As I headed towards Honey Bakery, I looked over and thought to walk into Indulge Massage since my shoulder has been bothering me to see if I could just walk in. I was greeted by Iris and she took me right in. I looked over their services and agreed to get a 60 minute massage. I felt desperate to feel relief in my shoulder. If you have ever had a frozen shoulder or a tight neck you understand my pain. Iris started off by asking me if there are any areas that she should focus on. I immediately told her my shoulder and forearms. She touched my shoulder and neck and told me how tight everything was and that she recommended cupping to help break up that area and increase blood flow. I agreed and told me that I would feel some discomfort. She got to work! Wow! For the first time in a long time I felt my shoulder open up and I was able to relax and fall asleep. Deep tissue was much needed and I just had a massage at the spa on Monday. I frequent the local spas, but this was the best massage I have ever had. Iris has magical hands and paid extra attention to where I needed it most . I will definitely be coming back to see her. They offer couples massages and I'll be back with the hubbs. The wife and I chose to do a 60 minute couples massage and it was one of the better I've hard. They ask before starting what presser you'd like from light, medium to hard. I requested hard and the massage therapist did not disappoint. They also included slight stretching which I enjoyed. Towards the end of the massage they utilize hot stones for your back and neck area. I can't vouch for all, but my massage therapist seemed to notice areas that needed extra attention which was appreciated. The only downside is my particular bed was rather squeaky, but that is an easy fix and didn't interfere with the overall quality of the massage. We would return. read more

Used a Groupon and had some initial hesitation, so I called the salon first. A guy answered the phone with just "HELLO," which felt a little off. Still, the address showed an actual building and the reviews were decent, so we decided to give it a chance. We booked a couples massage and went in. The business is located in a strip mall, and the reception area was empty and uninviting, with a noticeable smell of cooked food. They showed us the room and told us to disrobe and lie face down. 2 therapists came in and asked just one question: "Hard, medium, or light pressure?" That was it. No questions about injuries, medical history, areas of concern, or preferences. This was especially concerning because I've had back surgery, and that kind of information is important before bodywork. The massage itself was fine, and to be fair, the pressure she used on me was good. However, several aspects of the experience were uncomfortable and unprofessional. Draping was inadequate. My glutes were exposed for most of the massage until I said I was cold, at which point I was covered. This made the experience awkward and uncomfortable. The therapist working on my partner was wearing earbuds and listening to something, loud enough for everyone in the room to hear. This was extremely distracting and made it hard to focus on receiving proper care. While getting dressed afterward, my partner noticed a faint sewer-gas smell. He has extensive plumbing experience, so I trust his read, though I personally thought it might have been food being heated somewhere down the hall. Either way, neither smell belongs in a massage environment. Overall, the experience lacked professionalism, communication, and basic massage standards. I needed bodywork, and while some aspects of the massage were fine, the environment and practices made it awkward and uncomfortable. We got to the location and see the signs for couple massages or normally 140 with essential oil and hot stones. So not much of a difference. It was more like 50 minutes of as the ladies came in later and the entire time kept looking at the clock until the "60 min" was up. It sounded like their English wasn't the best they asked us "CBD oil okay?" And we said yea sure (thinking it's included since essential oil was stated part of the service) it was great being paid for prior. During check out the front desk tried to charge us additional 40 dollars for the cbd oil used. We just said well we wish we would have known it was extra all they did was ask if it was okay not if we wanted to add on. But whatever I just paid the $40 extra dollars. Then the nerve to ask for gratuity after the fact. I def declined sorry not sorry they basically tipped themselves by adding that charge. And my husband and I feel all fucked up now after leaving. It's been close to a year since I last attempted getting a massage and it was a bad and expensive experience (elsewhere) I've been under much stress and could really feel it in my body and this was a very much needed hour of pampering. I came in on a late Friday afternoon and I was greeted by the