This was the worst massage I've ever had. I enjoy receiving massages, specially deep tissue. I frequent the better spas in town but figured I'd give this one a try since I had just visited the new bagel place days before. Unfortunately, the masseuse lacked the skills to perform a massage. I received a massage through the blanket for 20 minutes with mostly her elbows and then when she finally took the blanket off my underwear was pull down from my glutes. She pinched my neck with her nails and I that's all I could handle. She charged me $50 for 30 minutes and asked where her tip was. I cannot recommend this place! read more

Horrible Massage experience. You get massaged through a sheet a lot of the massage. Then the woman I had kept leaving the room 5 to 6 to answer the phone. I'd be lying there for 2-5 minutes each time. At one point she was texting with one hand and massaging me with her other hand!!' . And then an employee came into my room and started arguing with my "masseuse" during my "massage" and this last about one minute! It was so unprofessional. read more

Needinga massage, I looked at Yelp reviews, and decided to go with massage tree. I was surprised to be able to book an appointment within 2 hours. I was greeted and led back to my room almost immediately. I went with the lymphatic drainage massage with attention to my sore neck and shoulders. I was assured that Henry (I think that's his name) is exceptional at this message. He really worked my muscles out, loosening up my entire backside. Which is a miracle. This last week has been much more enjoyable, since I'm moving better, and even sleeping better. Next time though I'm booking him for 2 hours. 1 hour just goes too fast. I signed up for a 90 min deep tissue. I had to stop the massage 49 min in because it was so horrible. They used a sheet the whole time, did not have any understanding of the musculature, kept oscillating between very firm pressure and extremely light and bounced from my feet to my neck to my legs and kept going back and forth with no method to the madness. Ultimately I had them stop the massage and left when he started to pull my hair during my scalp massage, I told him to stop and then he did it again. Would absolutely not recommend, I left in tears because it was such a terrible experience and I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time. read more

First, they called while we were on our way to ask us to come in 30 minutes later. She mentioned a discount. New appt was at 12....we got there at 11:50. They took us back at 12:08. I won't speak of my friend's massage, but her masseuse, Lili, left 4 times to handle something at the front desk. My masseuse, Henry, was not listening to me. I asked at least 4 times for him to lighten up the pressure.....I've had many, many deep tissue massages before, and never had to make this request. I literally woke up with bruises the next day. He kept the sheet on me for 2/3 of the massage.....weird. He left the room twice.....not sure why. There was no discount. My 90 minute massage was 80 minutes, minus the time he was out of the room. For the first time EVER, I left no tip. He threw a tantrum. Not going back. Edit: in response to their response, We were told we had options for pain relief - my friend got them, I did not. He did leave the room more than twice - my friend's left 4 times. II have never been to this facility before, nor have I used Henry in any other facility. read more

I've been going to see Lilly at Reno massage tree since they opened a couple of years ago. It is an absolute blessing to know her. Her knowledge and professionalism and kindness goes far beyond expectations. The facility is clean, smells nice and is very soothing. I drive down from incline village once a week for a massage. There appears to be several options in that part of town, but I'm pretty sure she's the only licensed massage therapist in the area. I really think that you'll be fortunate to have found Lilly and Reno massage tree, she is a wonderful, kind human being, and you will be a better person knowing her. read more

Was looking for a good deep tissue massage before my flight back home and booked a same day appointment. There as a mishap with the booking system and I was booked at the same as another guest. Lily called and asked if I could come in earlier, before they are technically open, to accommodate my scheduling needs. I was able to and it worked better for me. This 2 hour massage reminded me of the ones I receive in Vietnam! if you've never had a massage like this, you might be a little taken aback, but I promise it's worth it! Lots of stretching (be warned if you are in your undies) and the use of all limbs! I love a massage like this! you can add on tiger balm (a staple in asian households), gua sha, cupping, and/or hot stones. this is a no frills massage spot, which I like. This place is highly recommended by me, and I have had many reasonably priced massages. They have few different package I wish I couldto take advantage of all of them all. I suffered from tight muscles in my neck and shoulders. They focus on that , they used oil, hot stone and cupping. It was amazing and the knots on my neck and should are instantly gone. 60 minutes is not long enough. Their are a lot of massage place in Reno on every corner not display prices or look shadey. This one has an online site with the prices and they don't ask for tip up front, very professional and they asking if the pressure ok. Sure, you don't get all the pomp and frills you would at a fancy spa, but my experience here, especially relative to the price has been great. I got Lili the first time and have always asked for her again since. Rooms are clean and quiet, they have a white noise machine going the whole time and even though the rooms are small, it is a relaxing atmosphere. They will incorporate things like cupping, tiger balm, gently walking on your back, stretching, and hot stones for no extra charge if you ask. There are a variety of options including 30, 60, 70, and 90 Minutes and different types of massage. I recommend asking for Lili/Lilly, not sure of the spelling sorry! read more

My first time here and an interesting experience. Booked a 90 minute deep tissue (listed at $110 but was charged $115). Lily started my massage and she was awesome! 5/5 at least. Great pressure, knew the body well, responded to different knots as she found them. Great experience. But she seemed to have been double booked or something and had to leave after about 30 minutes and brought in a different masseuse. Coco finished out the rest of the massage. Not bad, not great. Solid 3/5. She was a bit erratic/ unpredictable in her movements which wasn't the worst thing but definitely wasn't relaxing. I plan to come back for another massage in the future to give this place another shot. read more

I had Henry as my massage therapist and he did fantastic. He had a firm pressure for my full body massage and he also did cupping on my back and hot stones on my back and legs. I got the one hour deep tissue massage and wow! I knew I had a lot of tension in my shoulders but after my massage, they felt amazing. The room was nice and clean with low lighting, very relaxing. Can't recommend enough!! I recently started going to the gym regularly and suffer from fibromyalgia and Reno Massage Tree was my SAVING GRACE I have been to multiple massage places in Reno in search of relief, including the Peppermill Spa..and my experience here was the most effective and therapeutic. I purchased a Groupon for 60 min shoulder and neck massage with Tiger Balm,cupping and essential oil. I got a full body massage by the same man that was sleeping when I walked in. He did not speak anything just gave me directions to follow him down the hallway that was not lit into a room with not light. Showed me the place to put my clothes and left. He came back never introduced himself, never asked what pressure I wanted, nothing. I am not trying to be inappropriate but I think there should be someone that I could communicate with when I go into a business and not find a man sleeping. read more
