What I can say about the Westwood office: I went through a difficult time - I had surgery prior to renting - I was traveling from Maine and a few days before leaving for NJ - my car got hit and totaled. I recovered from surgery with complications - without a car to get anywhere once able to drive. The kindness, the thoroughness and patience that everyone at this office who helped me had was beyond 100 percent. I know them by name: Kayler, Kahlia, Eric, Roman and Brenna. They were INCREDIBLE and I will always rent from them. Shout out to Chelsea in Exeter and Ryan in Portsmouth - but everyone (whose names I may not know) deserve kudos for excellent customer care. So important - makes or breaks a company. Please acknowledge their excellence.

Every time we've done so the van has been nice and new and clean, the service is always with a smile and a hug (minus the hug), and it's great because they have a good sized lot were we can leave our car during the rental time period. I could only escalate with customer service on their website. I wish I could give this location 0 stars, because that is what they deserve. Never again, Enterprise. The plate glass on the front door is shattered, the security camera is half pulled off the wall, the garage is a mess, as is the parking lot, and half of the shrubbery is littered with paper or is dying. The staff denied my online reservation, saying it was for another of their stores, but they gave me a replacement car. The problem was the tree sap or some other sticky stuff on the hood of the car. They tried to wash it off, but no dice. They didn't have any mineral spirits in the mess of a garage. Worse was that the windshield fluid was low, so the dashboard control drove us crazy until we stuck a hose in the reservoir to fill it up. Earth to Corporate: Are you listening?!

I had a confirmed rental (although the confirmation email states in fine print that it's no guarantee of a vehicle being available). I showed up at the location at the confirmed time, only to be "walked" and told there wasn't a truck available and that "someone" in inventory was supposed to have contacted me. I left and made a reservation w/UHaul who actually guarantee to pay you $50 if a confirmed rental isn't fulfilled. To make matters worse, Budget charged me a $75 no-show fee even though they were the no-show. I had to call customer service and after about 5 min was able to get them to process a credit. Their initial response was that I was supposed to cancel my reservation. Go figure.

Not a huge issue, but usually when you pre-book, I've found they usually show up a few min early. The whole reason I pre-booked with a car service instead of Uber/Lyft for early airport transport was to avoid the stress of "will the car show up". Driver was friendly and safe and got us there on-time, but it was NOT a Cadillac XTS, instead it was a minivan. Again, not a big deal, but not what I pre-booked. All in all good service, but needed to show up early (or at least on-time) and in the vehicle booked (or at least communicate ahead of time if not available) to get a 5-star.