gentleman at the front desk. He guided me to my room. I had a short wait time as Linda, my masseuse started my massage. I instructed her to give me medium pressure and she complied. I chose the 90 minute full body table massage and Linda gave me a very satisfactory massage. My husband let them know normally he would tip, but considering I was exposed for others to see, he did not feel a tip was appropriate. My husband and I have been to Indulge twice. The first time was a nice experience. We both got massages we felt pretty happy with. However, the second time was an absolute NIGHTMARE. We arrive on time for our appointment and went into the room closest to the front entrance. Our massage therapists didn't come into the room for what must of been 10 min. After they entered they spoke to one another the entire time louder than the music. I am a Licensed Massage Therapist in CA and CO. I could never see a time where it's appropriate to speak to the other therapist in the room for an entire massage. I kept communicating to my therapist I have a bad arm that dislocates easily. My therapist continually attempted to move my arm in compromising positions and would focus heavily on my shoulder. I had to tell her at least 5 times to stop moving my arm. It felt strange she wouldn't respect what I needed as an injured client. I asked her to focus on my legs and feet and she just kept saying she would get to it. She probably spent 5 minutes on my legs and less on my feet. The worst part was the sheet draping. At one point during my back massage the therapist had the sheet pulled below my glutes exposing my privates. Im not a modest person so I didn't think it was a huge deal until she walked out of the room leaving the door open. Literally WTF! When we left we were in such shock of what an awful experience we just had. This place unfortunately is giving parlour vibes and not a place to get a massage from a licensed therapist. I had to ask my husband if they were inappropriate due to how violating my massage felt. Seems perfect until you start hearing the massuse talking smack in chinese, not knowing that ive picked up some from different jobs ive had. Regardless, my husband checked this place out on a mission to find one we like and I think we succeeded. The thing I like about reflexology places like this is that they ARE low key, not pretentious, and minimal in ambience. You're not paying for a spa atmosphere and a bunch of unnecessary decor but for the service itself. Don't be turned away by the somewhat cheesy window stickers/advertising. That's just the nature of these places. If you're looking for a relaxing massage or even a therapeutic massage in a spa like atmosphere, this place probably isn't for you. We did the combo treatment which was $55 for a 60min full body massage and foot reflexology. Basically 30 minute full body and 30 minute foot massage. Keep in mind, the full body portion predominately focuses on your back and neck which was ideal for me. I don't really need my arms massaged. The foot portion does include some work on the legs. The most amazing part to me was the hot oil and hot stone portion on the back. Holy smokes Batman... it was so relaxing and exactly what I needed. My husband and I were together and they had us in the same room. I would imagine they would do the same if you were there with a friend. They have a menu of alternate options ranging from a simple chair massage ($24 for 20min), to just foot reflexology, full body massages, and combo treatments. But for $55 you'll get an incredible rejuvenating 60 minutes of relaxation with the combo treatment and I can't recommend it enough. Walk ins are available. Appointments preferred. And they're open 9-9, 7 days a week so it's super easy to get in there. As far as reflexology massages go, this place is a win! Can't wait to get back... like every other week. read more

I purchased a Groupon for a combo massage including hot stone and foot reflexology. Linda was my masseuse a small Chinese lady. I was ushered in within a minute of arrival for my appointment. I thought I would have to fill out customary paperwork so arrived early. There wasn't any and all she asked was if I wanted soft, medium or hard pressure. I chose medium and she began. It hurt a bit but it hurt good . She checked several times if the pressure was good. She got all the kinks out and worked not just my muscles but followed the skeleton if that makes sense! She rubbed two oiled hot stones over my back and neck and omg it felt really good. She also did my legs and feet and if you like your feet touched like I do you will love this part! A nice touch that I've never had done was the use of a hot wet towel she used to rub me down wiping the oil off when she was done, maybe an Asian technique. I tipped her well and the only thing I marked down for was the personal interaction at the beginning to find out if there were any concerns or health issues.
