I had what I thought was a low tire on Friday night at about 6:30 p.m. I stopped at a gas station and their tire machine was broke, but I could see my tire was very low. I saw the Rent-A-Tire across the street and wasn't sure if they were still opened but went over to see. By now it was about 6:55 p.m. The sign said they closed at 7:00 pm but the door was still open so I went in to see if they could put air in my tire. When they tried to put the air in the tire it would not take the air and they discovered there was a hole in the tire. They took my car in the bay and changed the tire for me! They put on my spare after inspecting it and making sure it was good. Gabriel showed me my tire and it was completely torn up! I was told it was a "blow out!" I was so upset and worried when I saw the tire and what could have happened! I was so grateful for Mario and Gabriel who took care of me, changed my tire and put the original in the trunk. And Mario did not even charge me for their work or time!! By the time I left it was about 7:15 pm, well pass closing time and on a Friday night! I am very grateful for both Gabriel and Mario for helping me out and getting me on my way and safely home! Let's see where do I begin. Let's start with the Manager, Manny G. I have called multiple places for a specific rim which were the HD Pro 1. Southern tire in Georgia. A tire place in humble texas. Even here local in San Antonio, Longhorn truck accessories. All said they will check for me and call me back. I called them multiple times and it was the same answer. Wasn't going anywhere. I called rent a wheel on west ave and i10 and spoke with Manny G. Dude was so helpful and took so much of his time to help me pick out rims that are similar to the design I originally wanted. (Fuel Clash) I read some of the threads and I was not pressured into buying what they thought was best for me. Manny G, made it his personal mission to make sure I was happy with my choice and took it personal to make sure everything arrived on time. Look I see that they have a 1 star rating, but let's be honest it's a rent to own place. It's going to come with its drawbacks, but I've using them since 2015 when I bought rims and tires. Since then I've been treated well. Granted I was current with ALL my payments and I even paid it off early. I also bought the extended warranty the 2nd time I bought tires because I had a blow out in Austin. Since then the warranty has come in handy at this location because Mario has helped me out every time that I've needed the help. He's ordered product that he didn't have for me and had it at the store the next day. I just want to say this place rocks!!!! I came all the way from Cibolo to get tires. The guys were patient with me as I was a few minutes late. They went over all my options and really helped me to make the best choice possible based on my financial situation. I didn't feel like I was being hassled or forced into buying something. They were really sweet, and they even referred me to a place around the corner to get my alignment and oil change done. My tire was low so I stopped at the gas station across the street from this rent a tire. The air pump at the gas station wasn't working so the woman working at the gas station referred me to the rent a tire across the street. I was blown away by the service I was given that I ended up making a purchase of new tires for my vehicle. The process was super simple and Mike in Jesus made it very easy for me to get approved. I visited this location to have air in my tires. As it turned out, I was in need of tires. They were very helpful and had the tires I needed and on my vehicle within the hour. The store application was easy to fill out and there was minimum information needed to set up an account. I drive by here almost every morning but thought I had to buy them all cash and since I am a single father I can afford that.
