This place is great! I gave them a call on 5/31 for a Tux that I would need for my wedding on 6/12/24 and they did not disappoint. I was able to schedule my fitting for 6/1 and after finding the right style and size we scheduled for pick up and it came out amazingly. If I need to rent a tux again, I am definitely come back here.

The customer service from Chuck was superb and for it being a last minute tuxedo rental he was absolutely amazing with customer service. I came to this place because it was highly recommended by a coworker. She said her son has been coming here for years for his various high school events. This was our first time renting a tux and this place gave us a great experience. Here's our experience broken down: 1st Fitting/measurements: The Taylor was very attentive & made helpful recommendations. We went with their least expensive set and for our son we switched out the pants & upgraded to more adjustable pair. I was very impressed with how professional he was & he made sure that measurements he took were as accurate as possible. We ended up renting 2 tuxedos including shoes for the Mr. & Jr., the total cost was about $2XX-ish for both. Pickup & fitting: We picked up Tuxedos on a Thursday evening. The young lady that was there was really friendly & helpful. When my son tried on the vest, she noticed that it was about oversized & recommend a more fitted & designed vest! The set came with cuff links also but I would recommend using your own as the ones that are provided are okay (all black with silver setting) but for a more personalized look use your own. She packaged up suits & accessories & we were outta there. Event: We got numerous compliments & everyone noticed how fitted and how great the Tuxedos were on both of my guys. Our Jr. was the ring bearer for the wedding which made his outfit even more important & he looked great, the bride was happy. Returning the Tuxedos: This was a quick & easy process. The Taylor Guy just made sure all clothing pieces & accessories were returned + in good condition. We got back our $10 deposit ($5/suit) & we were done.

Great place to rent a tux. Chuck was very helpful with everything and attentive. Rented a suit for my son's prom and he showed us different options and reccomend the best one for my son. Fit was great and he was really happy with the suit. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to to get a suit at a good price.

This has been one of the best shopping experiences I've ever had!!! I typically hate shopping or going out because I have terrible anxiety and just want to get back home ASAP, but after coming in for a quinceanera for my daughter and having literally the easiest, friendliest, fastest service I've ever had anywhere in my whole life. Trust me when I say I dont really like writing these reviews nor have I written many in my life but the ones I do write, I write becuase I wanna remember these places and always want to return to them. The gentleman there(I'm sorry I wish I knew his name cuz he deserves the hugest shout out) is the main reason I'm even writing this because he nicest, friendliest guy ever. Asked me what I wanted, gave me great recommendations and had me in and out and looking the best(just ask my wife or anyone at the party)I've ever looked in literally 15 minutes. Don't waste your time and or go anywhere else, it'll be an all day thing anywhere else,trust me.

I LOVE DOWNEY RENT-A-TUX. The owner, Charlie, is the best. Him & his staff are very professional, helpful, nice, and they really know their tuxes. I had a huge wedding party and everyone looked amazing, the tuxes were the best ones I seen while I was shopping around. They match the Davids Bridal dresses perfectly. We came here to get my wife a tux for our wedding. I was worried because I know men's tailoring is different and at times more difficult then Womens tailoring. I used Downey Rent a Tux to rent my wedding tuxedos for the hubby, my groomsmen, my Dad, and my Grandfather and it was a great decision. They had a great selection and could get anything we saw elsewhere and a better price. They are very patient and helpful while you are deciding which tux is right for you. Take their time measuring you making sure everything will fit perfectly. I didn't have to go bridezilla on anyone there! They walked us through the fit, styling, and accessorizing and we ended up with an excellent look that made the men feel comfortable, confident and stylish. Recently went to a wedding, and I have never worn a tuxedo. I was able to get in and out on the first day without any problems. They honored their coupon found online, which was a nice incentive to check them out. I had some time restrictions when I came to pick up the tuxedo I chose. The fitting was done in a timely manner, as promised. The jacket was absolutely perfect, and I liked the fit and break of the pants. I would come back in the future, should I need another tuxedo for a black tie event. read more

