The people who work here are extremely nice and very professional, not only do they get your furniture quickly to you. But they go above and beyond to make sure you're picking out exactly what you need and want. I would definitely return to get more furniture from here and recommend anyone who is struggling to buy furniture to go here their payment options are easy and if you don't like used furniture they always have couches and bed sold as new! I personally got two couches (a set) and they helped me set it up and since I have kids, they made sure to take the mess along with them and helped me toss out the plastic and cardboard it came in! Poor costumer service. Kept coming up with excuses and let us sit there. Receipt for payment didn't match the contract shown to us. They also took our cards and ran our down payment before allowing us to view the contract. Were told very different prices, policies, and charges by different staff. No communication amongst staff and they didn't answer our questions, just talked around them. Ended up leaving with nothing we came for. Nothing but problems. First they didnt know how to set up auto pay, they "couldnt find the item" we were looking for but I was able to find it in 5 mins at another location. Then they didnt want to transfer the item to their location. They tried taking payments days early on multiple locations. I have been lied to my face and over the phone. They well say and do anything to get your money then dont give 2 shits about the contract. May I also add the employees are rude as shit and dont seem to understand English at all. I am in desperate need of a dining room set quickly and I figured this was the fastest way to go. I submitted my application and was approved, got a prompt phone call. They took more information including payment, took the first payment out. The assnt. Manager Alex offered me 2 time slots on Monday or Tuesday. I choose Monday, stating on Tuesday I will not be home at that time. It's Monday, the 2 hours pass and no table. I call and the guy says I picked Tuesday. When I tell him he's mistaken, he still insists I said Tuesday. I'm done, told them to give me my money back and going a different route. I will not work with a company who blatantly lies. renters beware! i received a all from jimmy, he is one of the sales associates he may be a manager or a assistant manger! he calls me and lied and said that corporate closed my account because o was 9 days past due! $53. when i have been making payments every 9 days! i asked him if i can make a payment he refused! i called corporate to verify of the lie was accurate, the very nice lady at corporate told me no its not true jimmy did in fact lie@ and wasn't supposed to refuse payments. especially when i have been making payments!! i filled a complaint with the district manager! do not go to this rent a center because you get harassing calls if you're even 1 day late! and if jimmy feels like he can't control your money as far as when he wants you to pay knowing you do pay he will lie to you and tell you that corporate closes your account when he did at the store! please beware of jimmy at the rent a center on sherman way and desoto in canoga park. he breaks rules as well he gave me and my son a phone for $23 when he wasn't supposed to. they arw samsung's sevens nice phone worth $580. so i everything was all good. i didn't even put half down on the phone so i guess he thought since he hooked me up on a nice phone he can control my money. i'm waiting patiently for the district manager to call me period!!! read more

Poor customer service. Delivery was not on time and I never received a phone call: I went in the next day and the sales manager was very rude, she did not acknowledge that she did anything wrong. I wouldn't recommend THIS store, but I do recommend RAC. read more
