Things are pretty expensive everywhere and Renzios are no exception. There are long lines everywhere at the mall location but here. I still see few people waiting for their food here and there so their food must be good even though high in price. That said, their gyro meat is solid. I usually get the two options from them. The gyro combination with fries and drink. Lot of people love Renzios double fried fries, just like me. Gyros are good too. Get the combo if you want the fries. They only charge 1 penny more for drinks and ice tea has been a solid option for me. The next popular option is the plate. Yes, the pricing is up there but you get to choose two sides which can also be double of the same thing. The greek salad with everything on is a good option and also steamed vegi if you want to skip on carbs. Most of my orders took about a minute to two so consider this place quite fast and efficient. read more

This is for the Park Meadows Mall location. We have eaten here before and the food was good. Tonight, we had the Gryo Special #1. There was VERY little meat and it had been sitting for a while and was dried out. They tried to cover up the lack of meat by loading the sandwich with enough lettuce for a salad. The Tazekia Sauce was watery and runny. We will not be eating hear again, for $34 for two meals, We would have had a better meal with a Happy meal from McDonalds! $16.70 for a gyro, salad and a drink is very steep. However if you spin around the food court at Park Meadows, you'll notice many unhealthy options until you see Renzio's! They're not the happiest there and they talk to you as if they have to be there. I guess you gotta make a buck some how. Regardless, the food is really good and if you request the tzatziki sauce on the side your gyro won't be drowning in big globs. The lamb meat is great and the salad with a light vinaigrette dressing does the trick! We went to Renzios because we've had it before in another mall and it was delicious! This Renzios was overpriced and the food was subpar. The falafel was bland and wasn't fried long enough so it fell apart, chicken was super dry and flavorless, potatoes were soggy, and barely any tzatziki sauce on the pita or the plate. The only two good items were the salad and fries. We paid $50 for what is pictured, really disappointing that only the fries and salad were good considering the price. We also got unbelievably terrible service. We asked her to repeat the order and she scoffed and frowned and yelled it at us. When I apologized we didn't understand it initially, she gave us a nasty look again and then walked away. When the food was ready, we went pick the food from another staff member, we were given 2 ketchups. When we asked for more ketchup (considering the size of the fries), she sighed and rolled her eyes and then gave us more. I haven't really seen that kind of service and attitude in a while (especially from grown adults), kinda left me speechless. Today was an undecided food kinda day. Lol Just had the urge to drive out to Park Meadows to grab something quick before I head out on my nice leaisurely exercise. Initially, wanted pasta, but then started walking around and spotted Greek food. The gyro meat started playing tricks on my mind and got the best of me. It made me circle back. Lol This is how I ended up deciding to have something from this place. Got the gyro meal which came with fries and a drink. The gyro meat was good and flavorful, but the pita was just a tad drenched with too much taziki sauce and doused with feta. Could've had worse and had better. Took a couple bites of the gyro then just ate the rest of the gyro meat and greens in the wrap. The best part of this meal was the fresh crispy plain fries w/no salt. This is a great example of good food (per reviews) ruined by bad customer service. The guy at the ordering counter and the lady at the serving were so RUDE. They didn't allow us to ask any questions. Gave us a stare and even spoke in a foreign language. My wife and I did give feedback on the spot and chose to eat elsewhere. We made the right decision. Went here 1/7/11. This is located at the Park Meadows Mall food court, on the left hand side. Prices are decent and it looks clean. I was torn between the pastitsio and the vegetarian plate ($8.99). The pastitsio looked a little eh, and I wanted to be able to sample more things so I decided on the vegetarian sampler. It came with three falafel, split in half, 2 rice-filled dolmades, Americanized Greek salad, 1 piece of spanakopita, 1 piece of tyropita, a container of tzatsiki and a pita, quartered. - The falafel weren't in balls, but rather small, silver dollar sized patties. They were crispy on the outside and were about a "3" in flavor. - Salad was Americanized because it contained lettuce. The dressing was full of actual spices and herbs. It was the highlight of the meal. - Dolmades were yummy but could definitely use a big spritz of lemon juice or some avgolemono sauce (or both!) - Spanakopita was 95% spinach. Although the crust was flaky, I just didn't like it. There was no real cheese taste, although I saw a few little blobs of cheese. I ended up peeling off the filo dough and just picking at the spinach filling. -Tyropita was bland. I love my feta briny and this was just horrible. It was incredibly bland and didn't have even the slightest hint of tang to it. Pass on this one. -Pita bead, well, I just took a bite because I wasn't in the mood for it. Would I go back? Only if I was confined to eating at just the food court. The service was fast but bad spanakopita and tyropita is a deal breaker for me. read more

I have been going to this place for years. It's my favorite. BUT the past few times has been awful. They have good oven potatoes. But they never have them. The staff gets mad when you ask. They just keep saying no potatoes. It's very irritating when you are asking if they are going to have some and they won't answer just no potatoes. Then the sauce is so watery. It use to not be like that. The staff attitude is like they don't want to be bothered with you and they don't want to be there. I have never seen a smile on any of their faces. read more

AWFUL customer service. I work at this mall, and being from the industry I've come to expect certain things when being waited on... Decency, and appreciation for my business. I ordered the mushrooms and hummus with pita bread. When I got down to get my food, I told the tall, skinny woman that I ordered it to go. She then rolled her eyes at me, took out what looked like a costco bucket of hummus and slopped it on my plate. Needless to say it was the worst hummus I have ever tasted, and her personal hygiene was a major turn off. I spent $10 on a small portion of food that I didn't even eat due to my disappointment. If you MUST have Greek food at this mall, I would suggest the med cafe across from renzios. Their food is actually good and decently priced. I love Park Meadows mall for all the variety of food and shopping. I have been wanted to try this restaurant because I drive by the other location on my way home from work. The menu looked great and I quickly ordered because I felt rushed by the young man taking my order. I was soooo disappointed!! The chicken gyro had no flavor and the chicken reminded me of canned chicken from Costco. There was no seasoning and a ton of sauce! 03.09.14. Renzios at Park Meadows. I eat here 75% of the time when I am at the mall. I always get the gyro combination meal. This visit, there seems to be a lot of newer staff - all pleasant and looked professional. EXCEPT for the tall, skinny woman making the food. She was not happy and just slopping food around. I watched her weight the gyro meat for each meal she prepared - she never added any or took any away so I'm not sure why she was weighing it in the first place. That is wasted time. She put gobs of the cucumber sauce on each gyro. Most of the lettuce and onions ended up on the board and not on the pita - mine only had one sliver of onion as the rest went on the board and floor. I asked her for more onion and she looked at me, rolled her eyes and put one (yes one) more sliver of onion on the pita. Her personal hygiene was not that good - especially when she is out front and visible to the customers. Others in line noticed and commented about her attitude and food making inabilities. I like Renzios as it's not something you find on every street - like many of the other places in the food court. However, this experience is enough to look at other places - especially if I see that tall, skinny woman behind the counter. read more
