Prices were super reasonable for good quality steak cooked to order! Portions were appropriate and generous when it came to kids' meals. Our server was friendly, prompt, and took great care of us. The "tall" beer was 32 oz and only $6! The bad reviews on here seem to complain about the giant beer (no idea why) and some problem with the computer that I'm sure the restaurant would've fixed if given a chance. Great meal last night! The steak was cooked perfectly, and the baked potato was hot and fluffy! Just what I needed. My friends had nachos and a ribeye sandwich and they loved both. Here's the deal with Reno's from two perspectives. Do you live in town or nearby and want a blooming onion? Then yeah, come here if you're wanting to pull away from your Taco Bell budget for a change. They have huge cheap beers, and their ribs are pretty good. Are you driving by on the interstate looking for somewhere to eat besides the swarm of McDonalds? You're put in a more complicated spot. With Cracker Barrel being right across the road and boasting some of the greatest restaurant consistently on the market, you have to understand something: Reno's is a good place to eat. I love those blooming onions, or rosebuds -- whatever they call them; however, it does cost a tad more than the immediate competition. Think of the cost more like a, "I just got my check, and I want to go to Applebee's." But it's good. read more

Let me preface this review by saying if you're young and looking for a job, one you can hang out and play on your phone, then Renos in Morehead is the place to apply to. All jokes aside, Renos rates mediocre on the large scale... but if you're looking for a sit down dinner, close to home, with nice decor, I'd definitely hit them up. This isn't my first visit (my 3rd actually), and I'm also reflecting on those previous visits. This particular visit was on a Tuesday afternoon, so honestly my expectations were low.... but the staff still limboed on my half hopes of a decent meal. Our waitress, Dakota, was attentive and did her job diligently... but our eyes were still drawn to the circle of girls gathered around the cash registers, all looking at their phones and laughing. It was literally the first thing we noticed and it held our attention throughout the duration of our visit. It was a very unprofessional atmosphere. As masterful as the food may look in photographs... it was only so so. The potatoes were exceptionally sour, (I'm guessing they use sour cream folded in their mashed potatoes)... the other sides were acceptable but nothing to brag about. Would I go back? Yeah. But it's simply because my area has nothing else to offer. I spent over $40 plus tip and my microwave has put out meals just as good, for a fraction of the cost. If I'm having a lazy day I might consider calling in an order... otherwise I'd recommend any where else. read more

We went to Reno's for our anniversary dinner. I have nothing good to say about this restaurant other than the weather was nice that day. The food was plain and below par. Our server was nice but we Practically had to beg her for silverware, bread, refills, salt, ketchup and our bill. She was more interested in giving her Snapchat to the customer at the next table over. There aren't many options at this crossroads, and Reno's is one of the few non-fast food options. Seems to be incredibly popular with the locals. My husband and I thought it was just OK. The servers and staff were extremely nice, and our meals came quickly. If you want some calorie bombs, they serve yeasty dinner rolls soaked in honey butter (obesity on a plate). We both ordered some chicken breast over sauteed peppers and onions; the vegetables were soggy and overcooked. Fortunately, the chicken seemed fresh and was well prepared, though underseasoned. Was hoping for an Outback/Texas Roadhouse/Logan's Roadhouse type of experience. The service was fantastic. We had a large party and the waitress was very attentive. Unfortunately the food was just "OK". I paid $15 for filet medallions. They were good but not sure they were work $15. Husband got the ribeye and he was disappointed. Again with too much salt. The food here is normally good. Today was not that day. We were seated quickly and the restaurant wasn't very crowded for a Sunday . We got the Rosebud (deep fried onion) and asked for extra sauce upon receiving it. It was downhill from there. We waited forever to receive our sauce. Then the restaurant got busier, so we waited another hour to receive our food. The food was visually unappealing. The loaded fries looked like they had been in the window for 20 minutes. My stepdad's twin filets looked like dried up prunes. My medium steak was well done. My brother had ribs and they were hot and good. The rolls were hot. First time here. Both had the fish and chips. Good serving size. Fish was breaded with a good crisp breading. Coleslaw was fantastic and fries were good as well. Only complaint is that the wife had the lunch version and I had the dinner version of the plate. Mine had a bigger serving of coleslaw and that was the difference. We visited this restaurant last Tuesday (April 6, 2021) around 8:30 in the evening. The restaurant was not crowded and we were seated immediately. Our waitress was Elizabeth. She came and took our drink orders - was asked about a question about a brand of beer and didn't know (and didn't say she would find out), was asked for lemon for two at the table - brought 1/2 of a slice and when we asked for more lemon, she seemed peturbed, had to ask for plates for our rolls. She seemed to be distracted because she didn't seem to know answers to any question she was asked, nor was she interested in finding out answers. Once our orders were placed - all basic items with no special requests - it took an hour to receive our food. We then had to ask more than once for anything we needed (A-1, to-go box, refills). Just ate here and almost didn't because of the reviews. I am only leaving 4 stars because they were out of everything I wanted at 3:00 in the afternoon. I feel like this is a management problem. We were seated quickly and had a wonderful waitress that was very attentive. The food was excellent and it was priced right. Not too expensive but worth the money. I had a filet, baked potato, and salad. It was amazing! Very fresh salad, fluffy warm potato, and the filet melted in my mouth. My husband and son were very pleased as well. I'm a manager at Hardee's, therefore Reno's is a stones throw away. Sometimes on break I'll order food and walk over to pick it up. The Mac N' Cheese, rolls, and sweet potatoes are my favorite things to eat. For an easy price estimate: steak, two sides, and drink is about $14-16 dollars; nothing bad for the amount of food. read more
