We used Renovation Pros because they were a vendor who worked with our homeowners insurance. I figured that they have a working relationship with our insurance company, if there were any issues not initially found, the approval process would be quicker. Now I will say that the work done was satisfactory but the scheduling was not. We had a house fire and the repair/renovation 16 months. There were many weeks at a time where there was no activity at our house. We were staying in a rental house. The fire occurred at the end of September, 2023. Completion was scheduled for September 2024. we were notified that the September date would not be made and would have to be extended into October. We notified the landlord we would need to stay an extra month and was told "no problem" The same scenario happened in October. In November, we were informed that they would not be finished and would need to extend into December. The problem there was that they did not notify us soon enough so when we talked to the landlord, they already rented the house out to someone else. We ended up having to move into a hotel. When we asked to have our hotel expense reimbursed, our insurance company refused to. When we inquired as to why they will not reimburse us we were told that Renovation Pros said the delays were our fault. We are out several thousands of dollars of hotel expense and are still trying to recover that. That is very dishonest. We would not recommend this company at all. read more

Don't even consider anyone else for your renovation. The work was done in a timely manner and the quality was excellent. We had a slab leak that damaged all baseboards, flooring and drywall up to three feet high throughout our home. The entire house interior needed to be painted as well. We selected a herringbone pattern for our wide plank luxury vinyl. Andreas did an excellent job installing this flooring that required many cuts. read more

Renovation Pros did an outstanding job reconstructing my cabinets and replacing the floorings that were damaged by a faucet leak. Every one of the staff that put in the work were so kind and professional especially Pam, the representative that was helping me with correspondences and also Austin, the project manager who was very prompt in responding to any questions or concerns I had. We had to call out renovation pros for water damage that extended from upstairs through a downstairs ceiling. From the start renovation pros was awesome. Everyone who showed up at my house was courteous, friendly and professional. We had a couple of hiccups but what I appreciate the most is the were extremely pro-active in making sure that those hiccups were resolved right away! That was HUGE! We have used another restoration company for a similar issue in the past and they were horrible..... Renovation pros was a night and day difference and cannot recommend them enough. They connected us to a company to remove and store the contents of a hallway and 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and to a mitigation service to handle the asbestos removal. Great job! I had to blow out my entire kitchen to the studs and floor boards due to a flood. It took months longer than expected but that was due to Covid ( and a battle with a very low original bid from a insurance claims adjuster.) The company is very professional and caring which is very hard to get these days, thank you Michelle. The project manager (Erwin) has an eagle eye and makes sure everything is just right. The employees (Mike, Jake, Melissa) who physically do the work are flexible and accommodating which with an ever changing mind is so needed and a breath of fresh air, especially when you have never rebuilt a kitchen before. They provided referrals for flooring, cabinets, countertops etc. Special Thanks to Frank for the numerous flooring samples he provided and guiding me to the best flooring for my needs. Normally I write to warn people who not to choose. This time I felt it was important to write about a company you can trust since there are not that many you can trust to do the work, do it properly and not just disappear. So I found myself in the situation where I had flooding under my dishwasher and ended up with two checks from my insurance company to get everything fixed. Now I almost just went with the company who was contracted with my insurance but I am so glad I did not because it brought me to Greg and RenovationPros. I did some research and picked him from yelp and google reviews because I wanted someone local. So I had an estimate of what the insurance decided needed to be done from new cabinets to painting and new countertops. But that was pretty much it. However, I also wanted to get a new dishwasher out of this reno and so I proposed a couple of changes to Greg when he came over for his estimate. I not just wanted a dishwasher I also wanted to totally reconfigure my kitchen and take my counter and turn it into an island. To be able to do that my fridge had to be moved and water lines had to be installed on the opposite side of the kitchen. I also needed tile filled in where the old counter had been and the walls had to be stuccoed where there was none. I told him how much I had and asked if he could do all those things I wanted for my flat price. He measured and looked at everything and said he could get it done. At that point I cancelled the other company and went with RenovationPros. Now to make this long story a bit shorter, I got everything I had asked for and more... see pics I was a bit worried that during the time of my reno he would try to cut corners and go cheap on me because he had a flat fee. Not ever so! I am not an easy client and I probably drove him Crazy with all my wishes and requests but he stuck with his very polite can do attitude and the end result is beyond amazing and speaks for itself. I had the mold and dry out people come first to demolish everything and start the dry out. Then the cabinet guy came and build all new cabinets and the island. Then they drywalled everything new and the painter came. The painter had to work with my existing cabinets doors and I was the one who had painted them previously without any prepping. It was a nightmare to get the paint to stick and I was again worried they would just tell me that's as good as it gets ... but no - they went above and beyond to insure all was painted and would stay painted! Jose the painter is amazing! he is so detailed and into quality that I had to tell him to stop at times and just let it be because it was enough for me and you just could not do it any better. I also had asked Greg for black not too shiny countertops and he went everywhere trying to find me the right fit. I got exactly what I had in mind and I can't be more happy with my black silk quartz. When it was time to pick the backsplash he send me to Arizona tile which also impressed me because again I thought he would short change me. I walked right into the store and found my dream tile and he ordered it and it was installed by the best all around handyman I have ever seen. He was outstanding ! Brady was Going the extra mile to insure it was up to his standards and they were super high. There was no work spared and I know I did a lot of supervising and overseeing which not everyone might do but it was worth every extra week this took. Every time I had a concern or greg came and looked at the progress he was the one who came up with the thorough steps to handle whatever it was and never ever did I hear him say I am sorry but that's not included or is not necessary it's fine as it is the way it is. It did take a while but all is done and the results speak for themselves. Btw not only did I get a dishwasher out of this but also a cooktop, new range hood, farmhouse sink and a kitchen faucet. I am a savvy shopper so with the $ I had and the $ I paid Greg I was able to afford all those extras. I can not get enough of my new kitchen and I can not be more happy that I found RenovationPros. So my tip to everyone is don't just hand over your $ and have redone what needs to be done, be creative and savvy and get your dream before and after. Thanks Greg !!! This is the worst company out there. They subbed out all the work in my kitchen. I'm missing cabinets. They don't show when they promise to. Now they want to paint none matching cabinets. The end caps don't match the cabinets. They put drywall up but forgot insulation so had to rip out and redo. The list is long. Just don't ever use them. We are so pleased with the work preformed on our home. Joel and his helpers turned our house back into a home we only dreamed about. From the looks after many walls and floors were taken out it was pretty scary. We found it hard to believe it would ever be livable again.
