warne.

No stars, this place doesn't have any t shirts. Don't waste your time coming here. Lots of useless merchandise that hardly anyone buys.

When do you have beginners Rider Training? None was listed on your website, not even in Carson City or any future dates.

You have to call the store to get the dates and go in to sign up because they need a copy of your drivers license and to fill out paperwork in person in order to sign up. I know this is a couple years late, but I hope this helps!

Brought forks in from 100 miles away 9 am ON June 2nd. Shop did not do the work that day. Agreed to pick up 4, then 5, then 8 days later. 8 days later came in and picked up "completed" forks. This is when I first talked to (met) Dave the owner of the shop. Evidently, I had previously been communicating and contracting with the head? mechanic. So Dave gave me the "finished" forks. When I went to pay for work. He said that he "really" needed payment in cash! Red flag! Had only $120.00 in cash so payed that and the $30.00 extra on credit card. Shop owner Dave was supposed to denote cash payment on back of receipt but didn't! Took the forms home to find that they weren't rebuilt (old cracked dust seals obviously showed themselves as unrebuilt forks (shop office was dark). Called shop back and informed Dave from my 100 miles away. He said to bring them back in to be rebuilt on same day. Returned forks but no can do. Come back on Tuesday to pick up. Monday night Dave calls and says not only that he cannot have forks ready the next day but that he will not be working on them anytime in the near future; that his shop was backed up. I had dealt with Dave and shop pleasantly up to this point. However Tuesday I went to the shop to get back my forks and to get a refund and told him if not I would call in the police for theft of property and money. Dave refused both. I called 911. Police arrived. Made him give back my parts, give me a filled out shop estimate form showing that he received payment from me. But Dave would not refund my money stating that he didn't have it . That he was trying to make his shop rental payment . stating that the shop policy was no refund of cash. Oh, that's why he wanted cash so much! I asked the police if they had seen a "no cash refund" notice in the office. They replied yes. I don't believe it was posted, or not posted well, back when I payed, but possibly was posted when he knew the police were enroute. I believe that the shop mechanic is a good man and honest but his boss Dave is both a crook and a conman. I filed a police report and have the option of taking him to small claims court but you can't squeeze water out of a turnip! I lose-don't you!

They kept the boat until March 2019 and upon picking it up, I found that they did not even look into my helm issues. When I asked him about that, the technician said they don't do that kind of work. They did find the source of the motors not starting, which was remedied with replacing the corroded fuel pumps and replacing a corroded wiring harness on the port engine. When I got home, I noticed that the CDI computer covers were both missing. I called the shop and asked him to locate them for me, but he immediately denied losing them. He had removed both of the CDIs because he was troubleshooting the electrical corrosion issue and had suspected that possibly one of the CDIs had failed. The areas where the covers were supposed to be mounted were very clean and free of grime, whereas everything around those areas was grimy. I had to purchase two covers and 8 stainless steel mounting bolts for a total of $164. After picking up the boat, I kept smelling raw fuel when I ran it and today I ran it with the cowls off of the motors. I immediately noticed fuel running out of the starboard motor from the vapor separator tank (VST), which houses the fuel pump . I shut the motor down and inspected the source of the leak. What I found was very disturbing; while changing the the fuel pump, the technician broke the top corner of the VST and attempted to conceal the damage with some sort of calking or sealant, which allowed fuel to leak past his sealant. I feel fortunate that there was not a fire or explosion from all of the fuel that was leaking into the casing. I'm not sure why the technician was not up front with me regarding the damage, because I do understand that 18 year old saltwater applications occasionally break during disassembly. I know that I would have ended up paying for the replacement part (as I have now), but why would someone send something out of the shop that is a hazard for explosion which would likely lead to serious injury and possible loss of the entire boat? That is a careless, irresponsible and unprofessional act! If you value your investment or your life, steer clear of Sierra Sport and Marine!!

Oh yea, they offered to fix the problems, but would anybody trust their sloppy mechanics to touch their engine after such big screw-ups. I wouldn't and glad I didn't. They made no effort to offer me even an apology after I told them it will cost me a 150 mile round trip and 4 hours of my time to bring my boat back to them to fix what they did wrong. In fact, they told me"it's not their fault I lived so far away". Not nice business people. Trust them at your own peril.
