When…read moremy Babylock need repair went there and the woman at the counter way so rude saying the didn't work on Babylocks. She could have been nice the say they were no longer a Babylock distributor. Because of her rudeness I have not stepped into this store again nor have I kept their playing card that you get for buying in their store. Left there and went over to Sierra Sewing where the people working there are courteous and helpful at all times. Sierra Sewing also offers some wonderful classes. If asked by anyone about where to find a great machine embroidery/quilting/material store I will recommend the store with great customer service.

I was a bit nervous because, while I've made lots of quilts over the years, I've never had someone else quilt them. It was hard to decide on the quilting design but with Michelle's help and expertise we decided on an appropriate design for the design of the quilt. Still, when she messaged me to say it was ready I was nervous to see it. I can't even begin to say how great it looks and it's EVERYTHING I could've hoped for! I can't wait to give Michelle another quilt to machine quilt for me! The only negative at all is it does take time for her to do this but it was totally worth the wait. I have been a customer for over a year; I purchased 3 sewing machines and attended classes for many…read moredifferent projects. Having said this, I experienced a tragic & sudden loss of a friend. Prior to her death, I signed up for a class and because of this sudden death, I was not able to attend. I called Sierra Sewing in Reno to see about a refund due to these unforeseen circumstances. After two attempts, I finally spoke with Jared and was told I would not receive a refund because their policy states the last day you are allowed to cancel, for a refund, is 7 days prior to class date/time.  My friend died suddenly and there is no way I could give them a 7 day advance notice-given the circumstances surrounding her tragic death. I have spent many thousands of dollars at Sierra Sewing and after being a loyal customer I am told I will not receive my refund because "that is the policy."  I will never shop at Sierra Sewing again. We never know what life will throw at us and instead of sympathy or sorry for my loss, I was told "sorry, you have to cancel 7 days before the class. That's our policy." Think twice before you give them your money. They lack empathy and are unable to understand life's unpredictable events and finally, they do not appreciate a loyal customer. When they show you who they are-believe them.