Was here to rent a tux for my son for Prom this weekend and I was asked by "Tom" one of the guys who works there to yelp them... Very professional. My son got he's tux there for prom. Some what pricey. It also seemed like they didn't have a good amount of each size. They don't have a great variety but they have great customer service and good quality tuxedos. read more

My son has senior pictures tomorrow and I totally forgot to rent him a suit. We tried a bunch of shops, but they couldn't help us on short notice. The wonderful staff at Rent A Tux told us they could help us and to come right over. They measured and fitted my son for a suit and did the alterations while we went for ice cream. We rented our tuxedos here for our wedding! The device was nice, at times it was very busy sine it was around prom season, recommended to make appointments before going. They have many options to choose from. I liked the way everything turned out. Yes it's $$$ but everything was clean and organized. I believe we paid $160 per suit. read more

I had a wedding to attend for my friend this weekend and did not have time to go and get fitted for a tuxedo beforehand due to my work schedule. When finding this shop on Yelp, the reviews all pointed toward what I needed. As soon as my friend and I walked in, we were quickly assisted and were able to get tuxedos just hours before the wedding. I flew into L.A from Houston TX for a funeral and needed a suit fast. Funeral was on Friday and I came in for fitting on Tuesday. Manager was fast and friendly and I was out in less than 30 minutes. Picked suit up Thursday and it fit perfectly. Highly recommended if in need of a suit. read more

I absolutely loved the customer service we received here. I never rented a tux or suit before so I had no idea if there was a time frame. We rented a suit for my son's middle school culmination just a couple days before. Joe assisted us and measured my son for the right fit. The suit fit him perfect! She seemed nice and asked me if I was searching for a specific color or occasion. I mentioned I was just looking to see if anything caught my attention. I have NO IDEA what vibes I gave off and how anyone could shop there comfortably, as she never left my side. As well as did not seem to like me touching the dress (I only looked at one). She was grabbing the dress from me while I tried to see the bottom of it. So I just decided to put it back on the rack the way I saw it and she said "I'll do it." I wouldn't go back because it was so uncomfortable and was not welcoming at all. The dress was also $80 for what I assume was a random brand and the quality was not suited for a baby's skin.

Both leis and experiences were really seamless and didn't have any problems with my order. I went and picked up the leis a day in advance too. No big deal, but just don't tell me you are if you aren't. I'm sure they were busy due to the holiday, but still. Lastly, I didn't expect the bouquet to look identical to what I chose online, but I felt it definitely wasn't as full, or have as many roses, as the picture. Finally getting around to giving this place a much deserved review. I've been coming to this place since my high school days. They always take good care of me. I'm not the most fashionable guy so it's always nice going somewhere they help get you set up in the right style for the right occasion. I think the guy that usually takes care of me is Joe. He is always in a great mood and very friendly to talk with. He definitely know his job. Last time I went in it was for a last minute rental I needed for an out of town wedding. Once again they were great. I needed to pick it up Thusday and return late Monday and he was able to arrange that for me. I would recommend this place to anyone in need of a tux rental. The rental tuxedo experience for my youngest son's wedding on 6/20/26 deserves way more than 5 stars. My son and his wedding party were very well taken care of from beginning to end. As fate would have it, this was the very same place I had my wedding groomsmen rent from 34 years prior. Chuck the current owner was actually the son of the business owner back then who he took the business over from his father. Chuck is extremely driven to make sure ALL his customers receive only the best service. The price was within my son's budget too. Don't go any place else. Come see Chuck first when shopping around. After visiting Men's Wearhouse and spending hours looking for something through their catalogs, the challenge of finding a nice modern tux for a wedding was becoming daunting and a hassle. This was our first time renting a tux and would go back. They were very helpful since it turned out a tux was not needed so we had to change the pants to regular suit pants. Called to see if it was something that we could do and they said they'd have it ready when we went to pick it up. This was very convenient since we do not live so close. I had to rent a suit for an out of state Christmas party. My wife suggest this place. This place was more then I expected. Chuck was very attentive. My Wife and I were in and out very quickly. The suit fit me to a T. Due to all the weight I am losing that I could actually look good in a suit( my Wife's comment). I wish I gotten a suit there when I was married ( my Wife's comment again.
